Welcome to the character spoilers just a little WARNING: if you are still playing the game or want to play it. I suggest you don't come here, because IT WILL SPOIL THE GAME FOR YOU. But if you really want to know and can't wait then it's fine with me (but you should be a little paitent about it). Although I have completed the game, I might have forgotten some parts so if you have any suggestions you can email me here . Also, this is only about part of the story and it's characters, so if you were expecting it to be a walkthough sorta thing, well it's not.
And another thing most of the information that I put in here are true because I've actually seen it in the game and if you don't believe it then see it yourself.
Ok well, If you havn't figured it out then it might ruin it for you. It doesn't come right out and say it but I'm sure that Squalls parents are Laguna Loire and Raine. Here's how I prove it...
Now, the reason is because later in the game in the third disk when Laguna, Kiros and Ward are on the ship, the Ragnarok, you can talk to Laguna and he'll say that when it's all over they can talk. Not much of a hint, but, if you go to Ward (since he lost his voice in the Galbadian war) Kiros will say that he's thinking "how good it is that you don't look like your father". And if you go to Kiros he will say "you look a lot like your mother."
There's also a part before that when your are in Esthar and your talking to Laguna (when he's the president of Esthar) and he will start to talk about when he was in the Galbadian army and later, he will also start talking about Ellone, Raine and Julia. There's, I think, another hint in there.
Rinoa's parent's are General Caraway and Julia Heartilly. That's so because in the game you meet General Caraway on one of your missions in the first disk. To tell how Julia is her mother is a little harder. This might only come if you have gotten to the point where you have heard of Juila's song "Eyes on Me." If you go to the tutorials on the menu and click the information part twice and go to terms check out "Eyes on Me" it will talk about how she married General Caraway after realeasing the song and had a girl a year later. It will also say that she died in a car crash at age 28, before her daughter turned the age of five.
Julia was in love with Laguna, but when he left to go to war, she was heart broken. Although, she later met Caraway and got married afterward.
When Squall was little he lived in an orphanage with Quistis, Selphie, Zell, Irvine, Seifer, and Ellone. The orphanage was founded by Matron, otherwise know as Edea. Her husband is Cid or also called head master Cid, and together they built the Garden in which most of the people now live in.
As if you have'nt figured it out yet. Squall and Rinoa get together. (awwwww...) (fans of Squall or Rinoa slaps over head)
(owwww...hey I'm only tellin the facts) ok well, I thought it was sweet but if some people don't, oh well, too bad. :) but it does seem that they live happly ever after.
Also I think that Selphie and Irvine should get together. Cuz Irvine always liked Selphie. And even Zell has someone who likes him. They call her the girl with the pig tails. I think they do like each other because if you go to the libarary in Balamb Garden where the girl with the pig tail works, and you have Zell in you party, she'll get a little nervous and Zell will ask her if she can find a book for him. And later when you visit the Garden at somepoint in the game. The other librarian will say that the girl in the pig tails is not in the library and that she went to visit Zell's house in Balamb.
