Hey welcome to the spoilers section for FF7. This might explain some of the confusing things in the game and make it clear, such as deep in Cloud's life and more. This is a spoilers sections so I suggest that you only come here if your confused about the plot or characters pasts because it's hard to explain things unless you have an idea of what's going on. So don't come here unless you've played most of the game. Also, everything is explained slowly though out the game so don't worry about it. There are side parts that some people miss and I'll include that in the spoilers section as well. It's a very long and complicated story so I'll try my best to explain everything. Please do not take this without permission. Thank you and enjoy.
And another thing, most of the information that I put in here are true because I've actually seen it in the game and if you don't believe it then see it yourself.
The mixed up story of Cloud
Well first if you want to see it yourself I'll give you the hints. Because it's better if you see it yourself and put it together like I did.
If you want to know more about Zack and Cloud go to Nibleheim sometime later in the game around the 3rd or 4th disk, I think. Go into the mansion and down the long corridor to the library, you should get a flash back of what happend 4-5 years ago.
The Real Story
Some people think that Cloud is a clone a Sephiroth but thats not really true. Cloud is a real person born in Nibleheim. When they were little(flashback), one day Tifa's mother died so she went up to the mountains(forgot why), all her friends back-outed because it was dangerous up there, but Cloud followed. They both fell from the bridge and Tifa was in a coma for a few weeks. The townspeople blamed Cloud for her injury which caused him to feel guilty for his weakness for not being able to protect her, so, he decides to join Soldier to try to impress her. He never made it to Soldier, and a few years later (Cloud was around 16) they went on a mission to the reactor in Nibelheim. Cloud was just an ordinary guard at that time. Along with him were Sephiroth and Zack, who were a SOLDIER. When the entered the town Cloud was too embarresed to show Tifa that he wasn't in SOLDIER so he kept his helmet on to cover his face. They went up to the reactor in the mountains, and when they got inside, they looked at Jenova who was in the chamber. Sephiroth see's the people who were infused with a huge amount of mako(they looked like monsters)and goes mad because he thought that he was just like them. So, when they go back to the inn and rest up, Cloud realizes that Sephiroth is gone and goes to the mansion in town to find him. He finds Sephiroth in the basement reading the documents and books and finds out that he has somewhat gone insane. Sephiroth goes on a rampage and sets fire to the town killing anyone in his way. Tifa follows and is angered when her father dies by Sephiroths blade. So she tries to stop him but is instead slashed by his sword and falls down the stairs. Zack climbs up the stairs to the door past Tifa but gets thrown back so now it's up to Cloud. Cloud comes and confronts Sephiroth in front of Jenova's chamber. Sephiroth has cut off the head of Jenova and flys out so Cloud follows and Seph sticks his sword through him. Cloud then takes the sword, flings sephiroth off of the bridge, and takes the sword out of him. He goes back, picks up tifa and places her to the side.
Okay, well that's all I can think of for now. I havn't played the game in awhile so I do tend to forget things. To be continued...
Vincent's life
Vincent is supposedly a mysterious man, and I guess he is, but there is a lot more to him than you think. He has a link with Shinra and here's why. He was a former Turk, and to make a long story short I'll just tell you were to find that out. Later on in the game around the second disk when you get a chocobo that can cross mountains, or by using the highwind, go to the waterfall that's close to Gold Saucer and Cosmo Canyon. Go inside the waterfall and you'll see Lucrecia (his love). She'll then talk about their past. Later on go back to the cave in the third disk and you'll get his best weapon and limit break.
Vincent loved Lucrecia but found out later that she fell in love with Hojo(which I think is gross x.x)and later they had a son named Sephiroth (the real Sephiroth). Lucrecia never even got a chance to hold her child. Hojo, being the mad scientist that he was, wanted to inject Jenova cells into Lucrecia's womb before the baby was born. Vincent didn't want that to happen so he tried to stop him, but Hojo shoots Vincent in the proccess. While Vincent was unconsious, Hojo expirimented on him turning him into the monster that he morphs into during limit breaks.
About Aeris
Aeris is an Ancient(can't really explain it) she has a connection with the life on the planet and can hear its cries. Now if your wondering why she dies it's because she has to save the planet from the meteor because she's the one who has the Holy Materia. Just to remind you YOU CAN'T SAVE HER she has to die in order to save the planet. A lot of people have been saying that there is a way to save her so I just want to make that clear. I know there is this gameshark code were you can still have her fight in your party but that's another story.
Aeris was born in the snowtown to the north. Her father is professor Gast and her mother, who is also an ancient, is Ifalna. You can learn about that if you go to the left house next to the armor shop and look at the tapes on the machine. On the tape is documentaries on the Ancients. Slso, there are some tapes of when Aeris was born. As shown in the videos, they were attacked by soliders led by Prof. Hojo. Prof. Gast was killed during the attacked. Ifalna and Aeris then fled to Midgar where Ifalna was injured by the soldiers and died on the steps near the train. Her odoptive mother who was there during the time took Aeris in and took care of her from then on.
