| The 4th �Stinky Creek Folk & Music Festival� ( Port Lincoln, SA � Fri. 28th Sept.� Mon. 1st Oct. 2007 ) Accommodation Guide :- (Updated 27/02/07) The festival is based at the Lions Hostel, North Shields, which is just off the Lincoln Highway, 11 Km. from Port Lincoln (on the way to the airport & towards the village of Poonindie) Most of the planned activities, will take place,over the weekend, in & around the large, fully enclosed 'activity hall' & meals will be available, at very reasonable rates, from Friday evening, until Monday breakfast, including excellent evening meals. (Note: Bookinp are essential for Friday night's Medieval Banquet) Camping on-site will be available for $10per person per night, with all facilities close by showers& toilets etc. If you have a campervan or caravan -please check in at reception on arrival, so that we can allocate you a suitable site, & the same rateswill apply. (Please note NO DOGSallowed !) If you prefer to use the Caravan Pnrk, in North Shields, which is just across the road (10 mins walk) -you will need to book ahead as it is likely to be fully booked for that long weekend.They have 11 luxury cabins & 19standard cabins from about$50/$60per night for 2 people,up to 6 people per cabin; plus powered & un-powered sites-some on the foreshoreof Boston Bay. Enquiries for ThePort Lincoln Caravan Park may be made on (08) 8684 3512 (Fax: 8684 3504). Your own bedding is required in the cabins -but can be hired,by arrangement. The accommodution at the hostel, will be mainly for performers & is in thenewly renovated dormitory-style sleepingquarters,with 6 bunk beds in each room. Your own sleeping bags or blankets will be required, but the beds & facilities are brand new. Showers, hand basins & toilets are within very easy reach. We are only charging $16 per night, per person for this dormitory accommodation -but bookings will be essential. Please enquire on the numbers below. We will be fairly 'self-contained'for the 3 and a half days of the festival, but there are a range of facilities within a few minutes walk of the hostel, including The Wheatsheaf Hotel; a Caravan Park (thePort Lincoln Caravan Park) with Roadhouse: fuel, public telephone,postbox, food & generalstore, plus swimming , boating & fishing available from the foreshore& jetty close by. The hotel currently offers no accommodation.
