| Shiryu is Seiya's best friend and he's always willing to die for Athena or his friends. He always thinks about everyone else before himself and his fist and shield are the most formiadable. His attacks are very powerful, but they have one very serious weak spot. He lowers his fist left fist before his strikes and leaves his heart unprotected. He has many dragon attacks and they are all very strong (and sometimes the same). |

| The Good: Shiryu is the most loyal character of Saint Seiya who would face any foe for his friends, he doesn't care about himself and makes all kids of sacrifices. The Bad: He loses his sight too many times. The Ugly: He appears unaware of Shunrei's feelings, that or he is a firm believer in "bros before hoes". |
