| Hagen of Merak Beta, he was the sidekick to Siegfried and loved Freya, Hilda's sister. He has control over both ice-based attacks and fire-based ones so he is a formidable foe. He always lived with Hilda and Freya, even as a child. None of them seem to have a family and he's always at Freya's side. He's not very modest but chivalrious and seems to care mostly about Freya, he then shows his true colors when he battles Hyoga. Hyoga keeps telling Hagen that Hilda is under a spell and that Freya went with him on her own will. He on the other hand is very closed minded and says that Hyoga confused her. During his childhood he used to train inside a cave that had molten lava and was very hot. He got so used to the heat that when Hilda resurected the God Warriors, he got the "fire cloak", the 6 footed horse of Merak Beta. When Freya shows up, he decides that his loyalty to his country goes before anything else and attacks her. Hyoga gets in the way and protects her, then gets up and kills him with his Aurora Excecution. |
