| Ikki escapes with the Golden Armor and hides in a warehouse. Seiya, Shiryu, Hyoga and Shun go after him and look around in the docks and Seiya discovers his hiding place. Ikki puts on the armor, but Seiya drops in on him and gets the armor off him. His henchmen leave with a part of the armor and he vanishes. Seiya, Shiryu, Hyoga and Shun defeat one henchman and recover four pieces of the armor. Ikki posseses the rest and sends out more of his henchmen to try to recover it, but it's not enough. Shiryu says that Ikki will challenge them sooner or later and without their armors they are at a disadvantage so he volunteers to get the armor repaired and heads for his training place, the Rozan Mountains in China. Seiya tries to find Ikki by getting a dog on his scent, but fails as Shiryu arrives in China. He asks his sensei (who was well by now) where he can get his armor repaired. He tells Shiryu that before this he has to test him and sends many attacks at him. Shiryu blocks them all, but his sensei berates him for moving back as he blocks and avoids them and tells him to always move foward. He tells Shiryu to go to Jamir, a hidden place between the Himalayas and China and find Mu who can restore armors. He leaves for Jamir and battles many obstacles, one of which is an army of skeletons which tries to stop him. Remembering what his sensei told him he evades their attacks moving foward and gets through them. He finds Kiki, a telekinetic midget who attacks him, but is brought down when Shiryu breaks part of the palace he is in. Mu comes out and shows Shiryu his great power by putting the palace back together and tells Shiryu that the only way to repair the armors is by sacrificing his life. Shiryu has to use a great part of his blood to heal the armors and Shiryu without saying a word slits both of his wrists and starts pouring the red liquid on to them. Mu is amazed by this and watches as Shiryu turns white. Back in Japan, Shun is attacked by one of the Black Saints, Ikki's main henchmen. Black Cygnus easily dominates Shun until Hyoga arrives and shows him the real power of Cygnus. The other Black Saints arrive and berate Black Cygnus for attacking them without permision and they leave. Then Seiya gets a letter from Ikki who issued him and the other three Saints a duel for the armor. After Shiryu heals the armors, Mu seals his wounds and takes care of him while he recovers, meanwhile the day of the duel arrives and they go to the place where it will take place. Shun gives bells to Hyoga and two to Seiya, one for him and one for Shiryu, Hyoga and Shun leave. Kiki goes to Seiya and gives him his armor, using an illusion so Seiya thinks it's Shiryu. Seiya quickly finds Kiki and finds out what his friend did for him and gives Kiki the bell Shun gave them meant for Shiryu. Kiki leaves and Seiya puts his armor on and goes to find the Black Saints. Black Pegasus meets Seiya and they fight. Seiya and Black Pegasus both unleash a meteor punch and Seiya kills his opponent as well as dodging all of his attacks with the exception of one. Seiya gets the piece of armor Black Pegasus had and walks out to find Ikki, but as he walks he starts feeling ill and notices his skin where he was hit is turning black. He faints and falls of a precipice with the parts of the armor he had. Meanwhile, Hyoga meets Black Cygnus and is attacked by the Black Diamond Dust, but it doesn't affect him. Hyoga then uses his Diamond Dust and defeats his opponent. Black Cygnus takes off the little duck from his tiara and sends it to Ikki so he can know how Hyoga's special attack works. Hyoga takes the piece of the armor and looks for Phoenix. Shun walks past where Seiya fell and hears the little bell he gave him and uses his chain to pull him back up, until he is attacked by both Black Dragon and Black Andromeda. Black Andromeda uses his chain against him and it turns to a snake. Shun then uses one of his chain to defeat his foe, but is no match for Black Dragon. When he is about to take both Shun and Seiya out (Seiya is still hanging), Shiryu appears and tells them he'll take care of the Black Dragon. They square off and Shiryu seems to be doing pretty well, but Black Dragon wonders why he won't attack. He finds out that Shiryu is weak from having lost most of his blood and asks him why he fights. Shiryu tells him it's for friendship and his foe laughs at him. Shiryu then gathers his cosmo and hits the Black Dragon with his Dragon Fury attack and takes him out for a while. Shiryu faints because he is too weak and then Black Dragon gets up. Shiryu wonders if it's the end for him, but Black Dragon returns his health instead of killing him. He then dies in Shiryu's arms and tells him he hopes that he would have had friends like him. Shiryu pokes Seiya in his vital points so the contaminated blood would get out of him and he and Shun go after Ikki. At the time, Ikki and Hyoga meet and start fighting. Hyoga uses his Diamond Dust on Phoenix, but he knows how it is and easily evades it. Ikki uses his Demon Fist and makes Hyoga hallucinate how his mother decomposes and Hyoga shakes it off. Ikki punches a hole through Hyoga's armor and leaves him for dead. Shiryu and Shun then meet up with Ikki, Shun knocks out Shiryu because he wants to face his brother. He tells Ikki that if he is going to take someone's life to take his' and that he is willing to sacrifice himself for his friends. Ikki smiles and walks towards him, but Seiya arrives and says he'll fight him. Ikki gets the upper hand on them with one of his attacks until Hyoga arrives on the scene. He was saved by the cross he was wearing and it blocked the punch. Ikki tries his Demon Fist again, but Hyoga deflects it back to him and Ikki sees his Black Saints betraying him. He wakes up from it and attacks them all with his ultimate attack. He knocks everyone out except for Seiya who was saved by the Golden Armor. Seiya and Ikki fight and as Ikki tries an attack on him Shiryu's shield appears on his arm to block the attack, then Ikki tries something else, but the Nebula Chain stops him. Seiya then launches his attack and both the Pegasus Meteor and the Diamond Dust at once. Ikki is then defeated and he starts coming to his senses. The other Bronze Saints recover and he is outnumbered. Shun asks him to join them, but Ikki tells them that even if he wanted to there is a force much greater than he that would stop them. Then Docrates shows up to see Ikki's progress and is dissapointed to find out he had been defeated. Docrates uses his special atttack on everyone, but they manage to avoid it. Ikki then uses his strongest attack at the mountain in the battle field to make an avalanche to bury everything in its path. Docrates and Ikki are burried and the other four Saints escape with the helmet of the armor. |
