Dante is Capella's partner who helps him ambush Hyoga and Shun and eventually defeats them. Like Shun, Dante uses a chain, but it contains a ball with spikes at it's end. He fights Ikki after he is done defeating Capella and like his partner takes the worst from the fight. He ends up losing one of his chains to Ikki (he crushes it with one hand). Shun gets back up to the battle field and finnishes the job by killing Dante with his Nebula Chain.
