| Perseus Argol is perhaps the most dangerous Silver Saint in the St. Seiya universe. He is not too strong with his fighting skills (strong enough to be a Silver Saint though), but where he makes up for it is with his shield. His shield, the Gorgon Shield has the power to turn people who look into it to stone. The battle between Shiryu and Argol is the most dramatic encounter in St. Seiya. The strongest shield vs. the most dangerous one. Shiryu's arm is turned into stone, but to prevent Argol from turning him to stone like he did Seiya and Shun, pokes his eyes out and defeats him, but at the terrible loss of his vision. |
