| Brother of Aioria, the Sagittarius Gold Saint was among the most powerful of them. He was also the leading candidate for being the next patriarch of the Sanctuary. When Saga killed the patriarch and posed as him, Aioros discovered him and prevented him from killing baby Athena. He ran away with her, until Aioros ran into Shura who attacked him mercilessly. Aioros fought bravely, but couldn't do much because he didn't want to hurt Shura nor the baby who crawled to him. Aioros managed to escape with the baby after Shura left him for dead and gave the baby and his armor to Mitsumasa Kiddo so he could guard both. After his death his soul lives in the armor of Sagittarius and helps Seiya and crew when ever he can. The most important role of Aioros throughout the series is in living inside the Golden Armor of Sagittarius and sending it to Seiya whenever he needs it like in the battle with Aioria and against Poseidon. |
