Elise Duguay, 37 years old, started her artistic career at the side of Rene Simard, with the emission of the television program R.S.V.P in Quebec. She got married to Céline's sound engineer Dennis Savage (who has worked for Céline for 13 years) on December 27, 1994 (10 days after the marriage of Céline and Rene). Elise hopes to have a child soon. While waiting, she is continuing her career as a back-up singer near artists like Claude Dubois and Isabelle Boulay and lends her voice for the recording of albums. 

She speaks of the most beautiful memories that she keeps of moments shared with Céline: " I remember the day when, in the Swiss Alps, we played golf. As with several people who followed Céline in the tour, I was not well equipped for this sport. Céline  brought us in a specialized shop and bought all the accessories for us that we wanted!

At the end of the concert which she gave to the Molson Center to celebrate the passage to year 2000, Céline said something  to me which I will will never forget . She came to us, Julie Leblanc and me, and said to us: "Thank you girls for always being there [for me]. I know that lately, we have not really had the chance to talk because I was very occupied, but I want to say to you that I love you very much."  It was no longer the star which was there, in front of us, but the friend who spoke to us, simply...

Elise Duguay, 37 ans, a amorcé sa carrière artistique aux côtés de René Simard, à l'émission de télévision R.S.V.P. Mariée depuis le 27 décembre 1994 (soit 10 jours après le mariage de Céline et René) à l'ingénieur en sonorisation Denis Savage (qui travaille depuis 13 ans avec Céline), elle espère avoir un enfant bientôt. En attendant, elle poursuit sa carrière de choriste auprès d'artistes comme Claude Dubois et Isabelle Boulay et prête sa voix pour l'enregistrement de pubs. 

Elle évoquedeux des plus beaux souvenirs qu'elle garde des moments partagés avec la mégastar : "Je me rappelle du jour où, dans les Alpes suisses, nous avons joué au golf. Comme plusieurs personnes qui suivaient Céline en tournée, je n'étais pas bien équipée pour ce sport. Elle nous a amenés dans une boutique spécialisée et nous a acheté tous les accessoires que nous désirions ! 

À la fin du spectacle qu'elle a donné au Centre Molson pour célébrer le passage à l'an 2000, Céline m'a offert un témoignage que je noublierai jamais. Elle est venue nous voir, Julie Leblanc et moi, et nous a dit : "Merci les filles d'avoir toujours été là. Je sais que ces derniers temps, on n'a pas vraiment eu la chance de se parler parce que j'étais très occupée, mais je veux vous dire que je vous aime beaucoup." Ce n'était plus la vedette qui était là, devant nous, mais l'amie qui nous parlait, simplement..."
