Beware—eBay thief alert

This is a friendly warning to any Ebay or Yahoo Auction dealers. 

 

I have been ripped of by this person and would like to warn others.

 

The Ship to name and address was:

 

Celine Font

7 Chemin De La Croix Berthet

Oullins Rhone Alpes

France

69600

 

Her paypal account also had the name Mlle Font instead of Celine Font.

 

She used two different emails (which should have set off an alarm for me but didn’t).

 

[email protected] (registered eBay Email)

[email protected] (Registered Paypal Email)

 

eBay ID was:  cheminsdumonde

 

This was a new user with zero feedback and no history.  I would imagine she changes the ID every time she gets caught.

 

She knows the loophole in paypal.  If a seller ships to an unconfirmed address and then the buyer files a claim…. Paypal always awards the case to the seller.  Why?  Because the rules say:  “If a seller ships to an unconfirmed address then the seller accepts the responsibility of their actions and payapl will NOT insure the transaction against theft”.

 

I trusted her and shipped her the auction.

 

My trust was misplaced.
