Soundtrack - Back
To Titanic "Titanic"
is back. No, it's not a sequel to the movie, but a sequel to the soundtrack, called
"Back To Titanic". Through the integration of many different elements, James
Cameron turned his story of the "unsinkable" ship into an unsinkable
entertainment phenomenon. One of the key elements to the film's success was the musical
score composed by James Horner. The album "Back To Titanic" features many
sections of the score that were not included on the first soundtrack as well as Celine
Dion's performance of "My Heart Will Go On". |

Soundtrack -
Titanic "Titanic"
is James Cameron's epic drama that portrays a timeless love story against the backdrop of
the Titanic's ill-fated maiden voyage. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet,
Billy Zane, David Warner, Kathy Bates and a great big boat. Cameron set out to create a
look and a feel that were more genuine than many so-called "period" pieces. To
that end, he enlisted the services of composer James Horner to write a score that would
support and complement the story. The soundtrack album also includes the single "My
Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. |

Trisha Yearwood -
Where Your Road Leads Trisha
Yearwood was making history from her first album. It was the first time a debut by a
female country artist sold over a million copies. On the album "Where Your Road
Leads", the Grammy-winning singer takes a more hands-on approach, acting as
co-producer. Yearwood says, "It was a wonderful challenge. I was in the studio for
every decision, all the way through the mix and the mastering. I learned so much about the
process, about the choices to be made along the way. If I become more and more involved
with every record, they will express more and more of what I'm about." |

Sarah McLachlan -
Surfacing Sarah
McLachlan was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1968 and soon began taking lessons in voice,
guitar and piano. She began performing in bands while still a teenager and then hit it big
in Canada as a solo artist. Even so, it was a few more years before she gained
international popularity for her honest, melodic songwriting. About her album
"Surfacing", McLachlan says, "Surfacing is about me finally growing up and
facing ugly things about myself. We all have a dark side; it's (nonsense) to say that we
don't. At some point we're going to have to face that." |

Savage Garden -
Savage Garden While
performing in the local bars of Brisbane, Australia, instrumentalist Daniel Jones met
singer Darren Hayes. While the two had rather different personalities, they did share a
common enthusiasm for music. They decided to form the duo Savage Garden and immediately
set to work writing and recording songs. Their complementary talents led to success in
their native country and an international deal to release their self-titled album. Their
songs blend funk guitars and electronic sounds with a broad pop sensibility reminiscent of
the '80's but looking toward the future. |

Natalie Imbruglia
- Left Of The Middle Natalie
Imbruglia grew up in Australia, and as a young child she immersed herself in dance

break into the entertainment business when she got hired for the cast of the Australian
soap opera "Neighbours". After she left the show and moved to London, she found
that her real passion was for singing and writing songs. She got the chance to go to Los
Angeles and record her debut "Left Of The Middle", an album that benefits from

Third Eye Blind -
Third Eye Blind With
Stephan Jenkins on vocals, Kevin Cadogan on guitar, Arion Salazar on bass and Brad
Hargreaves on drums, Third Eye Blind offers their own powerful and catchy brand of modern
rock. Although the songwriting is chiefly handled by Jenkins and Cadogan, they always
leave room for songs to develop and metamorphose once the entire band begins working on
new material. About the songs on their self-titled debut, Salazar says, "I think the
album takes you to a place you might be wary of entering, but are curious about." |

N'Sync - N'Sync Although they each grew up in different parts of
the United States, the five members of N'Sync came together in Orlando, Florida. Lance
Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake all had been singing
and dancing since they were very young, but when they formed the group N'Sync, they knew
they had something. Oddly enough, this American group first became popular in Europe, but
now N'Sync is starting to draw attention from all over the world with its self-titled
album of R&B and dance-pop. |

Semisonic - Feeling Strangely Fine Hailing from Minneapolis, the band Semisonic is made up of Dan Wilson (lead
vocal, guitar), John Munson (bass) and Jacob Slichter (drums). On their album
"Feeling Strangely Fine", Semisonic create more shimmering rock and roll with
meaningful lyrics. Wilson says, "The band wanted this record to be an intimate
message from the singer to the listener. Love is sacred and life is sacred and no matter
how much bull**** you have to go through, we all possess a well of hope inside of us that
can't be killed. And I can't imagine that's a meaningless thing." |
