The curtain opened, applause broke out
Appearing on stage was the diva herself
In a gown of ice-blue silk, she carried out
Carried out her duty, as a goddess of song
She opened her mouth and out poured a voice
a voice that launched a thousands ships
Her majestic voice rang through the entire hall
which might have made the crowd rejoice
But no, her fans were as well behaved as churchgoers
Indeed they were true believers of that chatedral of hers
Bathed in this soft rapture, one member of the faithful
exclaimed "We love you!" but so discreetly that she could not hear him
It was a prayer, needed to be expressed to the deity in the limelight
There was no reply required that night
Still, the crowd responded to her theatrical expression
with an almost too muted reverence
When she finished her song, the crowd could not stop
they stood up and cheered for her, full of laudation
She bowed and smiled with tears of joy
the Diva whose name, was Celine Dion.

Angel's wings are beautiful things
Just like a peaceful dove
So spread your wings
and be with the one's you love
Angel's feet so soft and sweet
Like the clouds upon your head
