Celine Dion was born as Celine Marie Claudette Dion to her parents Therese and Adhemar Dion. She was the youngest of 14 children. They all lived in a small house in the town of Charlemange, Quebec. |

Celine recorded her 1st demo at home. Her mother and brother Jacques wrote and put the song to music, it was called Ce n'etait qu'un reve *..and the accents do not work.* The tape was then sent to Rene Angelil, a well know talent manager. Hearing the tape, Rene then called the Dion's house and arranged a meeting with Celine right away. Celine was just 12 years old, but knew her life would be changed for ever. |

Celine had become one of Quebecs biggest stars. She found more she wanted. One thing being an English album. She went to school and could speak English in just 2 months. She and Rene soon set up for her 1st album; Unison. |

As time goes on, Celine becomes more and more popular. Wining awards and big money never changed the Diva. She was ready to settle down and have a family when she was called to sing the love theme from the movie "Titanic." The song as you all know was called "MY Heart Will Go On." Celine's dreams of a family would have to wait for now, she was getting into another album, and another world tour. |

As the tour goes on, Celine and Rene learn Rene has cancer. Wanting to stop, Celine goes with Rene's wishes and trys her best to finish the tour. She then feels a break is in need, and plans to stop. Her final concert was December 31st, 1999 in Montreal. It was a hard goodbye, but also a great hello. Celine said goodbye with "All The Way: A Decade of Song," her last CD for a while. |

Celine and Rene had their 1st child; a sweet baby boy named Rene-Charles on January 25th, 2001. Now, almost a year old, his mother plans to return to us all by a new album called "A New Day Has Come," and concerts in Vegas planed to last everynight for 3 years... |
