This painting of a Coopers Hawk was my first commission and
so a little nerve-wracking to paint, particularly as I only had a couple of
small images in books to work from.
It was painted for a lady who was instrumental in stopping a garbage dump
being established in an utterly unsuitable location near Stirling.
