This is the completed pen and ink and watercolour painting. It represents hours of work and much enjoyment - just watching two beautiful horses come alive is worth all the effort.
It really is fun painting on the watercolour coat (so much less stressful than the ink work) and the picture comes together so quickly.
The greatest thing about this particular work is that when I put it in a show visitors felt the urge to pat the horses' noses !
Unfortunately, I sold this painting and rather wish that I hadn't. I guess I'll just have to paint another like it.......
