"Almost Winter" is one of my favourite paintings.
It went well from the initial idea to the finish and it was fun to paint,
as well (note the ladybird in the bottom right hand corner).
I actually painted it for a Belleville Art Association show and I believe
it won an honourable mention. It was sold as a retirement gift.
