Firearms Expert
You know the type, the guy with the guns.  Always loaded and ready and for action, the firearms expert is a bit of too anachronistic for a typical fantasy world.  But in a more modern game or one where there just happen to be firearms, there are those who devote themselves to these cutting edge weapons.
     Most firearms experts are fighters or rogues.  Bards are also a possibility as are martial clerics of technology. Barbarians, druids, monks, rangers, sorcerers, and wizards seldom take this prestige class.  A paladin who takes up the gun is rare but has been known to happen.
     NPC firearms experts are usually loners or gather in small groups.  Occasionally a nation may form whole units of firearms experts but this is very rare.

Prerequisites:
To qualify to become a firearms expert, a character must fulfill all of the following criteria.
    
Alchemy 4 ranks
    
Spot 4 ranks
    Base Attack Bonus: +5
    
Feats: Exotic Weapon Proficiency (firearms), Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Rapid Reload, Weapon Focus (a specific firearm)

Skills:
The firearms expert�s class skills are Alchemy (Int), Craft (Int), Jump (Str), Ride (Dex), Spot (Wis), Swim (Str) and Tumble (Dex).

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the firearms expert prestige class.
    
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A firearms expert is proficient with all simple weapons, firearms, and light armor.
    
Always Loaded (Ex): At 1st level, the firearms expert has through countless drills
    
Ranged Sneak Attack (Ex): Starting at 2nd level, any time a firearms expert�s target would be denied his Dexterity bonus to AC, the firearms expert�s ranged sneak attack does extra damage.  This extra damage is +1d6 at 2nd level and increases by +1d6 every two levels after that.  Ranged attacks only count as sneak attack if within 30 feet.  This stacks with a rogue�s sneak attack.
    
Close Combat Shot (Ex): At 3rd level, a firearms expert can attack with a firearm in a threatened area and no longer draw an attack of opportunity.
    
Bonus Feat: At 5th and 9th level, the firearms expert gains an additional feat.  This feat must be chosen from the list below: Dodge, Mobility, Far Shot, Rolling Shot, Sharp Shooting, Shot on the Run, and Weapon Focus
    
Superior Weapon Focus (Ex): At 7th level, a firearms expert gains an additional +1 bonus to attack with any firearm.
