With their viper like fangs they can take down the most powerful creatures. Viper cats look like over grown house cats. They tend to be about 3 feet long and about 28 pounds of muscle and bone. Their coats range from dark purple to straw colored. Their most distinctive feature is their extremely long sharp canines, which may be as long as 6 inches long. Combat Viper cat attacks come in two varieties quick and lingering. In most cases the cat will bite its foe once and lets its wounding ability do the rest. If this doesnt work then it will do a series of hit and run attacks until the victim collapses from blood loss. Wounding (Ex): Viper cats exude a substance in their saliva that slows blood from clotting. When an individual takes damage from a bite, it will continue to bleed from that wound at the rate of 1 hit point a round. A successful Heal check (DC 15) or application healing magic will stop the bleeding. Otherwise there is a 10% chance per round that the bleeding stops. Skills: The viper cat receives a +4 racial bonus to Hide and Move Silently checks. |
