| Shadow Imprint (Template) When you want a job done right do it yourself. That said, a villain usually cannot be everywhere. This template makes it possible to fix that. Shadow Imprint is a template that can be applied to any humanoid or monstrous humanoid. This being (the base creature) is used to make a shadowy duplicate whose type is construct. The copy is a poorer version and has only half (at most) the HD and levels of the original. The actual creation process require a 14th level arcane spellcaster who must cast geas/quest, greater shadow conjuration, polymorph any object, limited wish and simulacrum. It also requires the expenditure of 2,000 gp per HD (Max HD is half the caster level or half the subjects level which ever is less) and 250 XP. When destroyed the shadow imprint implodes as its internal shadow nature evaporates. The remaining shadow shards quickly disintegrate. Hit Dice: Change to d10 Speed: Increase by 1 � AC: Natural armor increases to +4 if not already higher Attacks: Gain the ability to make a claw attack (1d4) Abilities: Str +2, Dex +2, and as a construct, the creature has no Constitution. Special attacks: Same as the base creature. Special Qualities: Same as the base creature plus the construct type and telepathic link. Telepathic Link (Su): the shadow imprint has a permanent telepathic link to the original creature (if still alive). This allows it to send and receive messages or be remote controlled anywhere on the same plane. Skills: Same as the base creature. The creature receives a +8 racial bonus to Hide.
