Often the people of these lands were forced to bury their dead quickly in mass graves sometimes without even a burial ritual. Plague dead are the animated remains of these mass graves. They are they entwined skeletons that move as one massive whole. Their many eyes glow red with insane hatred. They usually can speak Common in moans and cries of pain. Combat The plague dead usually lashes out with its powerful fists crushing its foes and leaving the survivors to suffer its cruel fate. Sometimes it will use its disease touch against a weaker foe and leave it to infect others. Disease Touch (Su): Plague dead possess a supernaturally virulent disease. Upon being struck by a slam attack, the victim must make a Fortitude save (DC 20) or be effected by a contagion as cast by a 10th level cleric. This disease inflicted is the same as whatever killed those who make up the plague dead. Divine Resistance (Ex): Plague dead particularly detest those who could have saved them. They gain a +4 morale bonus to save against divine spells. All-Around Vision (Ex): Plague dead are exceptionally alert. Their many heads give them a +4 racial bonus to Spot checks, and they can�t be flanked. |
