Mind fungus is a blend of monster and disease.  Spreading from host to host, they slowly devour their victim�s mind and life, turning him into a fungal zombie.
     The average mind fungus is resembles a fist-sized lump covered in greenish hair.  Various tendrils and moss like substances extend from this lump but are inconsequential to the creature.  The lump houses a slimy brain like organ and the spore cases.
     Mind fungi communicate telepathically.

Combat
Mind fungus attack either by infecting a creature with spores (if not hungry or dying) or else using its host and psionic powers to kill the threat (for nourishment).
    Psionics (Sp): At will-biocurrent and brain lock.  Attack/Defense Modes-psychic crush/empty mind.
    Spores (Ex): Once per day, a mind fungus can release a cloud of spores in a 5-foot radius about the creature.  All except for fungal zombies and mind fungi, must make a Fortitude save (DC 20) or be infected with mind fungus. Treat this as a disease except that there is no saving throw to avoid ability damage.  The onset time is one day with 1d3 points of Constitution damage a day.  The symptoms are weakness, unusual hunger, and the growth of greenish fuzz on the body. Additionally for every 3 points of constitution lost (from the original amount), one mind fungus lump will grow out of the victim�s skin.       Any being killed by mind fungus becomes a fungal zombie.  This has the same statistics as a normal zombie but is not treated as plant type instead of undead for the purpose of spells and turning.  A fungal zombie is totally dominated by its attached mind fungi.
 
  Host (Ex): Due to its diminutive size and close link, mind fungus can use a host�s Reflex save instead of its own.  It can also apply its host Dex bonus or penalty to its AC instead of its own Dexterity modifier.
   
Blindsight (Su/Ex): Through a mixture of psionic awareness and sensitivity to vibration, a mind fungus can sense creatures within 60 feet.  If unable to use its psionic powers, treat it as having the Blindfight feat.
 
  Telepathy (Su): A mind fungus can communicate with any creature within 100 feet with telepathy.
    
Plant: Mind fungi are immune to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, and polymorphing. They are not subject to critical hits or mind-influencing effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects).
