Giant slugs are huge omnivorous mutations of normal garden slugs.  They are identical in appearance to normal slugs other than their size (25 feet long or more).

Combat
Giant slugs usually soften up an opponent with some acid spittle before mauling the creature with its powerful jaws.

Acid Spit (Ex): Every round a giant slug can release a glob of acid that does 6d8 damage (or 6 points of splash damage) if a ranged touch is made (+5 ranged touch).  The acid globule has a range of 100 feet with no range increment.  Giant slugs are immune to their own acid.

Immunities (Ex): A giant slug takes no damage from blunt weapons or critical hits due to its rubbery hide and lack of discernable organs.

Vermin: The giant slug is immune to all mind-influencing effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns and morale effects).

GMs Commentary:
The giant slug is one of those monsters I always wanted to use in 2nd edition and it seemed a shame that it wasnt converted over.  There should be more giant animals to terrorize adventurers.
