Cave Cricket
A cave cricket is a common feature of long abandoned dungeons, caverns, and the Underdark.  Ranging in size from six inches to six feet, these creatures often serve as a good source of provisions in subterranean areas.  These creatures feed on otherwise inedible fungi.
These creatures have hit dice, AC, and speed as shown below.  All possess blindsight to a range of 30 feet as well as the vermin type. They have a Listen and Spot of +8.
Size                  Hit Dice                   Spd                    AC
Diminutive          d8 (1 hp)              30 ft.                  16 (+4 size, +2 Dex)
Tiny                   d8 (2 hp)              40 ft.                  14 (+2 size, +2 Dex)
Small                1d8 (4 hp)                50 ft.                  14 (+1 size, +2 Dex, +1 natural)
Medium            2d8 (9 hp)                60 ft.                  14 (+1 Dex, +3 natural)

For meal purposes, a Diminutive cave cricket is good for a snack or half a meal, while a Tiny cricket is worth a meal.  A Small cave cricket can be made into 4 meals and a Medium-Size cricket can be made into 16 meals. The taste has been described as
interesting
