| Adventure Seed: Tortured Images This is an adventure involving a PC psion though it could easily be used involving a friendly NPC. Best set after some horrific event, what occurred is that the psion�s own nightmares animate and terrorize the local area. Treat the nightmares as constructs of the maximum level a shaper of the psion�s power could create, except that they have a special fear power. This ability acts as the scare as manifested by a psion of the construct�s hit dice (save DC 10). But the creator of these images suffers a �10 circumstance penalty to this save due to their personal nature. The tortured images will usually wander away from the slumbering psion and cause havoc elsewhere, perhaps spawn new images from the local population. |
