| Book of the Secret Death This slender book was written by a renowned poisoner some two centuries ago to contain her secret formulas. It is an unassuming book with a blue-black cover and crisp white pages. Unfortunately the writer intended to take her secrets to the grave and anyone perusing the book is subject to a contact poison (Fort DC 24, initial damage 2d6 Con, secondary damage 2d6 Con). The book resists neutralize poison and in any case the poison becomes potent again in 24 hours. The book is also written in code though this is a small matter. The book grants a +10 circumstance bonus to Craft (poison making) (or Alchemy rolls for the purposes of making poison). It also contains formulas for making most common poisons as well as the formula for the poison coating the book (2,000 gp in raw materials, Craft DC 36).
