Only sorcerers, wizards, and adepts may use the spider. For all others it is simply an ornate piece of glass. When in use it acts as a tiny construct of hardness 1. It can deliver touch attacks for a caster if he or she is within 130 feet. Also it relays all it sees and hears to its owner if he or she is within one mile. Legends mention ruby spiders with poisoned fangs or that could climb walls. There also stories of floating daggers and metal balls that possess similar powers.
