Russ is the manager and bartender at Illusions, a dance club and juice-bar. This is the most profitable of the businesses that the Gangrel Primogen controls and Russ makes the decisions about almost everything that goes on inside. He hires the DeeJays, cooks, and does all of the business with the food comanies that supply the goods they have at Illusions.

He is also a go-between for the street kids and the Norwegian, making sure that the kids get their vouchers for groceries and have a way to contact Suneyva in case of emergency or other difficulties.

Though he is considered to be somewhat "hip" by the older teens and young twenty-somethings, they don't know very much about him outside of his interests that they may share.
