Julianna in her own words:
"Greetings one and all, I am the Lady Julianna, Childe of the Valkyrie Suneyva. Why don't you stay for a bit and hear my story? I promise you that this will not bore you too much.
I was born in the year 1587, in England. My family was landed aristocrats and my father the Duke of Ernchester. He was a man of minor influence, and not much wealth, but we had the family lands.
As a girl I was not allowed much in the way of opportunity. I only was provided with a severely limited education; enough to be a mother and wife, but not to pursue my own interests in the sciences. I wanted to study, to read, and experiment on my own. My brother tried to help me with those goals, helping me improve my reading skills and later lending books to me when no one else was around. My other goals were not to be realized however, and though I longed to travel and see the world it was forbidden.
Other women were allowed to do such things of course, but my father disapproved. He punished me when I was found reading. And when he could finally arrange a "successful" marriage for me he did; promising me to a man older than himself.
The only thing that saved me was a barbarian Norwegian, masquerading as a princess. It was Suneyva; traveling through England to visit Garou allies in Scotland. She was in my parents home on the night before I was to be married and she stole me off in the early hours of the morning before anyone knew. I have blessed her in my heart everyday since.
It was not easy to change from lady to Gangrel, but it eventually happened. I was training with Suneyva for almost ten years before she thought I was ready to move again, from Scandinavia to Scotland to visit with the Garou tribe she had alliances with, and then later to the New World. We became colonists in the Americas.
We didn't stay in the colonies for very long, moving to live in the western frontier, steadily moving further every time civilazation started encroaching on our territories. We lived with the Native Americans and the Garou; learning and providing what strength we could in the wild areas.
I enjoyed the lands untamed by white men and learned many things from the peoples we dwelled amoung; shapeshifting became like second nature to me for a while back then. Little changed as we adopted Jesse into our family, but the lands were becoming filled with the decendants of the Europeans. Times were changing as they say. It didn't stay the clean, free land that I loved...and our friends were being hunted down. We tried to help the Garou of this land and to defend the territories of the Native Americans but we were two, sometimes three, against too many.
We left eventually, moving across the United States several times in our search for a Haven worth fighting for again. Gothik has been the best choice we've had thus far. I am able to work towards environmental protection and help protect the children Suneyva desperately wishes to save. And I have once again become her link to the higher culture of the locals."
Note: Julianna is officially missing, a claim made by the Gangrel Primogen Suneyva Loeste. Suneyva is the only one who really knows what happened to Julianna Margot however.
