Entering the Zoo one must go through the first obstacle. That is the gate. Actually it is usually left open during the night. Closed and electrified during the daylight hours so that unnecessary visitors are kept away. This land, the several blocks that it encompasses, is Elysium in the city. It is a safe place and to violate that safety of the citizens of the night is to break numerous rules of the Kindred. However, it is also the Haven of the Gangrel Primogen and she has been known to break the rules herself when it has been agreed upon by the Prince.

There are several buildings visible and these are the main parts of the Zoo. The entrance that is across from the Public Library is at the end of the Complex. This is the original Zoo, that is crossed by a river, and contains the medical annex and other out buildings important to the care and support of large and small animals.

The main building of this Complex is off to the side, to the middle of the property. Both for protection and for the privacy. This is the house the family lives in the most often. It was once part of a private estate, but Suneyva acquired the land and buildings soon after moving to Gothik decades before. It has been renovated inside in order to add technology within the buildings, but the family has tried to keep the original antiques in the best order. Suneyva does not like cheap modern furniture.

The medical annex is the other really important building in the Complex. A lot of work goes on inside the building and so the medical facility is still operational. This is not only where the first aid work goes on though, interrogations, beatings, and the planning of strategy also goes on within the walls.

Some parts of the Zoo Complex are not as visible as others. The extensive gardens and the sculptures found around the property have been deveopled as Julianna has wished. She chose the designs and these are more her areas than her Sire's. This gate is behind the main house and leads past the main statue, a tower that replicates one found in Olso, designed by Gustav Vigeland. This is a place of ritual for the family.

Suneyva, still Viking at heart if nothing else, still follows the beliefs of her people. Julianna, though raised Catholic, has turned away from the faith, but wanted the place for Suneyva to complete the rituals to Odin and the Norse Pantheon.

The gardens are an important part of the design Julianna has come up with. It has taken many years to get things the way she wants, and there is still work going on. They are nearly to her satisfation though. This gate is at the beginning of the path leading into the gardens. These are quiet places in which the Kindred and their allies can relax for some small amount of time; forgetting the city for a bit of time.

The grounds are cared for by special retainers but no mere mortals are allowed within. This is a safe place.

There is a place outside of the city that is also called Haven for Suneyva and her family. The cabin, which is located on Lake Canora, is in the mountains near Gothik. It is a place to escape the problems of the city, and often used just by Jesse and Paul in order to get some privacy from the women. The view from the cabin shows a large plot of land that was gifted to Suneyva by Price Malcolm DeLarch in 1997, across the lake from her cabin, she can even say that she owns a mountain now.
