Melody of Jenny consist of three short stories. All these three stories has the setting of Japan during World War II.
The first story started with a woman in the field farming. The whole village are only left with woman and children because all the able men in the village are been summoned to the army to fight for the country. Shunping who is just a 16 year old teenager had decide to go to the war in place of his sick father. Shunping was trained asa pilot but with a sinister purposes...
The second story is melody of Jenny. This is the story of an American prisoner of war who had escape, who had a Japanese wife and children. When on the way to Tokyo, he met a group of children who is also on the way to Toyko and a special friendship develops....
