| The story starts with homicide of many 18 year-old girls. All the victims have a cresent birthmark on any parts of their body. Their death cause are loss of blood as all their blood are sucked dry like the work of a vampire. On a night out to a disco, Lina met this very cool man, Fang Zhunsheng (from Chang tribe) who had wore an eye mask. But on her way home, she witness the murder of her friend who had a cresent birthmark on her thigh. The murderer (vampire) is Zhunsheng. This starts the nightmare for Lina as Zhunsheng next target is her in order to silence her. Zhunsheng has some kind of extraordinary power that are able to controlled normal human being. Things got even worse for Lina after she realize that she had this big cresent birthmark on her forehead that appears and disappear on its own. Zhunsheng isolated Lina one night in an attempt to kill her but he started to realize that the trees around her house was protecting her. Therefore Zhunsheng thought that Lina belongs to the same tribe as well. |
| Things happened in such a way that her mother was killed by a woman from the Chang tribe in an attempt to prove Lina's ability. But before Lina's mother death, she told Lina to go to Mount Fuji to break the spell of the Fei tribe as she is the "head" of the tribe. This starts a series of battle between the two tribes. The Chang tribe are people who feed on normal people, and are very powerful. But they had a main weakness towards bacteria and may just disintegrate upon contact. Whereas the Fei tribe are people who are more "friendly" and they are close to trees and other plant. They also have healing abilities. As normal girls comics, Lina and Zhunsheng fall in love. But when the Chang thraits overtook Zhunsheng, he became ruthless, he did not even recognise Lina. Zhunsheng started to destroy everything around him in a madness. In the end........Lina wanted them to die together. But when Zhunsheng had regain a bit of consciousness, he stopped Lina and die alone Comment: I did not know how to describe the ending properly. But this is the first few manga that I had read. I cry at the end of the story as I cannot accept sad endings at that time. 4 books in all |
