| Lai Bao is a very simple and hardworking girl. She had two younger brothers and a sickly mother. Her father had passed away when she is very young. Therefore, in order to lessen the burden of her mother as well as to help out in supporting the family, Lai Bao works part-time afetr school. As usual, she works till late at night in a supermarket, she is very gladful that her boss also her to bring home some unsold leftovers as it will become meals for the family. One night, on her way home, she had met n injured man. She wanted to scream for help as she is afraid but was threatened by the man, so Lai Bao remained silent. She saw several men running about searching for the injured man. When the injured man became sick and on the verge of fainting, Lai Bao saw the chance to escape. Instaed of running away, Lai Bao brings the man home to dress his wound. That man is Hei Long. Hei Long left her house when Lai Bao is still sleeping and Lai Bao never seen him since but only knows that Hei Long has a dragon birthmark on his left temple |
| One day afetr school, Lai Bao was kidnapped and was made unconsious. When she finally woke up, she saw herself on a plane and met Hei Long. Hei Long is bringing her to Hong Kong as a way of repaying her for saving him. The actual story starts from here.... Heilong is the leader of one of the largest gang in Hong Kong. When Lai Bao wanted to return to Japan as she feels that it is the end between the two of them and she miss her family, Heilong did not allow for that... Comment: This is the third series of Shinjo Mayu that I owned. I did not understand why but the author enjoys having an ordinary girl as the main lead and pair her up with a very influential man...
