Badrandirbar, Goleador, Quentari/Tyrangel Border
We are finally leaving Quentari after our two weeks of staying at home. We had so much to tell about what is going on. They were much surprised to hear of the new county of Greyhelm, and its Count, Kelovar Wyndham.

Count Wyndham, I am happy to say, is over-all a very good man and he will do well, for all that he does not just do things that make sense. I understand that he must follow the laws set by his king. He must be an example to all of his people, but he should not be so worried about using people. {For example, I would have set up a treaty of sorts with the gang of bandits known as the Red Tigers. He, however, felt it was the proper thing to sentence them. Which resulted in a fight, and the death of two or three of the bandits.}

The Elders were slightly worried about the treaty Count Wyndham has negotiated with the neighboring Dremorans. Yet again, I understand that he is doing what he believes right, but it just makes me uneasy. There are several hundreds of dark elves living in that city, and after the males began to revolt against their "female oppressors" I do not think it wise to go near the city, let alone be allied to them.

The matter of the drakoliche, Traegor, was discussed, but not at much length. The Elders decided it best to watch and wait. Ami and I shared what we  had experienced in the underground city during and after the ritual used to bring Traegor back to semblance of life. I do not think they were very happy that we did not know exactly how he was brought back...

Other than those few itmes of interest {we decided it was safer not to mention any "lessons"} we only needed to take a few of Nimindil's old belongings. The Lady Akoya told me that it would be easier to search for Nim if she had something that had belonged to her. So we are bringing an old necklace that she used to really like. Other than that, I could not find anything else that belonged to my sister.

We are reaching the Otiket River and we need to find a way across. It has been raining heavily and the river has swollen beyond the banks.
