| THE LAW OF POWER |
| 1. The Power shall not be used to bring harm, to injure or control others. But if the need arises, the Power shall be used to protect your life or the lives of others. 2. The Power is only used as need dictates. 3. The Power can be used for personal gain, as long as you harm none. 4. It is unwise to accept money for Power. Be not those of other religions. 5. Don't use the Power for prideful gain. 6. Ever remember the Power is a gift from the goddess and god, don't abuse it. 7. And this is the Law of Power. |
| HOW TO GAIN PERSONAL POWER |
| Everyone has personal power. It's flowing through your veins as we speak. You just have to learn how to tap into that power and send it into objects for its use. Power in general has receptive and projective properties, so you need something to project or receive power. If you are right handed, your left hand is your receptive hand and your right hand is you projective hand. This is reversed if you are left handed. If you are ambidextrous, you may use either hand interchangeably. Personal power can be built up by tensing all your muscles in your body (this may cause you to shake a bit, don't be alarmed, it's perfectly normal) Visualize your power, be it whatever color you wish, as a glowing ball at your heart. As you tenses all your muscles, see that ball grow and grow. when you believe you are ready, visualize this powerball moving through your projective hand and into whatever object you are holding. Relax yourself. You may find that after a spell, you are rather tired. This is from all the energy and power being transferred from your body into other things. I suggest that afterwards you relax, read a book or eat some food. Taking and nap always helps as well. |
| FIND YOUR MAGICK WORD |
| Take a dictionary & place it in your lap Close your eyes; move the dictionary around so that it may be upside down, sideways or facing up! Move it around until you feel the need to stop, you should not know which way it is facing! Keeping your eyes closed; all the while, open the book ; flick though it until you get the urge to stop at a particular page, let your finger roam about the page until again you get the felling that you should stop, keep your finger steady. The word that is directly under your finger is your own exclusive Magick Word! Say your magick word several times every morning upon wakening & you will set up positive vibrations for the day ahead. Also, before playing any games of chance, repeat your word over & ;over again (does nt have to be out loud!), the results may surprise you! |

| Extend your right index finger and lightly touch the wrist of the person exactly where the pulse is felt. by touching the pulse it throws the acquaintance completely off his balance for just an instant,but in that instant plant an initial thought, ( example : I am the one you want for the job ) |
| HOW TO PURIFY ITEMS FOR MAGICKAL PURPOSES |
| Some people call this consecrating &, some call itpurifying; some call i cleansing;. It is always better to do this to get rid of any influences from others that the item may be holding, as we all leave energies on everything that we touch! Also, never let any other person handle any items you have designated for magickal purposes, if they do, then purify the items again! I will describe here the method for purification that I recommend, as it is relatively straight forward. You will need - a White candle, incense (myrrh or patchouli), a bowl of water & a bowl of salt. Method - Light the candle &; the incense. Cover the item that you wish to purify in the salt & place your right hand over the bowl ( use your left if you're left-handed ) & imagine a white light emanating from your palm passing through the bowl, eliminating all the negative energies as it passes through. Now say out loud - Blessed Lord & Lady, with fire, water, salt & smoke, I consecrate this in thy name, let it serve me well. Now, remove the item from the salt & shake off all the grains of salt from it. Pass the item through the incense smoke, sprinkle it with water, and then pass it through the flame of the candle. Your item is now ready to be used for magickal purposes. |
| HOW TO CHARGE AN ITEM FOR MAGICKAL PURPOSES |
| After you have consecrated or purified an item to be used for a magickal purpose, then it is better to Charge it, as this increases the effectiveness & power of the item. Hold the item over your head, pause for a moment to feel the universal energies surrounding you & say out loud -; Let the sacred powers of the universe unite, &; fill this ( say the name of the item you are holding here, ) with energy, By the Moon, the Sun, the Earth & the Stars, I charge this ( again, say the name of the item, ) to do my will. | MAGICK DIARY |
| This will help you awaken your inner magick! This is to be done on a Monday after nightfall. You will need - a NEW empty Notebook, a blue pen. Take a bath or a shower to cleanse yourself, after which, dress yourself in comfortable loose clothes. Find a quiet place where you will be totally undisturbed until you complete this. Place the notebook & pen on a table & sit before it. Relax yourself the best that you can ; visualize a White light surrounding you, radiating peace happiness. Open you eyes & open the notebook at its first page. Draw a square or rectangle using the pen onto this first page. Stare at the shape you have drawn & visualize the shape as a doorway that is opening up allowing you to step through it. See yourself stepping through this doorway into a bright sunny garden, full of bright plants & flowers, feel yourself happy there. Stay there in the garden a few moments, letting happiness & wonder surround you. After a little while, say the following words -;To the left & right of me, Above & below me, I awaken the spirit of nature &; magick within me. When you feel ready to come back from this magickal place, visualize yourself walking back through the doorway ; back to the present. Close the notebook & say the following -; I am a wonderful child of the Universe, & so will it be. You can now write My magickal diary on the front if you wish, to remind you of it's purpose. Use this notebook only to write spells or wishes in ; not anything else! |
