| No Difference |
| Small as a peanut, Big as a giant, We're all the same size When we turn off the light. Rich as a sultan, Poor as a mite, We're all worth the same When we turn off the light. Red, black or orange, Yellow or white, We all look the same When we turn off the light. So maybe the way To make everything right Is for God to just reach out And turn off the light! | By Shel Silverstein |
| Shel Silverstein died in 1999 of a massive heart attack. He was one of the best loved poets that lived. His poems provoked the minds of millions of children, and made thousands of adults laugh. "No Difference" is a poem that tells us what we should think about when met with a person who is different than us. It teaches us to judge a person by their personality and mind, and not their apperance. |
