Young Again

 

Intro- As for the original ages of the Digidestined, I think that T.K. is seven, Izzy is nine, Tai is twelve, Mimi is twelve, Sora is thirteen, Matt is fourteen and Joe is fourteen.

 

T.K., Matt, Izzy, Tai, Sora, Joe and Mimi were walking along the in the forest of the Digiworld when they come across this weird machine shaped like a giant toaster.  Their Digimon had been captured again by Leomon. 

“What’s that?” Tai asked stupidly.

“Shut-up, Tai,” Matt said in his smarter, cooler, better voice.  “It looks like a toaster.”

“Maybe we can make toast!” exclaimed Mimi.  “I DO love toast!”

“No, that would not be possible.” observed Izzy.  “I do not see any bread.”

“We must FIND some!” Tai said stupidly.

“Tai!  Go find some bread!” Matt commanded, and with that, Tai left.

Sora began knocking on the metal side.  “Hm,” she said, rubbing her chin.  “This is very weird.”  She walked off into the woods after Tai.  All of a sudden, the toaster sucked them into its slots and spit them back out.  Tai returned.

“Matt?  Where are you?  I couldn’t find any bread!  Matt?” he yelled.  A little seven-year-old boy with blonde hair wearing a green shirt jumped in front of him.

“I’m right here, Tai!” he yelled.

“Go away, T.K., I’m looking for Matt.” Said Tai, pushing him aside.  It was then that Tai noticed all of his friends.  T.K., Mimi, and Izzy were all there… only little.

“I’m not T.K.!  I’m Matt!” he yelled.

“How come you’re so little?” asked Tai. Mimi started giggling.

“I am NOT little!” Matt yelled at the top of his lungs.

“Little baby Matt!” Mimi yelled, giggling.

“This must be one of Leomon’s traps!” said Tai, stupidly.

“Leomon?” said Mimi.

“Never mind!” said Tai.  All of a sudden, a baby started crying.  They all turned to see Izzy, a two-year-old, playing with T.K., a baby.  Matt ran over to them.

“Why’s he crying?” said Izzy, patting T.K.’s head.  Matt snatched T.K. up into his arms.

“He’s MY little brother!” he said.  Izzy started crying too.  Mimi came over to the two crying kids.

“What happened over here?” said Mimi in a bossy voice.  “Can I hold the little baby?” she said, reaching out for T.K.  Matt swung his body around.

“NO!  He’s MY brother!” said Matt.  Mimi pleaded with Matt.

“Please?  Only for a minute?” she said.

“NO!” said Matt.  Mimi started crying.  Tai came over.

“Matt, give me the baby.” Tai commanded.

“NO!  You can’t tell me what to do!” Matt said.  Tai grabbed T.K. and pulled him roughly out of Matt’s hands.  Matt started crying and hitting Tai.  “Give me back my brother!  You’re hurting him!” he wailed.

“No, I have to get him to stop crying!” said Tai, rocking him roughly.  T.K.’s wails got louder than Matt’s, Izzy’s and Mimi’s put together.  Sora heard them and ran back to where they were before to see a strange sight.  There was Tai holding a screaming baby, with what looked like T.K. screaming at him to give HIM the baby and a miniature version of Izzy sitting on the ground rubbing his eyes and crying with Mimi’s little clone trying to comfort him while saying, ‘Stop crying!  Big boys don’t cry!’

“Tai, what happened while I was gone?!” she spat out.

“I don’t know!  I just got here too!” said Tai.  “Here, you take…T.K. girls are better with babies anyway!”

“T.K.?!” said Sora.  “This isn’t T.K.!  That is!” she said while pointing to Matt.  Matt stopped crying.

“Why does everyone think I ‘m T.K.?” he wondered to himself.  “I’m MATT!” he yelled at Sora.

“Oh-no.  So you’re telling me that I’m holding T.K. only he’s a baby.  That’s Matt only he’s…um, six or something…”

“I’m SEVEN AND A HALF!” Matt snapped at her.

“Sor-ry!” said Sora in an annoyed tone.  “That little girl is Mimi and that’s Izzy?!”

“I guess so.” Said Tai, stupidly.

“What happened?” said Sora.  Tai shrugged.  “Well, we should find a safe place to stay.”  She thought for a minute.  “Maybe they’ll turn back by morning.” She hoped out loud.  Tai picked up Izzy and Sora took T.K. as they all made their way through the woods.  After a while, both Izzy and T.K. fell asleep.  Matt and Mimi kept running ahead and then jumping out in front of them.  They were a little surprised the first…SEVEN times but after that, it just got old.

“BOO!” yelled Matt and Mimi as they jumped out from behind a tree.

“Oh.  You sure scared me THAT time.” said Sora with absolutely no enthusiasm.  “How about we stop this…okay?”

“NO!” said Mimi and Matt as they ran up ahead again.  Sora sighed.  Suddenly Matt and Mimi came running toward them.  “WE FOUND A CAVE!  WE FOUND A CAVE!”  Sora pushed through a bush and sure enough, there was a cave.

“Tai!  Hurry up!  We found a cave!”

“YOU didn’t find it!” said Matt.  “Mimi and me did!”

“Well, sorry for not being Little Miss. Speedy like you but you didn’t have to carry Izzy!  He’s not light ya know!” said Tai stupidly as he trudged into the cave.

“Shut-up!” said Sora.  She turned to Matt and Mimi who were whispering something to each other.  “Go get some leaves and grass!”

“Why should we?” said Matt putting his hands on his hips.

“Because T.K. and Izzy are sleeping and we have to make them a bed.”

“Can’t you just put them on the ground?” said Mimi.

“No, just do what I said, for once.”

“NO!” said Matt.

“Sora, can I put him down now?” said Tai.

”No, he needs a bed, now, you two, go get some leaves!”  Mimi and Matt looked at Sora who looked like she was going to explode so they quickly ran out of the cave.

“I hate doing work!” said Mimi.

“Let’s just do the bare mininum!” said Matt.

“What?” asked Mimi.

“My dad always tells me to stop doing the bare mininum, so let’s just do it.”

“Okay!” said Mimi.  They each grabbed about five leaves each and handful of grass and walked back into the cave.  They put them in two piles and smiled at Sora.

“Here’s their beds!” said Matt.  Sora groaned.

“Sora, let’s just put them down now and go and help them get more!” said Tai.

“Fine!  My arms are getting tired anyway.”  Sora put T.K. down and Tai put Izzy down on the “pile” of leaves.  “Come on you two!  You’re going to help us!”  Mimi and Matt made really loud noises as they trudged outside like they were Sora’s prisoners or slaves.  After about ten minutes of collecting leaves, Sora turned to Matt and Mimi who were digging a hole.  “Where are your leaves?”

Mimi started.  “Umm, well.  We…”

“We don’t want to make beds for them!” said Matt.

“These aren’t just for them!  These are for you two and me and Tai too!”

“Well, can’t you just make our beds?” asked Mimi.  Sora was about to say something when she heard a loud cry from the cave.

“MAMA!”  Sora ran to the cave to see Izzy in the entrance crying.

“What’s wrong?” said Sora, trying to sound gentle.  Izzy didn’t say anything, just cried.  Sora picked him up.  “Do you want to help us collect leaves?” she asked gently.

“NO!” Izzy snapped.

“Do you want to play with Matt and Mimi?”

“NO!”

“Do you want me to put you down?”

“NO!”

“So you want me to carry you?”

“NO!”  Tai came out of the bushes.

“I think he’s just saying no to everything, watch.  Is your name Izzy?” said Tai.

“NO!”  Tai started laughing.  Sora couldn’t help but laugh a little.

“Do you think he can understand us?” Sora said.  Tai shrugged.  Matt and Mimi came out of the bushes blocking their ears.

“He’s hurting my ears!” said Mimi.  All of a sudden there was another cry from inside the cave.

“Oh-no!  T.K.’s awake now too!” said Sora.  “Tai, could you get him?”  Tai ran inside the cave and came out a few seconds later carrying the screaming T.K.

“Sora!  I saw a little lake down there, can we go swimming?” said Matt.

“Umm, sure.  Here Tai, give me T.K., you take Izzy down swimming with them!”  She put Izzy down and grabbed T.K.  Tai took Izzy’s hand as Matt led the way to the lake excitedly. 

“Come on!  Hurry!  You’re so slow!”  They walked a little more down before reaching the lake.  Matt and Mimi stripped all their clothes except for their underwear and (in Mimi’s case.) her T-shirt and ran into the water.  Tai then took off his shirt and shoes and ran into the water after them.  Sora pushed her way through the bushes to see Tai in the lake holding Mimi and Matt under water and Izzy on the shore crying.

“Tai!  What are you doing?!” yelled Sora.

“I’m playing with them!” said Tai stupidly as he let go of both of them.  They both shot up gasping and choking.

“Tai, you idiot!” said Matt as he hit him. 

“Sora, come in and play with us!” said Mimi.

“I would, Mimi, but I have to take care of T.K.!” said Sora, half glad that he was little because she really didn’t want to go swimming anyway.  All of a sudden, T.K., in Sora’s arms, got heavier and heavier until Sora looked down to see that she was holding T.K., as his normal self.

“Hi, Sora.” Said T.K. as he waved shyly.  Sora put him down and he immediately ran into the water with the others.

“HI T.K.!” said Mimi and Matt as T.K. joined them.  Mimi turned to Sora.

“You can join us now Sora because you don’t have to take care of T.K. anymore!” said Mimi.  Sora sighed.

“Umm, no.  I can’t!  I have to…take care of Izzy!” she looked at Izzy who was still crying at full blast.

“Sora’s afraid of the water!” said Matt.

“I’ll have you know, that I was on the swim team back at home!” said Sora, a bit insulted.

“Sure, sure.” Said Matt.  “That’s what they ALL say!”  Sora was, by now, insulted.

“Fine.  I’ll come in.” she thought for a moment.  “Come on, Izzy.  We’re going for a swim!”  She picked him up and began walking out.  Izzy had stopped crying but he was definitely not happy.  Sora looked at the mortified look on his face and she noticed that he was grabbing onto her really hard.  She reached the point where they all were which was about up to her chest.

“Hey!  Izzy likes the water!” said Tai stupidly.

“What makes you say that?” said Sora trying to pry her shoulders loose from his grip.

“He’s not crying anymore!”

“But look at his face.”

“He just wants you to let go of him!” said Tai as he grabbed Izzy and tossed him farther out into the water.  Izzy choked and sputtered as he tried to keep his head above the water.  “See!  Look at how much fun he’s having!” he said pointing to him.  Sora made her way over to him and picked him up.  She then made her way to the shore carrying the choking, crying Izzy. 

“What were you trying to do, drown him?”

“Excuse me for living!” said Tai stupidly.  Everyone swam until it got dark.  Even Izzy got over his fear of the water (which he had thanks to Tai.) and played in the shallow end for a little while.

“Sora, I’m tired!” said Matt pulling down on her shirt.

“Me too.” Said Mimi.

“Yeah.” Said T.K.

“Yeah, I guess it IS getting late.”  She turned to Tai who was playing with himself in the water.  “Come on, Tai!  Let’s go!”  Tai trudged out of the water breathing deeply.  They all made their way back to the cave.  Mimi, T.K., Tai and Matt fell asleep instantly.  Sora looked at Tai.  “Gee, thanks for the help, Tai!” she said quietly to herself.  She lied Izzy down on one of the leaf beds and she went to go lie down on one when he sat up and walked over to her.  He started patting her head.

“Why you sleeping?” he asked.

“Izzy, go to sleep!” she said swatting him away.

“You tired?” he said rubbing her face roughly.

“Yes, I am.  Now go to sleep!  See?  I’m sleeping!” she said.  He gave up on her and went over to Matt and started playing with his hair. 

“I like you hair!” he said.  Matt woke up.

“Stop it!” he said swinging his arms at him.  He was tired though so he missed.

“No!  Don’t hit!” said Izzy frowning. 

“Stupid Izzy!” said Matt.  Sora came over and grabbed Izzy and began rocking him to sleep.  Matt fell back asleep. 

“Come on!  Go to sleep!” said Sora.

“But I not tired!” said Izzy beginning to whine. 

“Please?”

“NO!” he yelled.

“Shh.” Said Sora.  Izzy began to cry, so Sora took him outside to get him to sleep.  It took about a half an hour before Izzy even showed signs of looking the least bit tired but after a while he eventually fell asleep.  Sora carried him back in and placed him down on his bed and then went over to hers and fell asleep.  The next morning Sora woke up to see three empty beds where Mimi, Matt and T.K. were sleeping.  She ran outside to find written on the ground in really messy handwriting, ‘We ran away!’  She ran in and shook Tai awake.

“Tai!  Mimi, Matt and T.K. ran away!”

“Then go find them!” said Tai turning around and falling back asleep.

“Fine, I’ll go look for them but you have to wake up and watch Izzy!” said Sora.

“Yeah, yeah!  Sure, sure!” said Tai sitting up.  Sora smiled and left the cave.  Tai lied back down and fell asleep.  Izzy woke up to see Sora leaving and got up to follow her but she was going too fast and he eventually lost her.  Sora found Matt, Mimi and T.K. near the lake building a sandcastle.

“There you are!” she yelled.  They all giggled and ran.  “Are you guys, hungry?” The three thought for a minute.  They hadn’t eaten for a while and they WERE hungry so they walked over to Sora and they all walked back to the cave to find Tai sleeping in the cave all by himself. 

“WAKE UP TAI!” said Matt jumping on top of him.  Tai shot up.  Sora looked around.

“Where’s Izzy?” said Sora.

“Oh, he got up a little while ago.  He’s probably out for a walk or something like that!”  Matt was going to laugh but he looked at Sora’s angry face and decided to be on her good side.

“You stupid idiot!” he said.

“Well, excuse me!” said Tai stupidly.  All of a sudden they heard a loud wail coming from outside.

“MAMA!” Sora knew that was Izzy and ran outside to find him sitting down in the middle of a clearing, crying.  She bent down to pick him up and he wrapped his arms so tightly around her neck that he almost choked her.  He stopped crying though, he only whined.  Matt pushed his way through the bushes.

“I could EASILY find MY way back!” he sneered.

“Well, you’re not two!” said Sora impatiently, attempting to put Izzy down but he only whined and reached his arms up so she picked him back up.

“That’s right!  I’m seven and a half!” said Matt proudly pointing to his chest with his thumb.  “I’m a big kid and I don’t need anyone!”

“Whatever Mr. Big Kid.” Said Sora walking back to the cave.  She looked at Mimi.  Then down to her bag.  “What have you got in there Mimi?” she asked.  Mimi looked at her.

“Oh, make-up, jewelry, a mirror, a brush…” she looked at Sora again.  “They’re MINE though!” she snapped.

“Sor-ry!  I wasn’t going to take them!  I just wanted to see if they’d help us at all!” she turned to T.K.  “What about you?”

“Umm, I have magazines, candy, my game boy, a few games…umm, I think that’s about it.” He smiled.

“I don’t have a backpack or purse or ANYTHING to carry!” said Matt.

“I wasn’t going to ask you!” said Sora.  She turned to Izzy who also had a little backpack on too.  “Could I see this?” she asked him gently.

“Okay!” said Izzy with a smile.  Sora put him down and helped him get it off.  She then sat down and opened it.

“Umm, a miniature laptop…how cute, I wonder if it works.” She turns it around, looking for the switch.  She finds it and tries to reach it but her finger is too big and she can’t fit it in.  “Umm, could someone give me a hand here?” she asks while looking around.  Matt comes over.

“MY fingers aren’t too fat to fit in the hole!” he says.  Sora holds out the computer for him to turn on and points to where the switch is.  Matt hesitates.  “Only if I get to type!” he says.

“Fine!  Just turn it on!”  Matt flips the switch and the little screen turns on.

“Hello Izzy.” says the little computer dog on the screen.  Izzy giggles with delight. 

“BOOORING!” says Matt.

“Okay, how do I send a message to Gennai?”  said Sora as she moves the miniature mouse around.  All of a sudden, a picture of an ugly old guy appears on the screen.

“Who’s that?” said Mimi.

“It’s Gennai!” said Tai pointing to the screen.

“No kidding!” said Sora.

“Hello, my children!” said Gennai stupidly.  “I see you’ve finally got in touch with me.  I’ve been waiting EVER so long!”

“Yeah, whatever.” Said Sora in an annoyed tone.  “Ugh, I can barely even see him in this tiny screen!”

“Hey!  Don’t yell at me or I won’t help you!” said Gennai.

“Sorry.” Said Sora, bowing her head in shame.

“Okay, this is how you get to Infinity Mountain.  First you…”

“We don’t need to know that yet!” Sora interrupted.

“Well, then what do you need?” said Gennai.

“Well…” said Sora with even more annoyance in her voice.  “In case you haven’t NOTICED, half of us have turned into kids!”

“But you were all kids already.” Said Gennai stupidly.

“No, I mean…” she turns and grabs Matt.  “LOOK!”

“Oh, hi T.K.!” said Gennai.

“Okay, never mind.”  She turns and grabs Izzy.  “Look at Izzy!”

“That’s not Izzy!  I know Izzy!  What a nice, intelligent boy.  I remember the time…”

“No, this is what we’ve been trying to tell you!  Izzy, Matt and Mimi have gotten…” she thought for a moment then turned to Matt.  “How old are you Matt?”

“SEVEN AND A HALF!” said Matt proudly.

“Okay, fourteen minus seven…”

“SEVEN AND A HALF!”

“Sorry, fourteen minus seven AND A HALF is seven.  They’ve all gotten seven years younger!”

“How did that happen?” asked Gennai.

“I don’t know!” said Sora.

“Well, I can’t help you unless I know what happened.  But Frigimon might!  And it just so happens that Frigimon is over for tea!  I’ll put him on.”  Gennai’s face is replaced by Frigimon’s familiar, stupid face.

“Hi, Tai!” said Frigimon.  “Where’s Matt?”

“Right here!” said Tai, pointing to Matt.

“I could have sworn that Matt was older.” Said Frigimon, rubbing his chin.  Sora slapped her forehead.

“NO!  Matt, Izzy and Mimi have turned seven years younger!” she said.

“Umm, who are Mimi and Izzy?” said Frigimon stupidly.

“MIMI!” said Sora pointing to Mimi.  “IZZY!” she said pointing to Izzy.

“Oh, okay.” Frigimon paused.  “I’ve seen this before!  You by any chance haven’t gone near any weird toasters, have you?”

“As a matter of fact, we have!” said Tai stupidly.

“Yes, but what I don’t understand is why three of you haven’t turned back seven years too.” Said Frigimon.

“T.K. did!” said Sora pointing to T.K. who was over in the corner reading a magazine.  “But he turned back.  Me and Tai weren’t there at the time…I guess because we weren’t affected!”

“So, you weren’t affected at all and the one you call, “T.K.” has turned back?”

“That’s right, Frigimon!” said Tai stupidly.

“Yes, that’s pretty normal, but there’s one thing I don’t understand.”

“What?” said Sora widening her eyes.

“Well, every time I see this curse, the cursed people always go back the same amount of years.”

“And what does THAT have to do with anything?” said Sora in an annoyed tone looking ready to smash the screen.

“Well, I look at this little one next to you and then I see Matt and they look to be at least five years apart.  I don’t know why that happened.  Usually, they are sent back the same amount of years!  I guess we’re looking at a completely different curse.  Sorry, I can’t help you!”

“Frigimon!” yelled Tai at the screen.  “NOOOO!!  COME BACK!!”

“I haven’t gone anywhere Tai.” Said Frigimon looking annoyed.

“Umm, Frigimon…” said Sora taking deep breathes.  “Did it ever occur to you that they weren’t the same age before this happened?”

“No, why do you ask?” said Frigimon, stupidly.

“Because they’re NOT!” said Sora.  “Now, just tell me the cure before I smash this little screen with your STUPID face on it!”

“Well, excuse me!  It’s not MY fault!  GEEZ!”

“Just…TELL US!!” said Sora.

“Fine!  You have to go up into the heavens and pluck a feather from Head Angemon and grind it up into soup and then feed it to Head Elecmon and then have him zap a dead Pumpkinmon and then make Pumpkinmon pie out of his cooked remains and feed it to them!  It’s THAT simple!” and with that, the computer screen went blank.

“EWW!!  GROSS!!” said Matt, plugging his nose.  Sora pushed Izzy off her lap who immediately went over to the little computer and began pressing buttons.

“I-Z-Z-Y.  ~*CHIME*~ Very good Izzy!  You spelled your name! ” Izzy clapped for himself as he turned and smiled at everyone else.

“Sora, I hope you wrote all that down because I wasn’t listening!” said Tai stupidly while scratching his ear. 

“No Tai, I DIDN’T write it down!” said Sora angrily.

“C-A-T ~*CHIME*~ Very good Izzy.  You spelled, Cat.  C-A-T!  Cat! ”  Izzy grinned at everyone.

“I spell CAT!” He said while nodded his head.

“That’s nice Izzy, now leave us alone!  We’re trying to remember what Frigimon said!  Was it a feather from the tail of an Elecmon?  No.  Was it have Angemon turn into Pumkinmon soup while zapping Elecmon?  No.  Was it…” said Sora.  Izzy frowned and pressed a button.  Frigimon’s face appeared on the screen again.

“What just happened?” she said with her mouth hanging open.

“Nothing important!” said Matt.  “That stupid snowman came back and repeated everything to us again a couple times and then left again!  Nothing I couldn’t have done easily!”

“Okay, so you put a ground up Angemon feather into soup and then feed it to Elecmon and have him zap a dead Pumpkinmon and make pie out of him and have them eat it?” said Tai stupidly.

“Yeah, I guess so.” Said Sora.  All of a sudden Frigimon’s face came back on AGAIN.

“Oh, did I forget to mention that you only have two weeks to do this or they will remain like this FOREVER!” the screen went blank again.  Sora began to panic.

“WHAT?!  Two weeks!  That only gives us fourteen days!”

“Yeah, but only if you don’t count yesterday.” Said T.K.

“AHH!  Only THIRTEEN days!”

“Are you saying that if we don’t do all that stuff in thirteen days then they’ll be stuck like this forever and ever?” asked Tai stupidly.

“Yeah.  Seems pretty hopeless doesn’t it?” said Matt, not helping at all.  “Why don’t you just give up now?  ~*SIGH*~ You know you’re a failure?  Right?  I mean you didn’t need me to tell you or anything?  Right?  And you didn’t…”

“Shut-up Matt!” said Sora.  “We don’t need your commentary!”

“Well!  You’re not very good baby-sitters!” said Matt crossing is arms.

“We’re not your baby-sitters!” said Sora.

“In that case, I can do whatever I want!” he said while going over to Izzy and turning off his computer.

“WAAAAAA!!” screamed Izzy almost immediately after the computer was turned off.

“Matt!  Stop it!” said Sora.

“You’re not my mom!  And you’re not my baby-sitter!  You can’t tell me what to do!”  He walked over to T.K. and turned off his game boy.

“Hey!  I didn’t save the game!  Now I have to start all over again!” said T.K angrily hitting Matt.  Matt began to whimper.

“Sora…T.K. hit me!” said Matt in a whiny voice.

“Well, I don’t blame him!  You deserved it!” said Sora smiling.  Matt crossed his arms.

“Well, now I’m just going to be badder than ever!” said Matt running over to Mimi who was brushing her hair and grabbing a huge chunk of it.

“OW!  Let go!” said Mimi beginning to cry.  Matt began to laugh.

“Ha ha ha!  Stupid Mimi!”  he said.  All of a sudden he felt his arm rise up.  He looked up to see that Mimi had grown back to her normal self.

“Matt…let…go!” said Mimi angrily.  Matt’s grip slowly loosened until he let go.

“Hee hee.  Sorry Mimi.” Said Matt as he backed away from her accidentally stepping on Izzy’s fingers.

“WAAAAA!!” he shrieked even louder.  Matt covered his ears and ran into the corner where T.K. was.

“Go away Matt!” T.K. yelled while pushing him away.  Matt ran towards Tai but decided against it and ran towards Sora who only stepped out of the way allowing Matt to crash into the wall.

“Hey!” said Matt beginning to cry.  “Why’d you do that!?” he started crying.  She looked at Matt who had scratches all over his face and was burying his face in his knees.  Then she looked at Izzy who was screaming louder than ever turning bright red and grabbing his fingers.  She then turned to Mimi.  “You take Matt, I’ll take Izzy.” she said calmly.  Mimi nodded.  Sora walked over to Izzy and picked him up.  “What’s the matter Izzy?” she asked gently.

“Matt…step on…a my hand!” he said in between whimpers.

“Do you need a Band-Aid?” she asked smiling, knowing how much little kids liked Band-Aids.

“Okay.” Said Izzy nodding.  Sora opened the little pink purse on her belt and pulled out a Band-Aid, opened it and wrapped it around Izzy’s finger.  Izzy smiled at her as he examined his Band-Aid and then began laughing. 

“That was easy.” Said Sora to herself.  Over at Mimi and Matt…

“What’s wrong Matt?” asked Mimi.

“Everybody HATES me!” he said into his knees.

“Everybody does not hate you!” she said putting her hand on his back.

“Then why was everyone mean to me?” he asked.

“Because you were mean to them.  Why should anyone be nice to you if you’re being a pain in the neck?”

“I was not being a pain in the neck!” said Matt.  Mimi began laughing.

“Yeah, you were!  I wasn’t there through the whole thing…as my normal self…but the parts I saw looked like you were being a pain!”  Matt frowned at her.

“Just go away!” he said.  Mimi was about to give up but then she began tickling him.  Matt went into a fit of hysterics as she wrestled him to the ground.  “STOP!  I’M…VERY…TICKLISH!!”

“I know!” said Mimi, laughing.  Sora came over holding Izzy’s hand and Mimi stopped.  Matt sighed with relief as he fell to the ground giggling.

“Mimi, now that you’re grown up, do you think you have anything DIFFERENT in your backpack?”

“Maybe.”  She looked inside.  “Make-up, jewelry, a mirror, a brush, a comb, a picture of me, a fifty dollar bill…”

“A FIFTY DOLLAR BILL!!  What are you doing with a fifty dollar bill?” asked Tai hanging his jaw open.

“Oh, it’s just a little left over from my weekly allowance.” Said Mimi as if having a spare fifty was normal.  All of a sudden, a clan of Yokomons came herding into the cave.

“We heard about your little problem from Frigimon and decided to come and help you!” said one of the Yokomons.

“We come bearing gifts for you all from our village!” said another.  A few Yokomons came in carrying things.

“For you, the girl with the helmet, we bring a rope, a camera, a bag full of food and a diaper bag full of essentials for the little one!” said one as it handed Sora two big bags.

“Thanks.” Said Sora.

“For you, the girl wearing the pink cowboy outfit, we bring, shampoo, conditioner and a change of clothes that look exactly the same!”

“Oh, thank you little pink flower thingys!” said Mimi scooping one up and hugging it tightly.

“For you, original little kid, we bring, magazines and game boy games!”

“All right!” said T.K.

“For you, stupid kid with big, retarded goggles, we bring more food that you have to carry!”

“Okay.” Said Tai stupidly.

“For you, blonde kid who looks like him…” points to T.K.  “We bring for you, this storybook and this flashlight!”

“Is that all?” said Matt looking disappointed.

“And for the little one, we bring you this cookie!  Anything else you need will be with the girl with the helmet!”  Izzy accepted the cookie graciously and began to chew on it.  The Yokomons left.

“How come I don’t get a cookie?” asked Matt.

“Maybe Izzy would like to SHARE his cookie!” said Mimi.

“Okay.  Izzy, gimmie your cookie!” said Matt holding out his hand.

“NO!  MINE!” said Izzy turning around.

“He’s not giving it to me!” whined Matt.

“Well, maybe he’ll split it with you!” said Mimi.

“Izzy, can I cut the cookie in half so that I can have some?” he said.

“MINE!” said Izzy.  Neither Mimi nor Matt was going to give up on this one.

“Matt, try offering to let him look at your book.” Said Mimi.

“Izzy, I’ll let you look at my book.” Said Matt.

“NO!” said Izzy.

“All right, gimmie the cookie!” said Matt as he grabbed the cookie and shoved it in his mouth.

“WAAAAA!!” wailed Izzy.  Sora came running over from her position in the corner.  She picked him up.

“What’s wrong?” she asked.

“Matt…eata…my…cookie!” he spat out.  Sora turned angrily to Matt.

“Matt, why’d you take his cookie?” she asked with a frown.

“He gave it to me!” said Matt.

“He did!” backed up Mimi.

“Why would he cry if he gave Matt his cookie?” wondered Sora.

“I don’t know, babies are stupid that way!” said Matt shrugging.

“Come on Izzy, let’s see if there’s anything in that bag that the Yokomons gave us.”  She put him down and grabbed his hand and walked over to the corner where the bag was and opened it.

“Hmm, lemme see.  A teddy bear, a blanket, a few diapers, a pacifier,  some pajamas, some juice, a sippy cup, a change of clothes, a bottle… geez!  How much do they think he needs?!  Here.” she said as she handed him the pacifier.  She also handed him the bear.  Matt came over.

“Is there anything in that bag for me?” he asked.

“No, I don’t think so.” Said Sora in an annoyed tone.

“I bet that bear’s for me!” he said reaching for it.  Izzy stepped out of the way.  "Sora, Izzy took my bear!”

“That’s his bear!” said Sora.  Matt ran over to Mimi.

“Mimi, Izzy took my bear!” Mimi came over.

“Come on, Izzy.” she said grabbing the bear gently and tugging.  “Give Matt his bear back.”

“Mimi, that’s his!” said Sora.

“Well, he doesn’t need it!  He’s got the pacifier!” said Mimi not letting go of the bear.

“Mimi, it’s keeping him from crying.” Said Sora.

“Fine.” Said Mimi.  “Come on Matt!  You don’t need that ol’ bear!”

“Yeah, only babies play with teddy bears!” said Matt, sticking out his tongue.  Izzy hugged Sora’s leg. 

“Got any threes?” said T.K. to Tai.

“Go fish!” said Tai.  Matt came over.

“Tai, you have a three!” he said. 

“Aw man, you blew my cover!” said Tai. T.K. angrily looked at Tai.

“Have you been cheating this whole game?” he said.

“I have not been cheating!” said Tai.  “Just because I want to keep my threes doesn’t mean I’m cheating!”

“No wonder you never had anything!” said T.K. looking at his huge hand of cards.  “I’ve had to ‘Go fish’ every time so far!” he said angrily.  “What other things did you say you didn’t have when you really did?”

“Nothing!” Tai said deafeningly.

“Let me see your hand.” Said T.K. throwing his down.

“Well, I guess that ends our game!” said Tai throwing down his.

“You have a five, an eight, a seven and a jack!  I asked you for those at the beginning!” said T.K.  Just as he was about to jump on Tai, Sora came over.

“We better get going now if we want to get all the stuff we need!” she said looking at Tai, T.K. and Mimi.

“Aw, come on Sora!  Mimi and T.K. turned back without it!  Don’t ya think that if we just waited they’d turn back?” said Tai.

“No, Frigimon said to get the stuff.  Besides, we can’t take the chance that they’ll stay like this!”

“Fine!  Let’s go!” he turned to T.K. who was putting away his cards.  “Hey!  Don’t put those away yet!  We’re not going NOW!”

“Yeah, we are.  And besides, I don’t want to play with you anyway.”  Matt came over.

“T.K., can I use your cards?” he said.

“No, we have to go now.” Said T.K. putting a magazine away.

“PUH-LEASE?” begged Matt.

“No.” said T.K. in an annoyed voice.  Mimi came over.

“Mimi, T.K.’s not letting me use his cards!” tattled Matt.

“T.K., come on!  You’re not using them, why don’t you just let him?” she said, calmly.

“Because we’re leaving now.” Said T.K.

“Come on T.K., does that really matter?” said Mimi.

“Fine.  Here Matt.  Don’t loose any.” He handed the cards to Matt as Matt did a little victory dance.

“Everybody ready?” said Sora.

“Yeah!”

“Then let’s go!” they walked outside.  They were walking for about ten minutes before Mimi tugged on Sora’s shoulder.

“Umm, not to sound pessimistic but…how are we going to get up into the heavens to get an Angemon wing?” she asked.  Tai turned around.

“Well, I figured that Sora and Izzy could find their Digimon and have them digivolve and FLY us up there!”  Sora looked annoyed.

“And just WHERE are we going to find them?” she asked.

“Under this rock!” said Tai lifting up a rock to see Biyomon and Tentomon sitting underneath it playing cards.

“Hi!” said Biyomon.

“It’s about time you showed up!” said Tentomon.

“Oh.” Said Sora quietly.

“Well, what are you waiting for?  Have them digivolve!” said Tai.

“Okay.” Said Sora.  “Biyomon!  DIGIVOLVE!”

“Right!” said Biyomon.  “BIYOMON DIGIVOLVE TO…BIRDRAMON!”  Tentomon looked around.

“Where’s Izzy?” he asked.

“Right there!” said Tai, pointing to Izzy who was hiding behind Sora.

“What happened to him?” yelled Tentomon.

“Umm, well, he kinda got small.  So did Matt.” Said Mimi.

“Oh, well…okay then.” Said Tentomon in a confused voice.  Sora turned to Izzy and bent down.

“Izzy, can you say, ‘Digivolve’?” she asked.  Izzy shook his head.  Sora plucked the pacifier out of his mouth.  “Now say, ‘Digivolve’ and I’ll give this back.” She said calmly.

“Diggy-volve.” Said Izzy quietly. 

“Close enough!” said Sora and Tentomon together.  Sora gave him back his pacifier.

“TENTOMON DIGIVOLVE TO…KABUTERIMON!” Izzy ducked further behind Sora and Matt jumped behind Mimi.

“Now, we need you guys to fly us up to the heavens!” said Tai.

“No problem.” Said Kabuterimon.

“Climb on!” said Birdramon is her usual stupid voice.

“Umm, I have to stay with Birdramon.” Said Sora.  “And Izzy has to stay with Kabuterimon.  So, Tai, you take Izzy and Matt up on Kabuterimon and Mimi you and T.K. come with me!”  Sora helped Tai hoist Matt and Izzy on top of Kabuterimon and then she helped Mimi with T.K. and the two giant Digimon flew off almost immediately.  When they reached the top, Sora and Mimi looked over to see that Izzy and Matt had both cried the entire way up.  The two digimon undigivolved and were about to walk over to them when Leomon came out of nowhere and stole them.

“So, how was the ride up?” Sora asked Tai.

“Umm, it would have been fun if these two crybabies had taken a breath!  One breath…the whole way up!” Tai replied.  Matt smiled.

“Oh, don’t even TRY to lie Tai!  You cried too!” he said.

“DID NOT!” Tai yelled.

“Did too!” Matt said sticking his tongue out.

“DID NOT!” Tai shrieked sticking his tongue out too.

“Don’t do that for too long or your face might stay that way!” said Mimi, laughing.

“That would be an improvement for Tai!” Sora laughed.

“REALLY?!” said Izzy.  “It stay that way!?”  He stuck out his tongue.  Matt came over and grabbed it.  “AHHHH!!”  He let go.

“GROSS!  Now I have slobber all over my hand!”  Matt said shaking off his hand.  Izzy started crying.  Sora came over.

“What happened THIS time?” she said, looking annoyed.

“Matt…hurta…my…mouf!” Izzy whined.

“Matt.” Sora sighed, putting the pacifier back in his mouth.  “Why did you hurt Izzy’s mouth?”

“It was so tempting!” Matt pushed out.  Matt looked down at his feet.  “Hey!  I never noticed that we were standing on a cloud!” He began jumping up and down.  Then he lied down.  “It’s sooooo soft!”

“WOW!” said Tai.  “I didn’t notice either!”

“How could you have not noticed?” said Mimi.

“Oh well, let’s get going!” said Sora.  She looked around.  “Where’s Izzy?” she asked.  Matt came running over.

“Over there… sleeping like a BABY!” he said pointing to him.  “Only BABIES need naps!  I’m not a baby though so I don’t need one!”

“I think you do!” said Sora. 

“WHAT?!” yelled Matt.

“Don’t worry!  You don’t have to take on now!  We have do all the stuff first!”  Said Mimi.  Matt sighed with relief.

“Good, because I wasn’t going to take one anyway!” he said, crossing his arms.  He looked at Izzy.  “We have to wake him up!   I’ll do it!”

“Okay, but do it gently!  We don’t need him crying!” said Sora.

“Don’t worry!” he tiptoed over to Izzy, got really close to his ear and yelled, “WAKE UP!”

“AHHHH!”  Izzy shrieked as he began to cry.

“You call that GENTLE!” yelled Sora.

“That’s how I always wake people up!” said Matt proudly.

“Well, now you can get him to stop crying!” said Sora as she fished through the diaper bag.  “Here, give him this bottle!” she yelled over Izzy as she handed it to Matt.

“What’s in it?” Matt said, looking at the bottle.

“I don’t know!  It looks like apple juice!” said Sora impatiently.

“Well, I’m thirstier than Izzy.  I’m also bigger, and better and I need this more than him!” said Matt.  “How come those stupid pink thingys gave Izzy apple juice and I only got a dumb book!?”

“Maybe they thought that you needed to read more!” said Sora.  “Now, give Izzy the bottle so that he will stop crying so that we can get the Angemon feather so that we can turn you back to normal!”

“I want it!” said Matt, hugging it.  Sora smiled.

“I thought only babies drink out of bottles!” she said.  Matt frowned.

“I wasn’t REALLY going to have any of it!” he said handing it to Izzy who immediately stopped crying.  “What a baby.” Matt said to himself.

“So…” said Tai.  “Where are all the Angemons?”  All of a sudden everyone looked around and a bunch of clouds around them opened up to reveal an Angemon in each on.

“We’re on the island of misfit Digimon.  That nobody likes.  An Angemon for T.K. and nobody else…”

“Umm…” interrupted Sora.  “Sorry to be rude but we just need to see Head Angemon for a very important…uh… issue!”

“And what issue is that?” said a very annoyed looking Angemon.  “What could possibly be so important as to interrupt our song?”

“Umm, we can’t tell you.” said Tai, stupidly.

“Then what if we don’t want to let you pass?” said one.

“But we need to!” said Mimi.

“Well, we’ll only let you pass because we are good and pure at heart!” said the stupidest looking of all the Angemons.  The wall of Angemons stepped aside and they were about to let them pass when the stupid one stopped them to say, “You can’t go to Head Angemon like that!  We must clean you up!”  Each Angemon grabbed a kid and flew off.  They cleaned them up singing to the ‘Merry Old Land of Oz’ song.

“Scrub, scrub he-a, scrub, scrub tha!” said one Angemon as he scrubbed Matt roughly in a tub of soapy water.

“AHHH!!  You’re hurting my face!” said Matt, squirming.

“Oops.  Sorry little buddy!”

“I’m not you’re little buddy and I don’t forgive you!”

“That’s okay!” said the Angemon.  Meanwhile…

“Snip, snip he-a, snip, snip tha!” said another Angemon while trimming Mimi’s split ends as Mimi’s bobbed her head from side to side to the tune. “Please, we can’t cut straight when you do that!”

“Well, the tune is so catchy!” said Mimi, ceasing her bobs.

“Wash, wash he-a, wash, wash tha!” said another group, while polishing Tai’s goggles.

“Make them nice and shiny!” said Tai while tapping his feet.

“Polish, polish he-a, polish, polish tha!” said yet another group while polishing Sora’s helmet as Sora tried to keep an eye on Izzy, Matt and T.K. at the same time and trying to also keep an eye on the Angemons since they are foolhardy and incompetent.

“Comb, comb he-a, comb, comb tha!” said the Angemons while combing T.K.’s mass of hair.

“Watch the hair!” said T.K. copying Matt.

“Change, change he-a, change, change tha!” said the Angemons as they changed Izzy’s diaper.

“I…I…I’m a boy!” said Izzy.

“Of course you are little buddy!” said the Angemons in a big booming voice.

“I…I…I’m a boy.” Izzy repeated happily.

“Neglect, neglect he-a…oh nev-a mind!” said the Angemons as they neglected Joe.  They also gave everyone new clothes.  Matt and T.K. had matching cowboy outfits because the Angemons thought they were twins.

“I feel like an idiot!” said Matt, looking down at his ensemble.

“Oh, come on Matt!  They’re not THAT bad!” said T.K. sarcastically.

“What are you talking about?!” said Matt not catching the sarcasm in T.K.’s voice.

“Shut-up!” said Sora.  She was wearing a red dress and shoes and a red bow.  “Look at what I’m wearing!”  Mimi comes prancing out wearing the same thing as Sora only pink.

“Look at what the Angemons gave me!” she said excitedly.  Tai came out wearing a tuxedo.

“I feel so formal and cool!” he said stupidly.  Izzy was wearing a striped shirt and a pair of overalls.

“Now can we go see Head Angemon?” said Sora.

“Oh…okay.” Said the stupidest looking of all the Angemons.  “It’s me.”

“Oh, okay.” Said Sora.  “Can we have a feather?”

“No.” he turns around and faces the wall.  “Don’t take any when my back is turned, that would be deceitful and dishonest!  Oh look!  A quarter!  I will now bend down with my knees so as not to hurt my back and pick it up!”  As he bent down, every kid ran over and ripped out feathers until he had no more.  “I will now fly away!” said Head Angemon as he ran over to the cliff, jumped off and plunged to his doom.

“Whoops.” Said Tai, holding an armful of feathers.

“I have the most feathers!” said Matt.  He began counting his feathers.  Sora looked at everyone with their armfuls of feathers.

“We were only supposed to take one.” Said Sora regretfully.

“Oh well.” Said Mimi.  Izzy held out his single feather proudly and giggled.  Then he began to tickle Matt’s face.

“Tickle, tickle, tickle!” he said.  Matt looked up at him and pushed him over.  Izzy didn’t cry but ran over to Sora whimpering.  “Mattie…hurta…my…butt!” he said, whining.  Sora ignored him.

“Okay, now we have to get back down to earth!” she said.  Tentomon and Biyomon walked out.

“Hi!” said Biyomon.

“Need a lift?” said Tentomon.

“Sure.” Said T.K.

“TENTOMON DIGIVOLVE TO…KABUTERIMON!”

“BIYOMON DIGIVOLVE TO…BIRDRAMON!” the two newly digivolved Digimon looked down.  “Hop on my back!” said Birdramon stupidly.  T.K., Mimi and Sora jumped on Birdramon and Izzy, Matt and Tai went on Kabuterimon.  On the way down, Leomon appeared out of nowhere in a big airplane and began shooting at them.

“DIGIVOLVE!” yelled Sora.

“BIRDRAMON DIGIVOLVE TO…GARUDAMON!” Over at Kabuterimon, Tai picked up Izzy and began shaking him.

“Get him to digivolve further!” he said while shaking him.

“AHHHH!!” Izzy screamed.

“You’re useless!” said Tai tossing Izzy over the edge.  Seeing that Izzy was in danger, Kabuterimon digivolved!!!!!!!

“KABUTERIMON DIGIVOLVE TO…MEGAKABUTERIMON!!” he swooped down and caught Izzy just in time then he grabbed Tai and put him on the top of a mountain and flew away.  After Leomon captured the Digimon again and they got Tai from the top of the mountain, they went to the Digimon graveyard to get a dead Pumpkinmon.  They entered the giant crypt.

“Why would anyone go through this much trouble for a dead Pumpkinmon?” asked Tai stupidly.

“I don’t know, maybe he was a very important Pumpkinmon.” Said Mimi, shrugging.  They walked around looked around for a while.

“I scared!” said Izzy, hugging Sora’s legs.

“Me too!” said T.K. 

“I’m not scared!” said Matt, even though he was.

“Look!  A torch!” said Sora, grabbing a torch. 

“Now, if I were a dead Pumpkinmon, where would I be?” said Tai.

“Shut-up Tai!  If you were dead, it wouldn’t matter!” said Mimi.

“LOOK!!” said T.K. pointing to a coffin.  Matt ran over to it.

“I found it!  I found it!  I found it!” he said dancing around it.  He threw off the cover to see a decomposing Pumpkinmon underneath.  “GROSS!!” said Matt covering his nose.  “It smells disgusting!  And it looks gross too!”  Tai came over and grabbed a huge chunk of it.  “Ew!  Tai TOUCHED it!  Don’t touch me Tai!”  Sora pulled out a Tupperware that she happened to have.

“Here Tai, put it in here!” she said.  Tai dumped the rotting pumpkin goo into the container and then licked his fingers.

“Tai!  Stop!” said Mimi.

“Yum.  It’s actually pretty good!” said Tai picking up another scoop and eating it.

“STOP!” said Mimi.  “I’m going to throw up!”

“DON’T!” said Sora.  All of a sudden she heard a loud heave as she looked over to see T.K. throwing up in the corner.

“Ew!  T.K.!  You’re disgusting!” said Matt, covering his eyes.

“T.K. frow up!” said Izzy smiling.

“T.K. why’d you barf?” said Tai, chewing on some more Pumpkinmon.  T.K. didn’t say anything.  He just looked up for a second, saw Tai and then bent over again.

“T.K. has a very weak stomach.” Explained Matt.  “This kinda stuff makes him sick!”

“Oh, then we should leave.” Said Sora, picking up T.K. and walking toward the door.  Everyone else followed, except for Izzy.  Matt looked behind and saw him playing in a puddle.  He ran over to him.

“Come on!” he said.  “They’re leaving without us!”  He looked at the spot where he just was but saw nothing but darkness all around.  Izzy started crying.

“Mattie…I…scared!” he cried.  Matt looked around and made sure no one was around.

“It’s okay Izzy.” he said pulling him close into a hug.  (Which would have been very cute except no one was there to see it.)  They walked around for about a minute before seeing Sora’s torchlight.

“There you are!” she said.  When Matt saw her coming close, he pushed himself away from Izzy.

“He was lost and I was saving him!” bragged Matt.  “You should punish him for being bad and running away!”

“Maybe later…” said Sora, picking up Izzy, grabbing Matt’s hand and running out of the cave.

“Oh, so you, Matt and Izzy are in that cave eating Pumpkinmon innards while I’m stuck out here worrying about you with Barfy Marky and Little Miss I Broke a Nail.” Said Tai stupidly.

“But I did!” said Mimi.  Everyone ignored her.

“Oh, shut-up Tai!  We didn’t eat any rotting pumpkin guts without you!” said Sora in an annoyed tone.

“Oh, good!” said Tai, sighing with relief.  He held up the Tupperware with the pumpkin mush in it.  “Can I have this?” he asked.  T.K. bent over and started throwing up again.  “Yo, T.K. man, are you feeling all right?”

“NO!” said T.K.

“What could have made him sick?” said Mimi.

“Whoops.” Said Matt.

“What?” said Sora.

“Umm, I didn’t think it would do anything but I put some crushed berries in T.K.’s dinner last night.” He said.

“You mean those red ones we passed and I told you not to eat because it would make you very sick?” said Sora.

“Yeah.”

“I TOLD you you’d get sick and you didn’t think anything would happen if you put in T.K.’s dinner?!”  Matt looked at his feet.

“Well, yeah.  I wanted to see HOW sick he’d get.”

“Mattie’s bad!” said Izzy smiling.

“Shut-up!” said Matt.  Then…to change the subject.  “What do we have to do with this stuff?” said Matt, grabbing the container away from Tai.

“Oh, we have to get Elecmon to cook it into a pie.” Said Sora.

“What are we going to do with this pie?” said Matt nervously.

“You and Izzy are going to eat it!  Lucky!” said Tai, stupidly.

“Well, I’M not going to eat it!  Tai can have my half.” Said Matt.  All of a sudden Elecmon walked by.

“Dum dee dum dum.” Said Elecmon.

“ELECMON!” said Sora.  “Will you zap this for us?” She handed him the container filled with gunky orange stuff.

“No.” said Elecmon plainly.

“Why not?” asked Mimi.

“I don’t feel like it.” He starts to walk away but bumps into T.K. who is in the bushes, throwing up.  “T.K.!  Is that you?” he asked.  T.K. nodded weakly.  “You don’t look so good.  I know what will help you!  Some nice fresh Pumpkinmon Pie!” said Elecmon.  “Now, where am I going to get some Pumpkinmon?”  Sora shrieked.

“RIGHT HERE!!” she said tossing him the Tupperware.  “But first, have some soup!” she said handing him the Angemon feather soup that she had made while no one was looking.

“Don’t mind if I do!” said Elecmon inhaling the soup.  “It’s a little feathery.” He said wiping about 2 gazillion feathers from his mouth.  “Now!  SUPER THUNDER STRIKE!!” He zapped the Tupperware which instantly turned into Pumpkinmon Pie.  Sora came over and cut the pie into three pieces as Elecmon left.  T.K. ate his right away and instantly felt better.  Matt and Izzy both refused because according to them, they had no reason to eat the disgusting pie.

“NO WAY!” said Matt, shoving the plate away.

“I don’t yike it!” said Izzy turning his head away.

“I have an idea!” said Sora as she ran into the bushes.  “Oh gross!  How much did you have in you T.K.?” she didn’t wait for his response.  While Sora was gone, Matt took the opportunity to take his piece of pie and throw it into the river.  Izzy copied him.  When Sora returned, Matt pretended he had eaten it.

“MMM!  That was good pie!” he said while rubbing his stomach. 

“You both ate it while I was gone?” said Sora surprised.

“Yes!” said Matt.

“No!” said Izzy smiling deviously.  Sora’s smile faded.

“Where’s your pie?” she asked.

“I frowa my pie in the water!” he said while giggling uncontrollably.  Sora looked horrified.  She turned to Matt.

“Did you throw yours in the water too?” she asked.

“NO!” said Matt.  “I ate my pie like a good boy!”

“Did Matt throw his pie in the water too?” asked Sora to Izzy.

“Mattie frowa his pie in the water!” said Izzy as he began to laugh.

“That’s not funny!” said Matt frowning fakely.  Izzy stopped laughing and put on the same face as Matt.

“Iss not funny!” he imitated.  Matt and Izzy both frowned at each other for a minute before they both burst into a fit of laughter.

“NO!  This is NOT funny!” Sora yelled.  “We don’t have enough time to get all the stuff again!  You two are going to be kids forever!”

“They can’t stay kids forever, Sora!” said Tai stupidly.  “They have to grow up sooner or later!”

“Shut-up Tai!  You know what I mean!” said Sora angrily.  She slumped down on a rock.  Izzy and Matt came over to her.

“Why’s Sora crying?” asked Izzy.  Matt shrugged.

“Sora, why are you crying?” Matt asked.  Sora looked up.

“T.K. was bad enough!  I don’t want to have to baby-sit everyone!”  Matt and Izzy both looked at each other.

“It’s okay Sora!  We don’t mind!” said Mimi.

“Yeah!” said Tai.

“I guess I could get USED to having a twin brother rather than an older brother.” Said T.K. sadly.

“I’m still older than you T.K.!” said Matt.  He looked around.  He was completely oblivious to the entire thing since he didn’t remember anything about himself before their little incident.  He looked around some more.  Then fidgeted with his shirt collar.  “This is boring.  I’m going to go do something else!” Matt walked away.  No one stopped him.  Izzy watched Matt disappear behind a tree.  He looked at Sora and then smiled.

“Sora look!  I jumping!” said Izzy as he began jumping up and down.

“That’s nice Izzy!  Go bother someone else.”  Izzy frowned at Sora and then continued jumping.

“I jumping!” he said again.

“Okay, go away now.” Said Sora.  Izzy gave up and jumped over to where Matt was.

“Mattie, I jumping!” he said jumping.

“Shh.  You’ll give us away!” said Matt as he crawled over into the next bush.  Izzy jumped after him.

“I jumping!” he said.

“Quiet!” said Matt.  “I’m trying to do something!”  He crawled over to the next bush.  Izzy hopped after him.

“Mattie!  I jumping!” he said.

“Stop jumping!” said Matt.  “Get down!” he said as he grabbed Izzy’s bouncing body and pulled it down.  “Follow me!” he said as he crawled behind the next bush.  Izzy stood up and ran after him and then bent down next to him.  “We’re spies!  And we’re spying on everyone!”  Izzy looked confused but he smiled anyway.  “Okay.  Now we must watch what everyone is doing and remember the stupid things they do and blackmail them with them!”  Matt rubbed his hands together diabolically.  Izzy copied him.  “Okay let’s see.  T.K. is using his gameboy… Sora is stressing herself out… Mimi is brushing her hair… Tai…Tai is picking his nose!  Let’s go!”  Matt jumped out of the bush.  So did Izzy but he didn’t stop when he got out of the bush.

“I jumping!” he said.

“Tai!” said Matt walking over to Tai with Izzy hopping after him.  “We saw you picking your nose!  And unless you don’t want us telling everybody, you have to give us some candy!”

“I don’t have any candy!” said Tai.

“Yeah right Tai!  We also saw that you had a lot of candy too!”

“Yup!  Yup!  Yup!” said Izzy as he bounced up and down.

“Well, I don’t have any more!” said Tai.

“Fine, then we’ll have to go tell everyone that you were picking your nose!” said Matt as he pretended to motion that he was going to walk over to everyone else.

“Okay!  Okay!  Here!” said Tai as he reached into his pocket and pulled out many handfuls of candy and handed them to Matt.

“Thank you Tai!” said Matt as he walked behind the bush with his huge handful of candy.

“Me too!  Me too!” said Izzy not ceasing his endless bouncing.  Tai, making a smart decision for once and not HANDING the candy to Izzy, decided to just put it in Izzy’s pocket.  “Thank you!” said Izzy as he bounced into the bush after Matt.

“What kind of candy did you get?” asked Matt looking at his treasure.

“A green one!” said Izzy holding up a package of M&M’s.

“Can I have it?” said Matt.

“Okay.” Said Izzy, handing it to Matt.  He then looked at Matt’s pile.  “Can I have it?” he asked pointing to a package of gum. 

“Okay.” Said Matt.  “I don’t like gum anyway.”  He opened the package and handed Izzy a few pieces.  “Don’t swallow it though!”

“Okay.” Said Izzy putting them in his mouth.  All of a sudden, Sora’s head peeked into the bush.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

“Nothing!” said Matt inching over toward the candy so that Sora couldn’t see it.  Sora looked at Izzy, whose cheeks were bulging because of the amount of gum in his mouth.

“What do you have in your mouth Izzy?” asked Sora.

“Nuhfing!” said Izzy, copying Matt.

“I don’t believe you.  What’s in your mouth?” said Sora.  Izzy looked at Matt who shrugged and then Izzy stood up.

“I jumping!” said Izzy.  Then he began choking on the gum.  Sora patted him on the back until the gum came flying out and into Tai’s mouth who happened to come into the bush at the time.

“Cool!  Gum!” said Tai as he walked away.

“Why did you have gum?” Sora asked.  Izzy looked at her and smiled.  Then he continued choking.

“Matt, did you give Izzy gum?”

“No!” said Matt.  “I was here minding my own business when Izzy came over and took my gum that I had in my pocket!”

“Oh.  Okay.” Said Sora, not really believing him.  “Come on.  We need your help getting dinner.”  Matt and Izzy gathered up their candy and walked out of the bush after Sora.  After Sora gathered everyone up, she led them to a field that she had found in her spare time when no one was looking filled with blueberries, strawberries, grapes, apples, oranges, pineapples and all kinds of other fruits.  She gave them each a basket that she had and sent them off to different fruits.  “Tai you do pineapples, Mimi, you do oranges, T.K. you do grapes, Matt, you do blueberries and Izzy, you do strawberries.” She went over to the apple trees.  In the end, Tai collected about twenty pineapples.  Mimi gathered about fifty oranges.  Sora collected about eighty apples.  T.K. got around twelve things of grapes and ate about two grape things.  Matt got about two hundred blueberries and ate about five hundred.  Izzy got three strawberries and ate about twelve.  They all walked back to their campsite with their armfuls of fruit and sat down next to the campfire that Tai had made.  By now, it had gotten darker and colder and to make matters worse, there was a strange guy sitting by the fire with them with glasses and blue hair.

“Sora, who’s that guy?” asked Matt.  Sora looked at him for minute.

“Oh!  That’s Joe!” she turned to Matt.  “Just ignore him.”  And so he did, as well as everyone else.  Matt stuck one of the few strawberries on the end of a stick and held it over the fire.  Tai turned to him.

“Where did you get the strawberry?  I didn’t see any.” He said.

“Izzy has them.  Ask him.” Said Matt biting onto the hot strawberry and then spitting it out.  Tai walked over to Izzy who had his remaining two strawberries in a basket in front of him.

“Hey Izzy.  Can I have a strawberry?”  Izzy frowned at him and picked up the basket.

“No!  Mine!” he said.  Matt came over.

“Can I have another one?” he asked.

“Okay.” Said Izzy, handing a strawberry to Matt.  Tai didn’t want to give up so easily.

“Oh come on!  I gave you the candy!” he said.

“No!” said Izzy.

“I’ll give you a pineapple.” Said Tai, holding out a pineapple.

“No!” said Izzy.  Tai ran to Sora.

“Sora!  Izzy’s not sharing his strawberries!” tattled Tai.  Sora came over to Izzy and looked in his basket.

“Tai, he’s only got one left.” Said Sora in an annoyed tone.  Matt came over.

“Izzy, can I have your last strawberry?” he asked.

“Don’t even bother…” began Sora.

“Okay!” said Izzy handing the last strawberry to Matt.

“That’s not fair!” whined Tai.  “I asked first!”  Matt put the strawberry in his mouth and pretended that it was the most delicious thing in the world.

“MMM!  I LOVE strawberries!  And this one was ESPECIALLY good!”  Matt bragged.  Tai whined.

“I wanted roasted strawberries!” he said in a whiny voice.

“Awww.  Poor Tai.” Teased Matt.  Then to make the teasing go farther.  “Hey, does anyone else want some blueberries?  I have a little left!”

“I do!” said Tai.

“No, besides you.  You already had some.” Matt said smiling.

“I do!” Izzy copied.

“No!  He’s already had some too!” said Tai.

“Sure!” said Matt ignoring Tai as he dumped half of the remaining blueberries in Izzy’s basket.

“But he already had some too!” said Tai.

“Yeah but he gave me his strawberries!” said Matt.

“I gave you a pineapple!” said Tai.

“Yeah!  You gave me A pineapple!” said Matt and he walked over to T.K. and gave him half of the remaining blueberries.  “Hey!  Wanna have a blueberry eating contest?” he asked T.K.

“Okay!” said T.K.

“All right!  On your mark, get set, GO!” yelled Matt.  As soon as he did, both Matt and T.K. started shoving handfuls of blueberries in their mouths.  Sora came over.

“NO!  What are you doing?”  They both stopped.  They both looked up.  Both of their faces were stained purple.

“We’re having a blueberry eating contest!” said T.K.

“Let’s stop…okay?” said Sora.  “I think you need to be cleaned up.  In fact…” she looked around at everyone.  “I think we all need to be cleaned up!”  She led everyone down to the lake.  She took out of a bag, the bathing suits that the Angemons had given them earlier that no one noticed.  She handed everyone theirs and they all got changed.  When everyone was changed, they all went over to the lake.  Tai, Matt and T.K. jumped right in.  Mimi preferred to sunbathe and Sora played with Izzy who preferred the shallow end.  Matt and T.K. were avoiding Tai who kept following them.

“Go away Tai!” said T.K.

“I’m not Tai!  I’m the evil water monster!” said Tai stupidly.

“Shut-up Tai!” said Matt.  “We don’t like you!  Go away!”

“ROAR!” Tai said jumping on Matt and T.K. holding them under water.

“Not again!” said Sora looking at Tai.  “Tai!  Stop!”

“But I’m the water monster and I’ve got my prey!” said Tai stupidly.  Sora picked up a rock and threw it at Tai’s head.  He released the two boys who came up gasping for air.  “Hey Sora, what’s the big idea?”  Sora ignored him and turned to Mimi.

“Mimi, do you have any shampoo left over so that we can all wash our hair?” Sora asked.  Mimi sat up looking offended.

“I NEED that shampoo!”

“Tough!” said Sora taking it out of Mimi’s bag.  She turned to Izzy.  “You’re first!” she said dumping a bucket of water on his head.

“No!” said Izzy as he began to cry.  Sora ignored him and dumped another one on his head.  Sora then squeezed a huge amount of shampoo on his head and worked it into bubbles on his head.  Then, just for fun, she shaped his hair into the Alfalfa Style.  Matt and T.K. came over and started laughing and reaching for the shampoo bottle.

“Do that to me too!” said Matt.

“Me too!” said T.K.  Sora squeezed some into each of their hair and gave them each different hairstyles. 

“You all need haircuts!” said Sora as she gave Matt little devil horns.  “There…PERFECT!”

“What did you do?” said Matt excitedly.

“I gave you devil horns!” said Sora, snickering.

“COOL!” said Matt not catching on to the joke.  “Now give me something different!”

“No.  I think it’s time to wash them out!” said Sora as she splashed everyone.  Matt and T.K. dunked their heads underwater and swam away.  Izzy just sat there as the bubbles went into his eyes.

“AHHHHH!” he screeched as he rubbed his eyes.

“Whoops.” Said Sora as she grabbed Izzy and dunked his head underwater and scrubbed the soap out.  When she was done, she let go of him and let him do whatever he wanted from there.  He ran onto the shore and over to a tree and sat down and continued crying while rubbing his eyes.  At this point, she didn’t really care what happened to them so she ignored him and went over to sunbathe with Mimi.  After about a minute, Izzy gave up trying to get attention, stopped crying and started playing in the sand.  Matt and T.K. eventually got tired of the water and went over to help with his sandcastle.  Tai, not wanting to be alone, came over too and pretty soon, everybody was helping with the castle, except for Mimi who had fallen asleep in her sunbathing and was developing a really bad sunburn but no one was telling her.  They just stood behind her and laughed at her expense as her skin turned dark red.

“I think the castle should have a moat!” said T.K. as he began digging a moat around the castle.

“And the dungeon should go here!” said Matt as he began digging at the side of the castle.

“And there should be a bathroom here!” said Tai as he began to copy Matt but the whole side of the castle collapsed.

“Tai!  You idiot!” yelled Matt coming over and attempting to fix it but it just fell more.  “You ruined our castle!”  He kicked Tai in the shins.

“It wasn’t my fault!” said Tai as he tripped and fell on the whole castle.  “Oops.”

“TAI!” yelled Matt.  “You’re so stupid!”

“Don’t make fun of me!” yelled Tai as he began to cry.  He attempted to stand up but Matt just pushed him down again.  “HEY!”  He stood up and ran away.  Izzy jumped on the remaining part of the sandcastle and started laughing.  He then picked up a handful of sand and threw it at Tai and laughed at him.  Matt and T.K. laughed too and started throwing sand at him too.  “Stop!  I got sand it my eyes!”  Matt laughed at him as he tackled him and put a huge handful of sand in his hair and stole his goggles.  He then put them on himself and ran in the water.  “NOOOOO!!”  Matt put them in his hair like Tai always has his.

“I’m Tai!” said Matt as he mocked Tai.

“Stop!” whined Tai.

“Ha ha ha!” said Matt as he put them over his eyes.  He then quickly tore them off and threw them in the water in front of him.  “Gross!  Tai!  Those goggles smell terrible!  Do you ever wash your hair?”  He then went around the floating goggles and out of the water like it was poisonous.  “Ew!  Those goggles smell like dandruff!”

“Does dandruff even have a smell?” asked T.K.

“Whatever!” said Matt.  “They smell like TAI!”

“Then they MUST smell bad!” laughed T.K.  They both laughed at Tai’s expense as Tai sat there crying with his soaking wet goggles in his hands.

“Tai, you’re pretty pathetic.” Teased Sora.  “You’re letting a seven-year-old get the best of you!”

“Shut-up!” screamed Tai.  Izzy came over and put a handful of sand in Tai’s hair and laughed as Tai started crying louder.

“Now you’re letting a two-year-old tease you!” said Sora.

“WAAAAA!!” wailed Tai.

“Tai’s crying!” said Izzy nodding his head.

“Stupid Tai.” Said Matt laughing as he started throwing clumps of sand at Tai.  Tai rolled up into a little ball and cried as everyone continued to harass him.

“All right.  Let’s stop harassing Tai!” said Sora.

“Oh but Sora…” complained Matt.  “It’s so much fun!”

“I know, but you should stop anyway.” Said Sora laughing.  She grabbed them and took them over to the pile of clothes and sorted out whose was whose.

“Okay, where’s my stupid hat?” said Matt.  “I mean, I am T.K and all and I always wear that stupid hat!”

“Shut-up Matt.” Said Sora.  “By now, we know who’s who.”  Matt looked disappointed as he put his own clothes on.  All of a sudden, Izzy backpack started beeping.  Sora picked it up and took out the little computer and turned it on.  Frigimon’s stupid face appeared on the screen.

“Hello!” he said.

“Hi Frigimon!” said Tai stupidly.

“I just called to tell you something.”

“Oh, before you say anything Frigimon…” interrupted Sora.  “We did everything you told us to and made the pie but it turns out that these two…” points to Matt and Izzy.  “Thought it would be funny to throw it in the water!”  Matt and Izzy start laughing.

“That’s what I wanted to tell you!” said Frigimon.  “The Pumpkinmon Pie was for ANOTHER client who had eaten some poisonous berries that I was talking to as well at the time so that doesn’t even matter!”

“What?” said Sora.

“What I meant to tell you was that you just have to wait and eventually it will wear off and they will turn back to normal!” said Frigimon.  Sora didn’t say anything.  “Are you still there?” asked Frigimon.  Sora turned the computer off and turned to everyone. 

“It seems that we did all of that for nothing!” she said.  “All we had to do was WAIT for them to turn back!”  She turned to Izzy and Matt who just smiled at her.

“Well Sora…you get an ‘A’ for effort!” said Tai stupidly.

“Shut-up Tai!” said Sora.  All of a sudden everyone heard a loud shriek as Mimi ran into the cave half-dark-red and half-normal while screaming.

“OW!!  OW!!  OW!!  OW!!  Why didn’t anyone wake me up?” she yelled.  Everyone snickered softly.

“You looked so comfortable!” said T.K. laughing.  Since Mimi was sleeping on her side, half of her face was red and the other half was her usual skin color.

“And you look so pretty with your face two different colors!” laughed Matt.  “Kinda like Two-Face!”  The other half of Mimi’s face turned bright red as she screamed and expressed her anger out by beating up Tai. 

“I feel much better.” She said as she emerged from Tai as a steaming heap on the floor.  Tai twitched a few times before falling unconscious.  “So, what were you guys doing before I came in?”

“Frigimon appeared on the computer screen again and I have some good news and some bad news.” Said Sora.

“First the good news.” Said Mimi.

“Well, the good news is that these two are going to turn back to normal anyway even though they didn’t eat the pie.”

“And the bad news…”

“The bad news is that we did all that stuff for nothing.”

“Well that definitely…sucks.” Said Mimi.

“Mimi, you shouldn’t swear!” said T.K.

“Sorry.” Said Mimi, rolling her eyes.   She turned to Matt and Izzy who were staring at the two girls.

“You’re talking about us!” said Matt looking up at them.

“Yeah!” said Izzy as he began to start jumping again.  All of a sudden there was a bright flash and when it cleared up, there was regular Matt standing there looking up and regular Izzy jumping up and down.  Matt looked forward and smiled at them with an embarrassed look on his face.  Izzy slowly stopped bouncing and got the same look on his face that Matt had on his and they both blushed.  Mimi and Sora smiled evilly at each other.

“Have we got a story to tell you.” they both said as they stuck their faces into Matt’s and Izzy’s as the two just backed away nervously.
