The 2nd Digidestine-
WIX!




      "Aaaahhh!"  Akira and Liz screamed.  The attack hit them.  But they
felt no pain, only a little tingling and then- Bam!  They were in a
different place.  A dungeon.
     "Uh... 'kira?  Where are you?"  Liz asked.  It was pitch black.
    "Over here Liz!  Come torward my voice, c'mon!  I'm here.  Don't worry
it's gonna be okay.  But our digimon aren't here with us, that's the bad
news."  Akira finally felt Liz, who was trembling, in his arms.
    "Where are we 'kira?"  her voice shook.
    "I don't know."  He said in a matter-of-fact tone.  "But we'll escape. 
I'm not gonna die in here!"  he said.  "There has to be some possible way
out of here.  Uhm, sit down... I think my eyes are adjusting to the light in
here.   I'll try and find a way out."  He let Liz trembling down onto the
gross, cold, dry ground.  And she started to cry.


    "What did you DO with them Swarthimon!"  Wix gasped at the evil monster.
    "I sent them to my dugeon.  I will... eliminate them later."
    "NO!  Why... why are you doing this!"  Wix sobbed.
    "Because... I want to see you suffer."
    "B-but why?"  he sobbed.  "WHY?!"


    "Oh A-k-kira!  I just don't know what to do!  W-we're stuck down here
while Wix is trapped and we don't have our digimon and what about Daisu and
Yamo and Mika and Chri-?"  Liz sobbed, but was interrupted.
    "Liz, please!  We'll be all right!  I still have my laptop, huh?  And
our digivices.  We can contact the others!  Don't worry."  He said firmly,
and unclipped his digivice from his laptop strap.  "Huh?  I-it's not
working!"  But when he saw more tears flashing in her eyes, he said
immediately, "But it's ok!  I'm sure the will in a little while!  Let's try
my laptop!"  He smiled nervously.  "Uhm... oh-!"
    "Oh stop it 'kira.  Dont' try to make me feel better or whatever you're
trying to do!  Please, just sit by me?"  she sighed.
    "Well, uhh, all right!"  and he sat down by her on the cold stone floor.
  Liz took his arm and put it around her shoulders, and then snuggled up to
her.
    <Whoa... >  Akira felt sweat down his face and tensed.  But then he
relaxed with her and cuddled back.
    "Thanks... "  Liz shivered.
    "Sure Liz... and for a girl who's supposed to be tough, you sure aren't
right now."  he smiled.
    Liz laughed.  "Thanks Kira."  She sat up, but still leaned against the
boy.


    "Geez!  It sure has been a long time!  I don't know WHERE Liz and the
others are... I hope they're ok!"  Daisu sighed impatiently.
    "Don't worry Daisu, I can digivolve anytime you say just call me and
I'll do it and we'll defeat that Swarthimon!"  Agumon said.
    "Thanks Agumon, you sure are a pal!"  Daisu grinned.  Then he thought of
something else.  "Um, my dad and uncle- uh Tai and Matt didn't fight THAT
much, did they?"
    "Well, I guess you could say that they were the best of friends, yet the
worst of friends.  Yeah, they did argue alot, but they did agree to some
things and were really good friends too sometimes."  Agumon answered slowly.
    "Hm.  Well they still do argue alot.  Mom said that on their wedding day
they almost got into a fight!"
    "What?  You mean Sora's and Tai's wedding?  Gee!  I didn't think they
would go that far... "
    "Yeah, well, they sure did!"  Daisu snickered.  "Once Uncle Matt punched
dad for calling him, a, well, um, a word that's not very nice!"
    "Yeah, I- !"  Agumon then heard something.  Daisu looked at his
digivice.  Someone was talking to him.
    "Hello?  D-daisu are-you-there?"  It was Chris.
    "I'm here Chris!"
    "We're in-trouble!  Come to-the-west wing!"  His voice shook and
wobbled... then it went dead.
    "C'mon Agumon!  But don't digivolve yet, save your energy!"  Daisu
started running down the hill.

    "Yamo look!  There's Daisu... I wonder what he's doing!  I bet the
others are in trouble."  Mika pointed.  "You stay here for backup, I have to
go help!"
    "Wait I wanna go with!"  Yamo protested.
    "NO!  Now stay here, please!"  And she and Gatomon ran down the hill.
    "Be careful!"  Yamo called down the hill.  "Do you think they'll be all
right?"  he said to Patamon.
    "Of course Yamo!  And if they need our help, we'll be right behind
them."  Patamon reassured him.
    "Thanks Patamon!"  And they watched.

    "Kira, we're never gonna get out of here!  So just give up and put that
rock down!"  Liz huffed at him.  Akira was slamming a large stone against
the wall to try and break it open.  But he himself could barely lift the
rock.
    "You yourself can barely lift the rock!"  she shot at him.
    "Yeah yeah I know!  But... well, let me try my laptop again.  I'm sure
there's some technical way to get out of this place.  Brains instead of
brawn... "  and he took out his laptop and began to type nonstop.  "Hmmm...
what?"  A little person figure popped up onto the screen.
    "What is it?  Hey! I recognize him.  It's that Gennai guy Prof. Izumi
was talking to him before we came to this crazy world."  Liz crawled over
and looked at the screen.
    "Greetings digidestined."  Gennai said.  "How are things over there? 
It's looks awful dark."
    "I should say so Gennai!  Swarthimon trapped us down here with his
teleportion attack!  Do you know how to get us out of here?"  Akira
questioned.
    "Well, it's not that easy kids.  You have your digivices, right?"    
"Yes!"  They said.
    "Well then, you have to hold them up together, concentrate, and you'll
be out of there in a flash!  But, of course, you have to make your crests
glow too.  I told you it wasn't simple!"
    "Awww.... "  Liz groaned.
    "Hey, don't take it out on me, I"m just telling you what you have to do!
  Sheesh!  Now I have to go, and good luck!"
    "Wait!  Do you know how to defeat Swarthimon?"  Akira asked quicky.
    "Yes.  And no.  It's all in your crests, so figure it out for yourself! 
I have an appoinment to make, bye!"  And he disaperred.
    "Man, what a disappointing little guy."  Liz scowled.
    "How agreeable."  Akira frowned.  "Well Liz, he said we have to make our
crests work... I don't know how though.  But yours is Love, and mine is
Knowledge.  I wonder if that... of course!  I get it!"
    "Get what?"
    "In order to get our crests working, we have to show what they
represent.  In order to have yours work, you have to show love, and I
knowledge!"
    "Oh yeah, that's easy!"  Liz sneered.
    "Yeah, I know, especially for you!"
    "HEY!"

    "C'mon Agu, this way!"  Daisu snuck inside the castle behind a guards
back.
    "Now what Tai-Daisu?"  Agumon asked.
    "You sure call me my dad's name alot... "
    "It's just you look so much alike I could get you two mixed up!"  Agumon
shrugged.
    "Yeah, sure... now, this way!  Let's run."  Daisu checked his digivice,
making sure they were following the blinking light that showed up on it. 
They stopped in front of a large, magnificent doorway.     "Digivolve
Agumon!"
    "Right!  Agumon, warp digivolve to... Wargreymon!"  Wargreymon smashed
through the doors.  And they saw Swarthimon.
    "Wix!"  Daisu screamed, and ran into the room.  Wix was literally
covered almost every inch of hisself in blood.  Even from his mouth a little
trickle of blood ran through.  His clothes were shredded and he was chained
tightly to a wall.  Daisu stared at him, disbeleiving what he saw.  "NO! 
You... you!  I can't beleive how evil you are!  Never in my life have I seen
such evil and suffering!  Let my cousin GO!"  he screamed at the digimon.
    "Oh... another one, hmm?  I'll send you to the dungeons just like I did
with your little sister!"  Swarthimon growled at them.
    "Terra force!"  Wargreymon yelled.   But Swarthimon just absorbed it
into his hand.
    "No way!"  Daisu gaped.
    "Now... it's your turn!  Teleportion!"  A beaming light was thrust at
him, and....
    "Daisu?"
    "Huh?  Liz!"  He felt cold, but comferting arms fling around him and hug
him tight.
    "Oh Daisu!  Did he get you?  Oh no... now there's three of us stuck down
here."  she sobbed.
    "Who else is here?"  Daisu hugged back.
    "I am."  Akira said.
    "Akira?"
    "Yep."
    "Hooboy.  How do we get out of here?"  He asked.
    "Um, Gennai appeared and- "
    "You mean the little guy who got us stuck here?"
    "Yeah.  And he said in order to get out of here... " and Akira explained
everythig to him.
    "Weird!  Well, to show Love from you is gonna be hard Liz!  Ha!"
    "Shut up Dais!"  Liz growled.
    "Yeah, whatever-!"
    "Fighting solves nothing!  So shut up!"  Akira shot at the two.
    "Yeah, right!"
    "C'mon you guys!  We have to get out of here!  If we don't... well, the
others are probably already too much in trouble.  Mika, Yamo, Chris, Tiki. 
Including us already.  And our digimon- we have to remember them, too.  We
have to do this now." he said firmly.  "We have to use our virtues.  Our
knowledge, love, courage, friendship, and all that.  Now take each others
hands, and concentrate.  Close your eyes.  Think of your crest."
    They did as he said.
    "Um... Liz?"  Daisu said softly to her.  "I love you... and, and Akira? 
I'm sorry for that fight I started with you.  I just knew I had to protect
my cousins and sister, and I was so stressed about worring about them.  I
just wasn't thinking.  I took it out on you."
    "It's okay Daisu.  I know.  I was on the same side as you too.  Normally
I wouldn't have fought with you.  I would have backed away."
    "All right guys.  This is it.  We have to defeat Swarthimon.  Courage
says it all!  We need to go up there and stand up to him.  And we will." 
Liz lifted her chin.
    "Right!"
    "Good."  she grinned.
    "Huh?"  Akira's eyes widened.  "You guys... your crests.... "
    Daisu's and Liz' crests were glowing, but not Akira's.  Bright flashes
of light blew up before their faces and died down as quickly as it had come
up.  They looked down at their crests.... Daisu now had Love, and Liz had
Courage.
    "What?!"  Liz cried.  "How the heck did this happen?"
    "I don't know."  Daisu stared.  "Maybe it means.... um.... "  He thought
for a while, then-
    "It means that you deserve Courage and I get Love."  Akira realized
slowly.  "Wow."  Then- his crest began glowing, and then Daisu's and Liz'
with it.  They grabbed each others hands and the flash blew up again.
