The Secret. By Kawaii_Kitty

Ch.1 Abduction

As the sun set on the Digiworld, the digidestined set up camp for the night. Sora and Tai were cuddled close to each other for more warmth, as with T.K. and Kari. Izzy looked up from his laptop and out of the corner of his eye to catch Mimi sleeping peacefully and couldn’t help himself but to smile. Joe was holding Gomamon for heat, for his being farthest away from the fire for “safety reasons”. Matt and Gabumon had evening guard. Matt looked over his shoulder from poking the fire with a stick and at Sora. He sighed hopelessly and looked back into the fire, thinking about the past month. He started the whole guilt trip by telling Sora he loved her. She apparently had the very same feelings for him, but was Tai’s girlfriend and couldn’t deceive him. But the two had grown close. Almost as close as Sora had with Tai. Matt emitted another sigh and drew Izzy’s attention.

“What’s wrong Matt?” Izzy said calmly over his yellow laptop. Matt’s light blue eyes shifted up from the fire and at Izzy.

“Nothings wrong Man. I’m cool.” Izzy quirked his right eyebrow and looked at him suspiciously.

“Are you sure? You seem upset.”

“I am Not upset!” Izzy sighed and shut down his laptop.

“Well, I’m going to sleep.” He said as he put his laptop back in it’s carrying case. “Good night.”

“I suppose.” He said as he continued to stare into the fire.

The Next morning, Joe was sitting next to the smoking ashes which used to contain a fire, with his head in his lap. Matt awoke to Joe’s loud snoring and a beam of the blazing sun. He turned his head to Sora who gave a loud moan of disapproval of the morning’s coming. She sat erect, yawned, and stretched. When she opened her eyes, she saw Matt and smiled happily. She took a wrinkled piece of paper from her pocket and a pencil as well and wrote on it.

“Come on, Let’s get going.”  Matt said as he motioned with his head for Sora to get up. She smiled once more and put the note next to Tai and stood up. Matt took her hand in his and together they walked to a small secluded lake.

“Oh Yamato.” Sora whispered when they reached their destination, “I think I may be ready.” She smiled as he slid his arms around her waist.

“I sure hope so. I’ve been waiting a long time to be alone with you like this.” His dark blue eyes gave a twinkle of  slyness. Sora’s arms remained at her side and she leaned back into his. She leaned toward him and closed her eyes and he did the same. His forehead met hers and their lips closed in on each other.

“SORA! WHERE ARE YOU?!” Sora and Matt heard Tai yell. Sora and Matt lowered their heads and opened their eyes.

“Maybe some other time.” he said quietly. Sora nodded and took off her hat.

“Well, Maybe we should start looking for berries like I told Tai we would.” Matt smiled and brought up the bottom of his long green shirt and began filling it with ripe red berries. Sora began doing the same, only filling her hat.

Away in another Realm, a dark figure looks upon Sora and Matt through a  hand-held mirror. “Look at those fools.” She said hatefully, “Picking berries, not knowing that I have been watching them closely throughout their adventures.” She sneered at them and put the mirror to the side. She looked at the rock hard walls around her and Sighed, thinking of all the memories she’s had.

“Hey, Sora!” Tai said when she and Matt returned, “Get lots of berries?” Sora smiled wide and set her hat next to a rock.

“Sure did.” She ran to Tai and gave him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. Tai returned the gesture and hugged her back.

“Is there anywhere I can dump out my shirt?” Matt said with a sweatdrop. Mimi took off her large pink cowboy hat and Handed it to him. He quickly filled it and set it down next to Sora’s hat. He sat down on a tree stump and fished his harmonica from his pocket. He put the harmonica to his mouth and began to play it, running it along his lips and blowing into it. Sora looked to him and smiled. The hand-held mirror had once again been picked up and stared into.

“He’s quite talented. For a human.” She hissed to the mirror, “Now, which one will carry out the plans?” She scanned the area with her dark brown eyes, and looked over Sora. “Hmm, she seems well trusted. Everyone seems to like her. And She’s gullible.” She stood up from her cold Onyx chair and walked around the castle she was in. When she reached a chamber and saw a control pad and a window, she grinned and snickered evilly, letting her canine teeth show. There was a small purple plant like creature at the control board.

“Weed.” She spat at the purple creature. It immediately spun around and showed her respect.

            “Y-yes mistress?” He said.

“Set course for the digital world.” The weed stared at her through his three extensions on his head which were flowers.

“But, Mistress. How do I do that?”

“Ask an Omega or a Henger or something. They’re digital!” She remembered the mirror in her hand and held it up so the weed could see. “This is the digital world. It is controlled by monsters called Digimon.”

            “Digi-mon?” Weed asked.

“Yes, it stands for Digital Monsters. They are monsters, yes, but not like us.” She walked to the control board and put the mirror in the course slot head up. The board analyzed the data and location into it’s hard drive and began to go at a warp speed, breaking the time and space barrier.

Back in the Digiworld, The digidestined and Digimon were munching on their lunch that everyone helped collect.

“Hey, anyone have room for this apple?” Joe offered. Everyone shook their heads and lay back. They couldn’t remember the last time they had eaten so much.

“Ugh, I won’t have to eat for another month.” Tai said followed by a belch. “Excuse me.”

“Actually, Tai,” Theorized Izzy, “You will actually feel very hungry tomorrow morning, ugh.” Izzy also belched and excused himself.

“Is anyone else feeling tired?” asked Mimi, while putting her large hat over her eyes. Everyone raised their hands and paws and dropped them quickly. Within Five minutes everyone was either asleep and snoring, or asleep and drooling. All except for Sora. She was awake and staring at Matt, longing to feel his soft tender kiss. She shook her head and remembered she was committed to Tai. Sora stood up and walked off into a clearing. There, she sat down and leaned on a tree trunk and stared at the sky, drowning in her emotions and thoughts. When a very odd shaped object floated over the area she stood up and looked at it.

“What the Heck is that?” She demanded to no one particular.

“That’s Master Moo’s floating castle.” Sora spun around to see what seemed to be a young lady with reddish brown hair, which was cut neatly below her jaw, fur at her wrists and ankles, fur from her neck to just below her chest except in one spot that was shaped like a heart and stopped in-between her breasts. She had a pair of horns coming from the top of her head and thrust forward and into a deadly point. Her large bat-like wings were outstretched, adding more of an evil affect on the situation. She stared at Sora through her dark brown eyes and didn’t seem to like her at all. In her hand was the mirror which helped her to get to the Digiworld and on her chest was a dark emblem which looked like a gray bird upside-down in a dark sky. The emblem of Moo.

“Wh-who are you?” Sora asked nervously, backing into the tree trunk.

The creature smiled evilly and took a step toward Sora. “My name is Pixie. I come from the Monster Realm. A place very much different than this.”

            “What do you want?”

“You, Have been honored by being chosen by myself and Master Moo to carry out this mission for us.”

“That’s not honor! That’s an insult! I would never do anything evil!” Pixie snickered evilly and took another step toward Sora.

“Or so you think.” With that she leaped into the air and flapped her large wings, as well as raising her right arm into the air with her index finger pointed skyward. “LIGHTNING!” She shouted. Electricity flowed to her index finger and flowed within it. She then thrust her arm down and pointed at Sora. The electricity exited from her finger and engulfed Sora, causing her to fall to the ground screaming in pain and falling unconscious. Pixie snickered once more and picked Sora up, throwing her across her shoulder. She concentrated and teleported to the floating castle.

Once inside, she walked to Captain Weed, The head of all the Weeds, and stood before him.

“Put the castle on stealth mode, we’re going to be here for a while.”
