The 2nd Digidestines-
The Final Battle





     "I'm scared Wix... "  Tami clung to him, as they walked on through the
forest, onto Swarthimon's castle.
     "It's ok Tami... you'll be all right, and the rest of us, too!"  Wix
smiled at the girl.  "I'll take care of you, okay?"
     "Ok... thanks."  she hugged him.
     "Isn't that cute?"  Mimi whispered to Sora, looking softly at the two
children together.  "I have to admit, I'm scared too."
     "It's ok Mimi.  What Wix said is true, we'll be all right.  We're the
digidestined, right?  We can it on."
     "Righto mom!"  Liz joined in.
     "Thanks Liz."  Sora smiled.
     "I beleive in us!"  Biyomon said.
     "So do I!"  Agumon repeated.
     "That's good, because I sure don't right now... "  Joe looked
miserable, walking- or should I say sagging -along.
     "Aw, cheer up Joe!  C'mon, your son doesn't complain!"  Gomamon said
cheerfully, as usual.  "Though your daughter does... " he said quietly so
Tiki wouldn't hear.
     But she did.
     "I heard that you little seal-dog thingy monsterous ugly little punk!" 
She cried out.
     "Yipes!  Well I'm sooor-ry!"  Gomamon leapt to the other side of Joe.
     "Like mother like daughter!"  Palmon said.
     "Say, Izzy, when are we gonna GET there already?"  Tai asked, restless
of no action.
     "In a little bit Tai, geez you're as bad as a two year old!"  Izzy
frowned.
     "Gee, I'm soor-ry!"  Taichi rolled his eyes.  He was, as Sora thought,
bad as a two year old sometimes.  But other times he was as wise and
honorable like a wise, honorable old man.  That's why she loved him.
     "Hey Uncle T...."  Wix asked.
     "Yeah?"
     "Could you, um, let Liz lead us?  After all, she's the leader of our
new DD group, and she's a good leader, and she needs to be beside you to
lead also, because she's our leader.  But not your leader.  Your group is
different apart to ours... and you're the leader of that group.  But don't
try to control ours... because we go by Liz.  We go by Liz usually that is. 
Usually it's what we consult with each other.  Okay?"
     "Y-yeah.  Okay."  Tai was surprised at the speach his nephew has
sprouted.  Wix smiled and ran back to Liz, pushing her up by Taichi.
     "Hey!  What's the big idea punk?"  Liz cried out.
     "I wantchyou to be by Uncle T!"  Wix grinned and ran over to his dad
and Gabumon, still grinning at her.
     "Whatever!"  She shrugged and walked with her hands in her pockets.


     "Whoa... that's the place?  This is creepier- much creepier -than
Myotismon's castle... "  Tai stared down the hill at the horrible looking
place.  Trees and bushes surrounded them, luckily, so they wouldn't be seen
by any guards.
     "I know.  That's just freaky."  Matt stared also, as everygrownup was
though.
     "Ok then, let's ambush!"  Daisu almost started down the hill, but Akira
grabbed him and threw him back.
     "Are you nuts Daisu?  We just can't rush down there and attack!  What
if they have something down there that we don't want to meet up with yet?  I
don't think that rushing down there like the maniac you are is very smart! 
You can so dense sometimes, you know that?"  He thrust at him.
     "What are you talking about Akira?  You're acting like a jerk!  I don't
beleive you!  Mr. Smarty huh?  More like Smarty-ass!"  Daisu fumed.
     "You jerk!"
     "Shut up!"
     "You!"  Akira's hand flashed across Daisu's face, who fell back and
tumbled upon ground.
     "RRRGGH!"  Daisu tackled Akira, and they rolled around on the ground,
each trying to get on top of each other, pushing and scratching.
     Finally Sora started to do something.  She ran up to them, and grabbed
Daisu's ear.  Mimi followed her and grabbed Akira ear.  Each hold was very,
very painfull for the boys...
     "Ow, ow, ow, ow-"  Daisu got up slowly from the ground.
     "Ow, ow, ow, ow-"  Akira did the same.
     "This fighting is rediculous!  You two remind me of the old days... two
hurricanes combined, who's names happend to be Yamato and Taichi!"  Sora
galred at the two men, who were watching.  Then she let go of Daisu's ear,
who rubbed it.  Mimi let go of Akira, who also rubbed his ear.
     <Hey... >  Matt and Tai thought.
     "I agree with her!  It's horrible!  You'd think that you two were.. you
were, oh, I don't know!  But I hate the fighting, so STOP IT!"  Mimi
shrieked.
     "I think we should go down now, but I have a single plan that just
might be better for us."  Izzy's theory began.  "We're going to go down in
two's.  Me, Akira, Tentomon, Joe, Chris, and Gomamon will go down together. 
Then Tai, Daisu, Agumon, Matt, Wix, and Gabumon will go together.  Then
there's Sora, Liz, Biyomon, Mimi, Tiki, and Palmon in group.  Then there'll
be Kari, Mika, Gatmon, Takeru, Yamo, and Patamon in the last.  Each group
will go inside seperately in different passage ways.  We will each go into
Swarthimon's private chamber, and attack him.  Eventually we'll all get
there, and defeat him like that.  I don't know about Daisuke though, I'm
sorry Taichi; I'm not sure how we'll leave him alone.  Perhaps we'll just
have to destroy the outer to get into the inner."
     "Wait!  I can't go with Mom and Mimi, remember?  I have the power of
Courage, not Love.  Daisu has Love, so he has to go with Mom and Biyomon!  I
just had to say that, 'kay?  Because it's true."  Liz burst out.
     "And I'm going with Wix!"  Tami said, standing firmly by him.
     "All right then.  I'm not stopping you."  Izzy grinned.
     "Okay then.  Let's go!"  Tai proclaimed.


     "Liz... is this his chamber?"  Taichi asked his daughter.  He saw
Sora's group on the other side, and behind them, Izzy's.
     "It sure is.  Let's burst it, huh?"  she grinned.
     "No way kiddo, not like that!"  Matt said, warry of what might happen. 
He didn't want his neice to be hurt.  He especially liked her out of all his
other neices or nephews.  Besides his son, that is.
     "He right Liz, you must take precaution!"  Gabumon said.
     "I know, I know."  She breathed in slowly.  She waved to Daisu on the
other side of the hallway.  Then, Sora and Tai nodded at each other, and
Biyomon and Agumon were about to digivolve.
     "Agumon, warp-digivovle to-!  Wargreymon!"
     "Biyomon, digivovle to-! Birdramon!  Birdramon, digivovle to-! 
Garudamon!"
     Wargreymon burst through the metal doors, revealing Swarthimon.  He was
calmly sitting on his throne, as if he'd known they would come today.  There
was a horrible stench that came out, and Liz blinked her eyes in disguist,
because the stench leaked into here eyes.  He calmly got up, and flashed his
cloak about.  He walked up, then stopped, staring his cold eyes at each one
of them.
     "I knew you would come... why did you?  You've already been defeated." 
he said in his cold voice.
     "We came to destroy you Swarthimon!  You're gonna be outta this place
pretty soon!"  Taichi said.
     Swarthimon stared at Taichi for a minute, and began to... tremble. 
Tremble in the arms.  Then he shook his head and stopped.
    "You're very foolish.  You can't defeat me... I'm untouchable."
    "But we will... you've done too much damage!  Too much damage to the
world you were once going to protect!  Don't you remeber?  You stood proudly
by your digidestined companions, and swore to yourself that you would
protect this world!  But now you're taking over it.  What about your
daughter?  What about Buimon?"  Sora spoke out.
    "What are you talking about?"  Swarthimon roared, and the air made them
fly back into a wall.
    "That your real name is Daisuke!  You're not Swarthimon!  Destroy
Swarthimon, let him go!  The evil of him is taking over!  It took over long
ago, in fact... "  Matt cried out.
    "And this is your daughter!  And this is Buimon... I don't really know
you, but I know that you're probably a good man!  Please...  let go of the
evil."  Wix stepped forward.  He showed to him Tami and Buimon, who both
willingly, yet not, came forward.  Swarthimon looked at them for a moment
and fell to his knees.  Then something weird happened...  Flashing back and
forth as quick as lightning, was Daisuke.  First there was Swarthimon there,
and then Daisuke in his place, then Swarthimon, then Daisuke, and it kept on
going like that.  Daisuke was screaming for help.  Taichi watched in horror.
     "Heeelp mee Taiii!"  he cried.   But Swarthimon's body took over again,
and he looked up, sweating.  "NO!  I won't lose another body again!  I won't
go into nothingness!"
     Liz noticed behind her that Takeru's group had appeared.  Kari had seen
the flashing.  Long ago, the little boy called Daisuke had the biggest crush
on Hikari... and she knew that, and teased him for it.  S, he did kindof
like him back, but she loved Takeru, and that was it.  But still she knew
that her friendship with Daisuke would be intimate, forever.  And now she
rushed forward to get back that friendship that had disapeared so long
ago... which was because Daisuke has disapeared.
     "Daisuke!  It's me, Hikari, the girl you had used to love!  Used to
have a crush on... Daisuke, I love you too, but more as a brother, or more
than a brother, not a lover.  Daisuke, you must fight away from Swarthimon! 
You're the only one who can do it... you have so much to live for!  You have
your daughter, and all your friends.  Please, Daisuke, fight!"  she begged.
     There was more flashing, and more screaming from both Swarthimon and
Daisuke.  Then... a burst of light came from them, and they split apart. 
Each was on his hands, kneeling on the ground, gasping for breath. 
Stimultaneously, they fell to the ground, but only one of them
dissinagrated.  Swarthimon.
