Tale of the Digimon Destroyers
Part 2
"Back to the digital world"
Let's make a quick flashback, shall we? New evil digimon called the
Digimon
Destroyers apeared in the digital world. They were supposed to be the
next
digi destines digimon, however something wen't wrong and now they're
bad.
Tallen, Genni's succesor found the Chosen Digimon Hall, and a mesagge
from
his mentor saying that the last generation of digi destine will have to
face
the Digimon Destroyers. Time is running out.
It's a sunny morning in Tokyo and everyone is getting up to live their
day.
On an apartment bulding in downtown, a familiar face dressing up. It's
Tai,
his hair hasn't changed much, and he's all grown up now, living by
himself
and working as a profesional soccer player. He was wearing a blue polo
shirt
and some jeans. He walked over to his kitchen to the calendar and he
saw the
day it was.
Tai: Wow, it's been ten years since me and the gang went to the digital
world, where has all the time gone?
The former leader of the digi destine was remebering those days when he
and
the others were on a mision to save the world. All of a sudden, he had
and
idea.
Tai: I know, I'll call everyone and see if they remember too, who
knows?
Maybe we'll all end up celebrating at a local bar.
Then, Tai left his apartment and went down to his red convertible. He
turned
on the engine and wen't to the preschool where Sora was working. She
was
wearing a green skirt and a white blouse, and her hair had grown a
little.
When they saw each other, they hugged and kissed.
Sora: Hello darlin.
Tai: Hey there, how're the kids treatin you?
Sora: They still are sleepy, what brings you here so early?
Tai: Know what day it is?
Sora: What's so special about today?
Tai smiled and took out of his pocket his digivice.
Sora: Your digivice.
Tai: As of today, it's been exactly ten years.
Sora: Really?
Tai: I thought we could go out and celebrate. You know, the old gang.
Sora: What a great idea Tai.
Tai: How about in my place for dinner? You get Joe, Mimi and Izzy, and
I'll
get Matt, TK, and Kari.
Sora: It's a plan.
Tai: Don't forget to tell them to bring their digivice.
Sora: I won't.
In that moment one of the kids started crying, followed by the other
group.
Sora: Oh dear, Tai, before you...
When she turned back, Tai was already at the door and leaving.
Tai: Sorry Sora, didn't hear you, gotta run.
Sora: Ohh, sometimes he's so imature. Oh well...
Elsewere, TK and Kari were sitting on the grass in a park, looking at
each
other endlessly. TK had changes, a lot, he's now tall and had a hairdo
much
like his brother had when they were in the digital world. He was
wearing a
white shirt and grey pants. Kari on the other hand hadn't changed much,
she
only grew up. She was wearin some shorts and a yellow t-shirt.
TK: Kari, I...
Kari: I...
They were about to kiss, then all of a sudden somebody jumped over TK
and
made a headlock. TK was being choked.
????: What did I tell ya about my little sister?
Kari: TAAAIIII!!!!!
Tai: Come on, I was just kidding.
TK: Can't... breathe...
Tai: Oh, sorry.
Tai inmediately released TK and apologized. The classical water drop
was at
the back of Tai's head.
TK: Yeah "cough" how would you like it if I "couch"
did the same to you when
you and Sora were about to...?
Tai: I said I'm sorry. Geesh, can't you take a joke.
Kari: You know, some of us have actually grown up. You do know what
that
means, right?
Tai: Alright already.
TK: Any how, what brings you here.
Tai: Doesn't anybody know what day it is?
TK and Kari: Huh?
Tai: Today is the day when, excactly ten years ago, we went to the
digital
world, except for Kari.
TK: Hey, that's right, I completely forgot about it.
Tai: The whole gang will gather at my place for dinner to celebrate.
Kari: Cool, I'll bring the cake.
TK: I'll bring the sodas.
Tai: And your digivices too, ok?
TK & Kari: Ok.
Tai: By the way TK.
TK: Yes Tai?
Tai: Where can I find your brother?
TK: Oh, Matt? He's probably still asleep in his place.
Tai: What address?
After TK had given the address to Tai, they wen't their separate ways.
Tai
had arribed at the place TK had told him. He went and knocked on the
door
several times. Inside, Matt got up and yawned, a girl was at the same
bed he
was. She also woke up.
Girl: Who is it at the door hun?
Matt: I don't know, I'll go check.
Matt got up and walked to the door and opened it.
Matt: Yes, what do you... Tai?
Tai: Hey Matt... he, he, hahahaha.
Matt: Huh? What's so funny?
Tai: Your hair, it's all puffed up.
Matt: What did you expect? I just got up.
Tai: Your right, how've ya been?
Matt: Fine, what are you doing here? It's only 11:50am.
Tai: It's pretty late, you have company?
Tai tried to take a look inside Matt's house, but Matt came outside and
closed the door.
Matt: None of your businnes.
Tai: Boy, you're in a bad mood.
Matt: Get to the point Tai.
Tai: Know what day it is?
Matt: Tuesday, why?
Tai: Wrong, today is the day we left to the digital world ten years
ago.
Matt: Oh, that's right. You know, I have my digivice in a frame inside.
Tai: I have it in my pocket.
Matt: That's all you came to tell me?
Tai: No, the whole gang'll be at my place for dinner, wanna go?
Matt: I don't know if I can make it.
Tai: Come on Matt!!
Matt: Alright, alright, I'll try, but I make no promises.
Tai: That's good enough, bring your digivice, k?
Matt: Why?
Tai: Just bring it, ok?
Matt: Ok, see ya Tai.
After that, Tai headed to his apartment, he couldn't belive that the
digi
destine were gonna party at his place. He was trully happy, then he
felt a
little nostalgic remembering his friend Agumon.
Tai: Agumon, how are you doing my friend? Hope your ok.
In the evening, Sora, TK, Kari, Matt, Izzy, Mimi and Joe were waiting
for
Tai at the entrance to his apartment building. Matt had combed his hair
to
his tradicional hairdo and was wearing a black leather jacket and black
pants. Izzy was wearing a red silk shirt and a pair of white pants. Joe
was
wearing a brown suit, with a white jacket and stripped tie. He wasn't
wearing glasses. And Mimi had a ponytail and was wearin a brown coat
with a
tight blue miniskirt, she really looked sexy.
Joe: Great, of all the places we could have gone we had to go to the
house
of the one who is always late.
Izzy: Take it easy Joe, maybe he got stuck in traffic.
Mimi: Any way, he better hurry, I'm getting cold.
Sora: Don't worry, he'll be here.
Suddenly, the door of the building opened and out came Tai.
Matt: Tai, where have you been?
Tai: Upstairs, taking a nap, why didn't you guys go upstairs and knock?
Kari: We did.
Tai: Oh...
Everyone started to laugh. The insident was forgotten and the eight of
them
went inside. At Tai's apartment everyone was playing a game called
"Name
that digimon". Each one took a turn to describe a digimon and the
others
tried to guess who it was.
Joe: Horn, looks like a horse, attacked by a black gear.
TK: Fridgiemon?
Matt: No, he was a snowman.
Izzy: It's Unimon.
Joe: Right, you got it Izzy.
Kari: Ok, ok, my turn. Robot, two cannons, defeated by WarGreymon.
Tai: Gimme a break, it's...
Izzy: Machinedramon.
Tai: Hey!!
Sora: Right again Izzy.
Mimi: Leave one to us Izzy.
Izzy: Sorry everybody.
Everyone was having a good time, then all of a sudden a beam of light
came
from Tai's PC. Everyone turned around to look, then a portal opened.
Matt: What's... that?
Tai: I didn't know Windows 2000 could do that?
TK: Me neither.
Kari: It's a portal.
Mimi: To where?
Sora: Maybe...
Joe: Can it be?!
Izzy: Could it possibly go to...?
All: The Digital World?
The portal is open, now the digi destine's wish was about to come true:
To
return to the digital world. However, they don't know what lies ahead.
Will
they succed in their new mission?
