Tale of the Digimon Destroyers
Part 12
"ClawGreymon and SkullGarurumon's onslaught"
The digidestined
arrived at the Tower of Evil, thanks to Leviatmon's
sacrifice. They faced LuciferAngemon and Harpyamon, who were guarding
the
first floor of the tower. They were brutal, but the digimon were able
to
defeat them after all. They went to the next floor where they met
SkullGreymon and ShadowGarurumon, the last obstacles betwen the
digidestined
and Cancermon.
SkullGreymon: I can't
belive how far you've gone, we're impressed.
ShadowGarurumon: But
now it all ends, hand over the digieggs of our fellow
destroyers.
Tai: I don't think so.
Matt: We won't let you
take them that easily.
SkullGreymon: I was
hoping you would say that. Get ready!
Dark Shot!
The missile on
SkullGreymon's back was flying towards the digidestined, but
MetalGreymon stud in its way and hit it with his metal claw, making it
explode.
ShadowGarurumon: Let's
see you handle this.
Shadow Claw!
A dark beam was fired
from ShadowGarurumon's sleeves, as it also was flying
towards the digidestined. WereGarurumon stud in the way of this one and
deflected it with his Garuru Kick attack.
ShadowGarurumon:
Impresive.
WereGarurumon: You
ain't seen nothing yet, get ready for this!
Wolf Claw!
ShadowGarurumon tried
to block the attack, but it was too strong and sent
him crashing into the wall. SkullGreymon charges his counterpart, but
was
recieved by a brutal slash of MetalGreymon's metalic claw. SkullGreymon
countered with an equally destructive slash.
SkullGreymon: You
don't actually think you can beat me alone, do you?
MetalGreymon: I can
try.
The metalic dinosaur
headbutted the giant skeleton, followed by his special
attack.
Giga Blaster!
The missiles hit the
spot, making SkullGreymon fall to the ground. He
seemed defeated, but he got up easily, as if the attack didn't affect
him.
SkullGreymon: You will
not win.
WereGarurumon was
having trouble with ShadowGarurumon, because it seemed as
if the dark digimon could read his mind. Everymove WereGarurumon made,
ShadowGarurumon was ahead of him, either dodging or blocking.
ShadowGarurumon: You
make things too easy for me.
Suddenly,
ShadowGarurumon got smashed in the head, making him back out a
little.
WereGarurumon: Less
talk and more fight.
ShadowGarurumon
extended his arm and fired a dark beam into WereGarurumon's
chest.
Shadow Claw!
WereGarurumon fell to
the ground, stunned by the attack. But he got up, and
resumed the fight.
Cancermon was watching
the fight, with very angry eyes. He started to
wonder how the digidestined had gotten so powerfull.
Cancermon: Those
fools, I can't belive the digidestined had reached that
power. How did they do it?
He watched as the last
of the destroyers were getting beat up by their
counterparts. He started to think of a way to solve this dilemma. Then,
it
hit him.
Cancermon: If I don't
do something soon they both shall be defeated.
The leader of the
destroyers left the room and headed to the floor below.
The digidestined were
cheering MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon. They seemed
to be winning the battle. MetalGreymon had SkullGreymon backing of
constantly, and the destroyer's Dark Shot wasn't even a bother for his
oponent, since he just swings his metal claw and destryes it before it
hits
him. WereGarurumon now had ShadowGarurumon on the run, the evil digimon
didn't count on his opponent's resourcefullness, since WereGarurumon took
every oportunity ShadowGarurumon let his guard down to attack him,
sometimes
it was just a small hit, but he was getting more and more criticall
hits.
Black punch!
Garuru kick!
Both attacks clashed,
but WereGarurumon proved top be stronger.
ShadowGarurumon was sent into the wall. He was soon joined by
SkullGreymon,
who was knocked down by MetalGreymon's head butt. They were now
cornered, an
oportunity that the digimon didn't waste.
Giga Blaster!
Wolf Claw!
SkullGreymon &
ShadowGarurumon: DAHHHHHH!
It was a hit, followed
by and explosion. A thick cloud of smoke covered the
sight of the digidestined, when it cleared, an Agumon and a Gabumon
were
standing there, tired and probably injured.
Evil Agumon: You won't
win!
Evil Gabumon: We'll
fight to the end!
Sora: You might as
well give up, two rookies can never beat nine ultimates.
Domon: Ahem...
Sora: Oh, and one Domon.
Evil Gabumon: She's
right you know.
Evil Agumon: I know.
Evil Gabumon: What do
we do now?
Evil Agumon: I don't
know, I'll think of something.
Then, Cancermon was
walking down the steps that lead to the next floor.
Cancermon: Don't waste
that much energy, Agumon.
Evil Agumon: Oh! Sir
Cancermon.
Domon: Finally, I was
wondering when you would show yourself, we have a
score to settle.
Cancermon: Maybe
later, right now you have to defeat the destroyers before
you.
Joe: Come on, they're
beatne, you might as well give up.
The destroyer went to
where his fallen comrads were.
Evil Agumon: I'm sorry,
Cancermon, we failed.
Cancermon: Not just
yet, I have a little surprise for them.
Evil Gabumon: Huh?
Cancermon: Some time
ago, during the days of the war against Apocalymon,
there was a prophesy that told of and evil digimon king and a miracle
created by angels.
Izzy: I remember,
that's when we defeated Myotismon.
Cancermon: I analized
the records of that event very carefully, and I found
the thing I was looking for.
The digimon pulled out
the crests of Courage, Friendship, Hope and Light.
Cancermon: Arrows of
hope and light, shot to the loved ones of those they
are to protect. That means that punk bearing the crest of courage and
that
blonde one with the crest of friendship.
Domon: What are you
getting at?
Cancermon: Pacience,
my friend.
The crests of Hope and
Light in Cancermon's hand started to glow a purple
light.
Cancermon: Here,
Agumon, hold this.
The little destroyer
recieved the crest of courage.
Cancermon: Gabumon,
take this one.
The other one got the
crest of friendship.
Cancermon: Now hold
still, it might sting a little.
Evil Gabumon:
Cancermo?
Evil Agumon: What are
you gonna do?
Cancermon energized
his hands, making the crests of hope and light glow
even more. Suddenly, the crests fired a beam of energy towards the
destroyers, hitting the crests they were holding, wich began to glow an
intense purple. Suddenly, it happened...
Agumon warp digivolve
to... ClawGreymon!!!
Gabumon warp digivolve
to... SkullGarurumon!!!
ClawGreymon seemed
like WarGreymon, only he was much taller, he had the
original Greymon skin instead of the armor, and long arms, with long
hands
that had long fingers with sharp nails at the ends, that reached to the
ground with, like those of VenomMyotismon.
SkullGarurumon was
like a skeleton of WereGarurumon, walked on his hind
legs, with a purple heart inside it's ribbs. He also had two horns in
it's
skull. His eyes were glowing an eerie yellow.
Genkimon: What the
hell happened!
Domon: I don't know,
one minute ago they were rookie digimon.
Kari: Izzy, what
happened?
Izzy: I'm not sure
myself, but my guess is that Cancermon repeated the
event that happened when Angemon and Angewomon fired arrow at Tai and
Matt,
making Agumon and gabumon warp digivolve for the first time.
TK: Doens't he need
angels to pull that of?
Izzy: Not necesarilly,
he only repeated the energy event, The arrows hit
Tai and Matt, making their crests power up to a point that gave Agumon
and
Gabumon the energy to warp digivolve. He didn't need the angels, he
just
needed to power up those crests.
Cancermon: Hmm, I see
you're not so dumb after all.
The evil digimon
floated to the stairs, and left for his chambers, not
before saying one last thing to his last comrads.
Cancermon: Don't screw
it up.
ClawGreymon: Yes sir!
SkullGarurumon: You
got it!
MetalGreymon and
WereGarurumon dedigivolved back into Agumon and Gabumon.
Tai: Two can play that
game. Do it Agumon!
Agumon: Right. Agumon
warp digivolve to... huh?
Gabumon: Gabumon warp
digivolve to... Gabumon?
Matt: What's going on?
Izzy: I don't know,
they're supposed to be able to warp digivolve.
Domon: There goes that
word again.
ClawGreymon: Are you
finished? We're anxious to play.
Izzy: Let's see.
Computer, show data of ClawGreymon and SkullGarurumon.
Computer: ClawGreymon,
dinosaur man type, mega level, his special attack is
the Doomsday Wave, wich uses the dark energy around him to attack his
enemy
with a lethal extending wave of energy. SkullGarurumon, skeleton type,
mega
level, his special attack is the Skeleton Slash, wich uses the sharp
nails
on the ends of his fingers to slash his oponent.
SkullGarurumon: Are
you done with your school work? Let's party!
Agumon: We have no
choice. Agumon digivolve to...
Izzy: Wait.
Tai: You got a plan,
Izz?
Izzy: Maybe, but I
need time.
MegaKabuterimon: That
we can do.
Genkimon: Yeah, just
leave it to us.
Joe: Be carefull,
remember that they're megas.
Zudomon: We'll keep
that in mind.
Garudamon,
MegaKabuterimon, Zudomon, Lillymon, Angewomon and MagnaAngemon
attacked the destroyers. Meanwhile, Domon seemed confused, so did
Genkimon.
Domon: Koushiro, how
did the destroyers do that?
Izzy: They warp
digivolved.
Domon: And what's
that?
Izzy: It's when a
digimon gathers so much energy that he simply explodes,
digivolving to the highest level of digivolution, known as the mega
level.
Genkimon: And how did
they warp digivolve?
Izzy: My guess is that
Cancermon energized those crests, wich he then used
to power up the destroyers, resulting in a warp digivolution.
Tai: We already know
that! How come Agumon can't do the same thing?
Agumon: Yeah, I have
energy to spare.
Izzy: It's not that
simple...
Matt: What do you
suggest we do?
Izzy: I... I don't...
I don't know!
An explosion was
heard, making Domon turn around. It wasn't good, the
digimon just weren't a match for the mega destroyers.
Sora: Try attacking
them all at once!
Garudamon: It's worth
a shot, everyone!
Wing Blade!
Horn Buster!
Flower Cannon!
Celestial Arrow!
Gate of Destiny!
The destroyers didn't
even move, the attacks were useless.
ClawGreymon: I'll show
you a real attack.
Doomsday Wave!
The digimon were
pushed back and dedigivolved back into rookies.
SkullGarurumon: You're
dead!
Skelleton Slash!
The fierce attack was
just about to hit the digimon, suddenly, an energy
ball deflected the attack. The digimon turned around, the ball was sent
by
Domon.
Domon: I've just about
had enough of you two.
Genkimon: Count me in,
Domon!
SkullGarurumon:
Pitifull weaklings, I'll show you how useless you really
are!
The skeleton charged
at Domon, landing a solid hit on his chest. Domon
quickly recoverdd and counterattacked with a hook and a left jab.
SkullGarurumon grabbed him by his hair and threw him to the opossite
side of
the room. The warrior recovered, but he found himself being attacked on
the
back side by ClawGreymon.
Grey Claw!
Domon managed to catch
the gigantic arm before it hit him. Meanwhile,
SkullGarurumon was sparring with Genkimon, who was having a very
dificult
time with the destroyer.
Genkimon: I can't
belive how strong this guy is!
Domon: Hurry up
Koushiro!
Izzy: I'm trying, I
can't figure it out!
TK: What are we trying
to do?
Tai: Make Agumon and
Gabumon warp digivolve.
Kari: Why don't we try
to do what we did the last time?
Matt: Huh?
Kari: Why don't we
tell MagnaAngemon and Angewomon to shoot arrows at Tai
and Matt, it worked last time, didn't it?
Izzy: Last time, we
don't know if it'll work, what if we end up hurting Tai
and Matt?
Tai: I'm willing to
chance it, Matt?
Matt: It's good enough
for me, let's do it.
Kari: Gatomon, I know
you're tired, but try to digivolve.
TK: Patamon, do the
same thing.
Gatomon: I'll try.
Patamon: Ok, Tk.
Gatomon digivolve
to... Angewomon!
Patamon digivolve
to... Angemon!
Angemon: Whoa! I feel
dizzy.
Izzy: You wasted the
last of your energy to digivolve.
Joe: Make it count!
The angels took two
arrows and aimed them at Tai and Matt. The two brave
digidestined closed their eyes, hoping for the best.
Angewomon: Here goes
nothing!
The two angels threw
their arrows, then they digivolved back into Patamon
and Gatomon. The arrows hit Tai and Matt, wich created a bright light.
In
their chests the crests of Courage and Friendship shined like they've
never
shined before. The digivices lid up, and the miracle happened again.
Agumon warp digivolve
to... WarGreymon!!!
Gabumon warp digivolve
to... MetalGarurumon!!!
In that moment, Domon
was hit by ClawGreymon and sent flying. Suddenly he
was catched bu WarGreymon.
Domon: Huh? How are
you?
WarGreymon: I'm
WarGreymon, mega Agumon at your service.
ClawGreymon: Who are
these clowns?
SkullGarurumon: They
must be deluting, megas or rookies, you're still no
match for us!
MetalGarurumon: We'll
see about that.
The mega digimon
looked at each other. The digidestined were cheering their
mega digimon.
Tai: Go WarGreymon!!
Matt: Teach them how's
boss MetalGarurumon!!
ClawGreymon: Let's see
you handle this...
Doomsday Wave!
WarGreymon stud in
front of the wave and used his claws to disolve it, much
to ClawGreymon's surprise.
ClawGreymon: What!?
SkullGarurumon: This
can't be!
WarGreymon: Let's do
it, MetalGarurumon!
MetalGarurumon: Yeah!
Terra Force!
Metal Wolf Claw!
Both attacks merged
into one, making an enourmous ball of destructive
energy, wich flew right into the destroyers. The wall behind them had
fallen
and the ball of energy continued all the way into the sea. After the
catastrofic display of superior power, the last digimon destroyer
digieggs
were laying where the destroyers used to stand. The battle was finally
over.
Tai: All right!!
Genkimon: You showed
those guys who's boss!!
The digidestined
celebrated, all except for Domon, who was looking at the
stairway leading to the last floor, and Cancermon's chamber. Mimi
walked
over to him.
Mimi: Domon? What's
wrong?
Domon: It's time.
The celebration ended,
and all of the digidestined and digimon walked over
to where Domon was standindg.
Tai: Yeah, only
Cancermon is left.]
Izzy: Computer, show
data on Cancermon.
Computer: Cancermon, a
sword warrior type, ultimate level, his special
attack is the Star Pinsir, wich uses the claws on his fists to create a
powerfull whip like wave.
Matt: The final battle
against him.
Domon: I have a favor
to ask of you.
Sora: What is it,
Domon?
Domon: I ask that your
digimon do not interfere.
Digidestined: What!?
Izzy: I don't
understand.
Domon: Since I met
Cancermon when he was just a rookie Cocomon, we've been
eternal rivals, and lately we've been testing each other's strenght. I
now
realize what to fulfill my destiny and duty as a Shuto Elite, I must
defeat
Cancermon, but I must do this on my own.
Genkimon: But, why?
Domon: It's a matter
of pride, I don't expect you to understand, just grant
me this simple wish.
Tai: Well, sure, why
not?
Sora: Tai!
Tai: I think I know
how you feel Domon, I used to feel the same way when I
met a guy who joined the soccer team. It alwayes seemed like we were
competing, until the day when we challenged each other to a shot out.
Only
when the shot out was over, did I feel fullfilled.
Kari: Tai, that makes
no sense.
Domon: Makes perfect
sense to me.
Tai: Besides, I think
it's about time we finally see who's the best.
Cancermon or Domon.
Matt: Ok, we'll let
you fight, but if we see that you're in danger of some
sort...
MetalGarurumon: We
step in.
Domon: Thank you. This
goes for you too, Genkimon.
Genkimon: No way, you
said that we were going to fight Cancermon together.
Domon: Domon, this is
your friend asking you.
Genkimon: NO!
Domon: This is your
master telling you.
Genkimon: NO!
Domon: Now this is a
Shuto elite, making effective my right to command any
shuto clan force to whatever I deem necesary. And that is an oath that
you
cannot break.
Genkimon: Domon...
Domon: I'll be fine,
my friend.
Genkimon: Ok, but be
carefull.
The digidestined
started to walk up the stairs, both anxious and scared at
what might happen. They arrived at the chamber of Cancermon, where he
was
standing in the center of the room.
Domon: Cancermon...
Cancermon: Domon...
The two warriors were
now face to face. It was gonna be the final battle,
against the most powerfull digimon on the digital world. The
digidestined
were ready for anything. What will happen next?

actually
write a fan fiction. I'm thinking of making another one, but that'll al
be
in due time. Part 13, the ultimate battle betwen Domon and a new mega
digivolved Cancermon: MetalCancermon, and finally the crest of union
will
shine, making guess who? digivolve to mega. Keep those mails coming.
