Tale of the Digimon Destroyers
Part 3
"And now, the Digimon Destroyers"
Tai, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, Matt, TK and Kari were at Tai's apartment
celebrating the tenth aniversary since their arrival in the digital
world.
All of a sudden, a portal, most likely to lead to the digital world,
apeared
in front of Tai's PC.
Izzy: Fascinating, I never thought we could actually go again to the
digital
world again.
Matt: You knew about this Tai?
Kari: Is that why you told us to bring our digivices?
Tai: Hell no! I only told you to bring them because of our celebration.
Sora: Come on Tai.
Tai: I'm telling the truth!
Joe: Any way, now we have a hole hanging in mid air here, what do we do
about it?
Suddenly, a voice was calling from behind the portal.
???: Former digi destines.
Sora: Is he talking to us?
Izzy: I belive he is an it.
Joe: What do you want?
???: The digital world is in peril, we need you again. Walk through the
gate
and everything will be cleared.
Joe: I don't know about this.
Tai: Come on, what could happen?
Sora: Does the word Apocalymon ring a bell?
Kari: She's right you know.
Tai: Ahh, come on guys! I don't know about you, but I've always wanted
to go
back, who cares if there's a new evil digimon out there, we can beat em
like
we beat the Dark Masters and Apocalymon, what do you all say?
Every one was quiet for a moment, then Matt broke the silence.
Matt: Tai's right, we can't just leave the digital world in danger.
We're
the digi destines, remember? It's our dutty to defend it.
Mimi: Matt's right, I'm going.
TK: What the hey, if Matt's going then I'm going.
Kari: Me too.
Sora: Ok, I'm in.
Izzy: I'm going as well.
Joe: Oh well, I do miss Gomamon... a little.
Tai: Ok then, let's go.
Everyone grabbed their digivice and walked through the portal. It was
like a
roller coaster ride, all they could see was green to the left, red to
the
right, blue to the front and yellow to the back. When the ride had
finished,
they ended up at the Chosen Digimon Hall, just in front of their
digimon. At
the sight of their former companions frozen in the pilars everyone ran
to
their respective digimon.
Tai: Agumon!
Matt: Gabumon!
Sora: Biyomon!
Izzy: Tentomon!
Mimi: Palmon!
Joe: Gomamon!
TK: Patamon!
Kari: Gatomon!
Suddenly, the crest marks above each digimon started to glow and
magically
the cristal vanished, releasing the digimon.
Agumon: Where are we?
Palmon: M... Mimi?
Mimi: Palmon?
After every digimon got concious they ran to their respective partners
and
hugged.
Agumon: Tai! Your back!
Tai: Of course I'm back!
Gabumon: It's good to see your safe Matt.
Matt: You too my friend.
Biyomon: I thought I would never see you again Sora.
Sora: Same here Biyomon "snif"
Gomamon: Well Joe, we're back together.
Joe: Yeah, I guess so.
Mimi: Oh Palmon.
Palmon: Oh Mimi.
Tentomon: Is it really you Izzy? I'm not dreaming?
Izzy: It's me Tentomon, no dream.
Gatomon: I still have the whistle you gave me.
Kari: Gatomon...
Patamon: Wow TK, you've changed a lot.
TK: But it's me Patamon, I told you we would see each other again.
As the digi destine exchanged greeting with their digimon friends,
Tallen
walked towards them with a smile on his face.
Tallen: Greetings digi destines.
Everyone turned around and faced Tallen.
Tallen: I was wondering how I would free your digimon, but it seems you
already got the job done.
Gatomon: Who are you?
Tai: Where you the one that brought us here?
Tallen: Take it easy, only one question at a time.
Everyone then went quiet.
Tallen: Now then, my name is Tallen, I belive you know my mentor,
Genni.
Izzy: Genni? Where is he?
Tallen: He passed away not long ago at the hands of the Digimon
Destroyers.
All humans & digimon: Digimon Destroyers?
Tallen: Allow me to explain.
Tallen told them about the Digimon Destroyers and what has happened to
the
digital world.
Tallen: ... So I ran the program to open the portal and bring you guys
here,
and that's about it.
Patamon: Poor Ogremon and Leomon.
Sora: And what make you think we can defeat them?
Izzy: Since they are also chosen digimon, their powers are similar to
our
digimon, however since they're a new generation they're probably
stronger
than our digimon.
Tallen: Yes, but your digimon have something that they don't have. You,
digi
destines. Without a crest and digivice, they can't digivolve any higher
than
champion, wich gives you an edge.
???: Hehehe, you're wrong.
Everyone turned around at the source of the voice. All where surprised
when
they saw it was an Angemon.
Patamon: Huh?
TK: How can he be Angemon when Patamon is standing right here?
Evil Angemon: Hehe, I am Angemon, one of the Digimon Destroyers.
Tk: That can't be. Patamon.
Patamon: Right. Patamon digivolve to... Angemon!
Everyone was shocked at the sight of two Angemons facing each other.
???: Ha! He may be an Angemon, but he is not as strong.
Kari: Who said that?
Evil Gatomon: Me, Gatomon, another one of the Digimon Destroyers.
Kari: Huh? Gatomon?
Gatomon: Your just a fake!
Evil Gatomon: On the contrary, I am an improvement.
Evil Angemon: And If we go outside you'll find the rest of us. Hand of
Faith!
Evil Angemon's attack destroyed the ceiling and greated a cloud of
dust.
When it dissipated the digi destined looked up to a sight they shall
never
forget. The other seven Digimon Destroyers.
???: I am Greymon, second in comand of the digimon destroyers.
???: I'm Garurumon, one of the Digimon Destroyers.
???: As am I, Kabuterimon.
???: I am Birdramon, Digimon Destroyer of the skies.
???: Ikkakumon, ruler of the seas
???: My name's Togemon, Digimon Destroyer
???: And I am Cancermon, leader of the Digimon Destroyers.
I belive you all know the first six Digimon Destroyers, but this last
one
you don't. Cancermon is a warrior type digimon, looks like a human only
he
has two bull like horns coming out of his head. Has crimson red hair
that
goes all the way down to his waist and blue skin. He also has claws on
his
knuckles ala Wolverine.
Matt: I don't get it, they're the evolved forms of our digimon.
Tai: Except for Cancermon over there.
Agumon: They're not a problem, we can take em.
Tallen: Hold on, your out numbered and you're not at full strenght, you
won't be able to digivolve beyond champion.
Gabumon: He's right, we can digivolve to our champion forms, but not
further.
Joe: Then that'll have to do. Go ahead, digivolve!
Gomamon: OK.
Agumon: Agumon digivolve to... Greymon!
Gabumon: Gabumon digivolve to... Garurumon!
Biyomon: Biyomon digivolve to... Birdramon!
Tentomon: Tentomon digivolve to... Kabuterimon!
Palmon: Palmon digivolve to... Togemon!
Gomamon: Gomamon digivolve to... Ikkakumon!
Kari: What are you waiting for Gatomon?
Gatomon: Gatomon digivolve to... Gatomon?
Kari: Huh?
Tai: Why didn't Gatomon digivolve?
Tallen: Gatomon is already at champion.
Matt: I forgot about that.
Kari: Not a problem, you can take on that copycat, right Gatomon?
Gatomon: Yes.
Cancermon: Let's see, wich Destroyer shall take them on? Greymon?
Evil Greymon: My pleasure.
Evil Garurumon: No fair, it's my turn.
Evil Ikkakumon: No, it's my turn.
Cancermon: Oh, ok, fine, since I can't decide wich one of you will
fight
I'll do it myself.
Digimon Destroyers: What!!
Cancermon: Anybody have a problem with that?
The Digimon Destroyers all went quiet.
Cancermon: Good. Now then, who's first?
Tai: Teach him a lesson Greymon!
Greymon: Nova blast!
The enourmous fireball that came out of Greymon's mouth crashed and
exploded
right in Cancermon's face. However, it didn't even damage him, he just
stood
there, smiling down at Greymon.
Cancermon: Is that it?
Matt: Garurumon, go!!
Garurumon: Howling Blaster!!
Cancermon: How boring, Star Pincir!
Cancermon extended his hand and he waved his claw at Garurumon's
attack,
cutting it in half and hitting Garurumon. The impacto was so strong
that it
made Garurumon dedigivolve to Gabumon. Everyone was shocked at their
new
enemy's power.
Evil Birdramon: Give it up, sir Cancermon is an ultimate level digimon,
you
don't stand a chance.
Mimi: Tallen, is that true?
Tallen: I'm afraid so.
Tk: Well, I'm not giving up, go Angemon.
Angemon: You got it Tk.
Angemon charged at Cancermon and tried to punch him, but the enemy
dodged
the mighty blow.
Cancermon: Too slow, Angemon.
The angel got mad, then he started to attack endlesly at Cancermon, but
none
of his attacks worked.
Angemon: Hand of Faith!!
Cancermon: Oh please.
The evil digimon caught the attack in his hand and threw it back at
Angemon,
making him dedigivolve back into Patamon.
Tk: Patamon, are you alright?
Patamon: I'm... fine... sorry... Tk.
Tk: Patamon, Patamon!!
Cancermon laughed at the digi destine and his fallen digimon.
Cancermon: Now then, what will you do?
Tk: You'll pay for this.
Matt: It's no use, we can't defeat him, he's too powerfull.
Tai: But, what do we do?
Sora: The only thing we CAN do is escape.
Joe: How? I don't think their gonna let us go.
Izzy: He's right you know.
Mimi: But there's got to be a way.
Tallen: There's a teleporter in here that can take us to safety,
unfortunately someone needs to stay behind to destroy it before they
follow
us.
Tai: Forget it, I'm not leaving anybody behind.
??? & ???: We can do that.
From the shadows came Leomon and Ogremon, tired from their fight
against
Evil Gatomon.
Ogremon: I'll distract them while Leomon sends you on your way.
Joe: You know what's gonna happen, right?
Leomon: It doesn't matter what happens to us, you're the only ones who
can
defeat them.
Tai: Ok, everyone, dedigivolve and come with us.
Greymon: What?
Sora: You heard us, do it.
Birdramon: Ok, Sora.
Greymon and the other digivolved digimon dedigivolved back to rookies.
Cancermon: What? Your leaving? Already?
After that, Ogremon jumped from the hole in the ground and faced
Cancermon.
Ogremon: I'm your opponent now.
Cancermon: Oh please, I thought you did this one Gatomon.
Evil Gatomon: I'll make sure he doesn't get up next time.
While the battle begins, the digi destines ran to the teleporter.
Tallen: Ok Leomon, once we go in, destroy it.
Leomon: Yes, now hurry.
Tallen was the first one to enter the transporter, followed by the
digidestines. Once eveyone was gone, Leomon did what he had to do.
Leomon: Fist of the beast king!
With that, the transporter blew up, and the digi destines were safe...
for
now.
After this first encounter, the digi destines knew that they needed
more
firepower to defeat the Digimon Destroyers. Little did they knew, their
answer would come to them.
