Tale of the Digimon Destroyers
Part 5
"The ninth digidestined"
The eight digidestined
fled to the Shuto Forest to plan their strategy
against the Digimon Destroyers. However, upon entry to the forest, they
met
a watchout called Kamemon and a warrior of the Shuto Clan called Domon.
The
digidestined fought Domon so they could proced further into the forest.
The
digimon reached their ultimate level and managed to defeat Domon.
Meanwhile, the Digimon
Destroyers heard that the digidestied's digimon had
reached their ultimate level.
Evil Togemon: It's
true, my counterpart digivolved into Lillymon.
Evil Birdramon: And
mine digivolved into Garudamon.
Evil Greymon: This
could be a problem.
Cancermon: It already
is a problem Greymon. Soon they will reach the mega
level and then they will be the ones to be invincible.
Evil Ikkakumon: We're
doomed.
Evil Garurumon: How do
we fight them now?
Cancermon: Do not
worry, I have a plan. Kabuterimon, tell them.
Evil Kabuterimon: Me
and sir Cancermon had foreseen this and have planned
for the worst.
Cancermon: Obviously
we can't digivolve without a crest so the answer is
simple.
Evil Angemon: We just
go out and find a crest so we can digivolve?
Cancermon: Yes.
Evil Gatomon: That's
ridiculous.
Evil Togemon: As if
you could buy crests at a seven eleven.
Evil Kabuterimon:
They're right sir Cancermon, where do we find the crests?
Cancermon: The keeper
of the new crests is HolyMyotismon.
Evil Garurumon: Are
you suggesting we go against the Shuto Clan in their
forest?
Evil Greymon: I don't
mean any disrespect sir Cancermon, but have you gonne
bonkers?
Evil Gatomon: He's
right, the elite soldiers will never let us get even
near HolyMyotismon.
Evil Togemon: Not to
mention the digidestined, if their digimon digivolve
into ultimate, we're dead.
Cancermon: Fools,
don't you remember?
Destroyers: What?
Cancermon: Datamon,
show them.
In that moment,
Datamon generated a 3-D map of the Shuto Forest. A
transparent blue dome was sticking out of the trees.
Datamon: Ehem. The
village is surrounded by an energy field, a
characteristic defensive measure of the Shuto Clan. Inside this energy
field, digivolution is impossible, so the digidestined's digimon will
not be
able to digivolve from rookies...
Evil Kabuterimon:
While we're able to mantain our actuall forms.
Evil Birdramon: And
the elite soldiers?
Then, Cancermon threw
nine medallions, each of them with the marking of the
Shuto Clan. The Destroyers couldn't belive what they were seeing.
Cancermon: I took the
liberty of sending them on a permanent vacation. Now,
Togemon and Birdramon will come with me to the village.
Evil Greymon: Why
them?
Cancermon: Because
they need the experience, any problem with that?
All destroyers stud
quiet.
Cancermon: Good.
Greymon, you're in charge while I'm away.
Evil Greymon: Yes sir.
The three evil digimon
set journey to the Shuto Forest. Meanwhile, the
digidestined were arriving at the village.
Tallen: Are you a new
member of the Shuto elite?
Domon: Yes, I have
been one for a month now.
Izzy: And you are a
trainee, right Kamemon?
Kamemon: Yes, I am
Domon's pupil. Somehow I feel like I'm really attached
to him.
Agumon: Kinda like we
feel attached to our human friends?
Kamemon: I guess. Boy
it must be great to be able to digivolve like you
guys do.
Gomamon: It is, but we
get hungry and tend to over eat.
Patamon: That's right,
we need the energy to be able to digivolve.
Kamemon: They don't
feed us much here, I guess that's why very few are
selected to even try to make it into the elite. There used to be seven,
but
five of them were sent to negotiate a truce with the Digimon
Destroyers.
Right now there are only two of them. Domon and a very old digimon
called
Shogumon. He's pretty strong, but he's getting senile.
Domon: Kamemon!
Kamemon: Yes sir?
Domon: Speak of
Shogumon like that again and you'll really get it.
Tallen: We're here.
The village had houses
made mainly of straw and wood, there were around
twelve houses and a big house made of wood that stood in the middle of
the
village. There were other Kamemon training in the street and a smaller
variation called Enermon, who were the in training forms of the
Kamemon.
???: Hey you guys,
long time no see.
The digidestined
turned around and they saw their old friend Pixiemon.
Matt: Hey Pixiemon,
it's good to see you again.
Joe: How've ya been?
Pixiemon: Pretty good,
yep yep, training theses little fellas.
Kamemon: Pixiemon, you
know these people?
Pixiemon: Sure, I
helped them out when they were young digidestined
children, yep yep, I see you all grew up into fine young men and women.
Humans: Thanks
Pixiemon.
Pixiemon: Well, better
get going. I guess you'll meet HolyMyotismon. Don't
be scared, although he looks like your former enemy he's really quite
nice,
yep yep.
Pixiemon flew away
into one of the houses.
Domon: He's in charge
of training the rookies and in-trainings.
Tai: He must be doing
a good job.
Sora: Where are all
the grown ups?
Kamemon: They left on
their enlightment journey. All fully grown Shuto Clan
members have to leave the village and return once they have completed
their
inner quest.
Mimi: You did the same
thing Domon?
Domon: No, I haven't
digivolved yet into champion.
TK: You're still a
rookie?
Domon: No, I'm a...
???: Domon is special,
he will go on his inner quest when I see he's ready.
Everyone turned
around. Kamemon and Domon fell to their knees and bowed
their heads before HolyMyotismon. He looked a lot like his evil
counterpart,
he weared the same mask only it had bird wings instead of bat wings. He
was
also wearing a white vest like the ones monks wear. It was obvious that
the
digidestined were nervous. Tallen and HolyMyotismon shooke hands and
hugged
like they were brothers.
HolyMyotismon: Ah,
Tallen, so good to see you again.
Tallen: The feeling's
mutual HolyMyotismon.
When they let go,
HolyMyotismon turned to the digidestined.
Joe: Err, no offense,
but we'd like it if you'd keep your distance.
Matt: Yeah, not that
we don't trust you or anything.
HolyMyotismon: Yes, I
understand you fear me because of the evil I was in
the past. But rest assured that I was reborn and no longer am the
monster I
was. I am now HolyMyotismon, leader of the Shuto Clan.
Tallen: It's ok guys,
he's friendly.
Tai & Agumon:
"whisper" He better be.
HolyMyotismon: Oh,
where are my maners? please come in.
The digidestined
walked into the house that stood in the middle of the
village. There they found Shogumon, a ninja digimon, a very old ninja
digimon. Picture Genni, erase the mustache, open his eyes a little,
then put
on a samurai armor and paint his face white and you got yourselves a
Shogumon.
HolyMyotismon: This is
Shogumon, a member of the Shuto elite.
Izzy: If I'm not
mistaken Domon is also a member, right?
HolyMyotismon: Did you
brag to them Domon?
Domon: No master, my
pupil Kamemon did, and I take responsibility for him.
HolyMyotismon: Don't
be silly Domon, you did nothing wrong, neither did
Kamemon. He's still young and impulsive. He's also special, train him
well.
Kamemon could do
nothing but blush. The digimon then started laughing at
him, so did the digidestined.
A while latter, the
hole group was sitting at a table. HolyMyotismon took
from out of a little pouch nine tags, eight of them had crests.
Gatomon: Hey, they
look like your crests.
Patamon: That's right,
what does it mean TK?
TK: I don't know,
Tallen?
Tallen: These were
supposed to be the crests for the new generation of
digidestined, like you had your crest until you discovered your inner
power.
Agumon: That's why you
don't need your crests.
Matt: Oh, I get it.
Mimi: But what about
the new digidestined?
Tallen: They are still
on Earth, preparing thereselves until they are ready
to come to the digital world. But then the Digimon Destroyers came
along and
screwed everything up.
Kari couldn't help but
notice there was a ninth tag on the table.
Kari: Who's tag is
this?
HolyMyotismon: This is
the tag for the new digidestined, the digidestined
of Union.
Sora: And where's the
crest?
HolyMyotismon: In the
desert south of here lies a temple called the Temple
of Union. the crest is there.
Joe: How do you know?
HolyMyotismon: I
placed the crest there.
Izzy: HolyMyotismon, I
couldn't help but notice Domon, he doesn't apear in
my upgraded digimon enciclopedia. He has digimon abilities, but doesn't
seem
to have a type and he says he has never digivolved, IS he a digimon?
HolyMyotismon: Oh,
he's a digimon alright, although he's still in the
in-training level, he is incredibly strong, strong enough to be on the
Shuto
elite.
Tentomon: How come?
HolyMyotismon: Hmm,
it's hard to explain.
Before HolyMyotismon
started his explanation, and explosion was heard and
everyone ran outside, only to see the Digimon Destroyers Togemon and
Cancermon, with Birdramon landing besides them.
HolyMyotismon: What is
this? Who are you?
Matt: You don't know
him?
Tai: They're the
Digimon Destroyers.
Domon: What do you
want?
Cancermon: Oh, Domon,
long time no see, so you're in the Shuto elite? This
was unexpected.
Domon: Do I...?
Cancermon: Does the
word Karamon sound familiar?
Domon: Karamon!!
HolyMyotismon: Domon,
from where do you know him?
Domon: We used to play
together when I was young, without you knowledge.
HolyMyotismon: We'll
talk about that later. Cancermon!
Evil Birdramon: Refer
to him as Master Cancermon.
HolyMyotismon: I sent
embasadors to negotiate a truce, what have you done
to them?
Cancermon: Oh, nothing,
I only entertained myself with them, before I
killed them.
HolyMyotismon: NO!!
Domon: What do you
want?!
Evil Togemon: The
crests, now!!
Evil Birdramon: Then
maybe we'll leave.
HolyMyotismon: Out of
the question! You shall never have them.
Cancermon: Then I'll
have to take them by force.
Shogumon was in a
fighting stance, when HolyMyotismon turnd to him.
HolyMyotismon: No, old
friend, me and Domon will handle them, you help
Pixiemon to evacuate the village.
Shogumon only bowed,
then ran to Pixiemon and the group of Enermon and
Kamemon left the village.
Tai: Hey! We're still
here you know.
Matt: Yeah, our
Digimon can take them, no problem.
Agumon: That's right,
we can digivolve into ultimates now.
Kamemon: No, you
can't.
Digimon: What? Why?
Tallen: The village is
surrounded in an energy field that
keeps your
digimon from digivolving. They're useless here.
Joe: Why didn't you
tell us?
Tallen: I never
thought that the Digimon Destroyers would ever come here.
TK: Well, now you
know.
Kamemon: No matter,
Domon's with us, he'll protect us.
Cancermon: Ok, I guess
you and me will fight, huh old friend?
Domon: Don't ever call
me friend.
Cancermon: Oh, I'm
hurt.
Domon: NOT AS MUCH
WHEN I'M THROUGH WITH YOU!!
Domon attacked
Cancermon and both started to battle like the warriors they
were. Evil Birdramon and Togemon faced HolyMyotismon.
Evil Togemon: Give it
up, old mon.
HolyMyptismon: You'll
have to kill me if you want the crests.
Evil Birdramon: Ok. Get
him.
The two Digimon
Destroyers engaged in battle with HolyMyotismon, he used
the same attacks he had when he was evil, Crimson lighting and Grizzly
wings. Meanwhile, the digidestined were standing, watching the battle.
Matt: Man, I can't
belive how helples I am.
Sora: You've said it.
Gomamon: Hey Gabumon,
how come we can't help?
Gabumon: We're
rookies, we're no match for the Digimon Destroyers like
this.
Biyomon: Then let's
digivole.
Izzy: You can't, the
energy field surrounding the village won't let you
digivolve.
While the digidestined
discussed, the Digimon Destroyers were defeating
HolyMyotismon. Togemon light speed jabbed him and he crashed into the
house,
then both destroyers prepared to do their attacks.
Needle Spray!!
Meteor Wing!!
Domon, turned arround
and watched the attacks that would hit his helpless
master. He flew right into the path of the attacks. Cancermon didn't
like it
when he left their battle.
Cancermon: I hate
cowards. Star Pinsir!!
Now Cancermon's attack
was headding towards Domon as well. The three blasts
hit Domon and a loud scream of pain was heard. Kamemon couldn't belive
what
was happening.
Kamemon: DOMON!!!
Suddenly, a rainbow
light came from inside the house. The light engulfed
Kamemon and a miracle happened.
Kamemon digivolve
to... Kaioumon!
The digidestined were
stunned, so were the Digimon Destroyers. Kaioumon
looked a lot like as he did before, white skin, looked more like a
teenager
now, his hair grew larger. He also had a headband on.
Kaioumon: Now you're
in trouble.
Cancermon: Wait a
seccond, I thought you couldn't digivolve inside the
energy field.
HolyMyotismon: That
doesn't aply to members of the Shuto Clan. Get them
Kaioumon!
And so he did. He flew
right into Togemon and sent her flying. The impact
was so strong it made her dedigivolve into a Palmon.
Kaioumon: And you're
next.
The angry digimon
pointed to Birdramon. The bird digimon started to
tremble.
Cancermon: Let's go. I
have the crest right here.
So he did, the eight
crests were in his hands, he managed to get them when
Kaioumon got distracted.
Evil Birdramon: Let's
go before anything else happens.
Cancermon got the
unconsious Palmon and jumped aboard Birdramon. Before
they managed to escape, Kaioumon made one final move.
Energy bomber!!
The balls of energy
reached Birdramon's tail and burned it's tail feathers.
Then Kaioumon dedigivolved back into Kamemon and ran to Domon.
Kamemon: Domon, Domon.
HolyMyotismon, will he be ok?
Domon: Ngghh, are you
kidding?... Of course I'm gonna be ok.
Tai: All right!
Mimi: I don't belive
it.
Izzy: Kamemon
digivolved when Domon got hit, that means Kamemon is Domon's
digimon. Wich makes him...
Kari: A digidestined?
Matt: No way.
Yes way. The
digidestined were able to defeat one the Digimon Destroyers.
Altough they now have the crests, the digidestined found another ally.
The
tides have turned, how will this war end up?

Whew! Man, I'm beat, my brain just wouldn't come up with a way to fit
Kaioumon into the story, but I managed to pull it off, thank god. On
part 6
the digidestined'll embarc on a journey for Domon's crest, the Crest of
Union, and also a scoop at Domon's origin (Yes, he is human, but he's
also a
digimon, confused? All will be cleared up on part 6). I'm still waiting
for
