Tale of the Digimon Destroyers
Part 9
"Ivymon's revenge"
The digidestined
defeated Pteromon, one of the Digimon Destroyers who
threatned to destroy the digital world. They arrived at the temple of
Union
and Kaioumon digivolved into Genkimon to defeat the guardian of the
crest.
Domon finally got the crest of Union and now the digidestined were
returning
to the Shuto village.
At the Tower of Evil,
built over the ruins of Devimon's keep, the new
destroyers were shocked at the fact that Pteromon had been defeated.
Right
now only four destroyers were standing before Cancermon, who didn't
seem
very happy; Ivymon, ShadowGarurumon, VenomKabuterimon and
LuciferAngemon.
ShadowGarurumon was on
two feet, much like WereGarurumon, he was wearing a
coal black cloak, with a hood that covered his face, only his mouth
could be
seen. His sleeves were long enough to cover his hands and his legs were
not
visible, due to the cloaks lenght that extended all the way to the
floor.
VenomKabuterimon had
an aspect like that of a purple scorpion. He had a
vicios set of teeth, drowling acid. His needle wasn't any nicer.
LuciferAngemon seemed
like an Angemon with bat wings and goat legs. He was
covered in red furr and had a set of spiral like horns that sticked out
of
his head.
VenomKabuterimon: I
did not expect that the digidestined had this kind of
power.
LuciferAngemon: What
more proof do you want?
Cancermon: We clearly
underestimated the power of these digidestined and
got carried away by our new power, but that will not happen again.
In that moment,
Datamon showed up and walked towards Cancermon.
Datamon: Sir, you have
a call.
Cancermon: Tell who
ever it is to wait. Can't you see that I am planning
Pteromon's vengance?
???: How dare you
speak like that before me?!
Suddenly, Cancermon
turned around, and a silouete of a dark figure was
shining in front of Cancermon. The present destroyers bowed before this
being, so did Cancermon.
Cancermon: Yes, master?
???: Why haven't you
destroyed the digidestined?
Just as Cancermon was
about to talk.
???: You better make
it good.
Cancermon: Their power
is far greater than we anticipated, and now we just
heard that they have another ultimate digimon on their side, not to
mention
Domon who is becoming a continuing threat.
???: I too did not
foresee the coming of this hybrid warrior. You are to
take matters into your own hands. Destroy the hybrid and his digimon,
and
the rest of the digidestined will fall.
VenomKabuterimon: We
have yet another problem...
???: Do not give me
problems, give me solutions. Next time I call I better
have good news.
The silouete
dissapeared, then the destroyers stud up.
Datamon: Sir, who was
that?
Cancermon: That you
don't need to know. Where are the digidestined headed?
Datamon: The Shuto
forest.
Ivymon: Cancermon, let
me handle them. I have the perfect plan.
Cancermon: Do not
fail, Ivymon.
Ivymon: I won't.
The dark fairy flew
out of the chamber. Who was that figure that Cancermon
and the destroyers fear?
Meanwhile, the
digidestined were resting at the edge of the Shuto forest.
It was night fall and the digidestined were gathered around a camp
fire, all
except for Joe, Izzy and their digimon.
Enermon: That was
delicious. Thanks Matt!
Gabumon: Yeah, you out
did yourself this time.
Matt: It's nothing.
The rebel smiled, then
he turned to Domon and Mimi, who seemed to be
getting very close lately.
Domon: Hey Enermon,
try to digivolve, you rested all day, you should have
the power to do it.
Enermon: Ok.
Enermon digivolve
to... Kamemon!
Kamemon: Hey dudes!
I'm back.
The digidestined
clapped at the show off digimon. Sora hugged Tai and
kissed him on the cheek.
Tai: What was that?
Sora: Just a little
something for your bravery.
Tai: I got plenty of
that, huh?
Then, Joe showed up
carrying Gomamon, who has gone asleep. Joe didn't look
happy.
Kari: What's wrong?
Joe: Don't ask.
Izzy: Gomamon went
asleep while we were on watch and wouldn't wake up.
Gomamon: Huh? Hey keep
it down, will ya?
Joe: NOW YOU WAKE UP!
Gomamon: What's the
matter Joe?
Joe: That does it...
Joe went inside his
tent, followed by Gomamon, who ran out a couple of
secconds after he entered.
Gomamon: What's his
problem?
Tentomon: Maybe he
doesn't like digimon who sleep on the job.
Domon: Well, it's my
turn.
Domon stud up,
followed by Mimi.
Mimi: I'll go too.
Tai: I thought it was
me and Domon.
Sora cuddled next to
Tai and hugged him.
Sora: Are you sure?
Tai: Well... Go ahead
Mimi!
Domon went ahead,
allong with Kamemon. Mimi ran to Domon and wraped her
left arm around Domon's right. Matt pretended he didn't see anything,
but
the fact is it was killing him in the inside. A couple of hours passed
and
Matt was gazing into the fire, deep in thought. Suddenly, Sora showed
up.
Sora: Well, it's
almost our turn to stand watch, huh?
Matt: Yeah...
Sora: What's wrong
Matt?
Matt: Nothing...
Sora: Come on, you can
tell me, maybe I can help.
Matt: I don't think
so.
Sora walked across to
were Gabumon was sitting. He was still munching on
some food now chewed beyond recognizion.
Sora: Gabumon, do you
know what's wrong with Matt?
Gabumon: Yes, but he
made me promise not to tell anyone.
Sora: Gabumon...
Gabumon: Oh, allright.
Matt told me that he loves Mimi.
Sora: Oh, so that's
it.
Matt: Gabumon!
Sora: Matt, he told
me.
Matt: You're really
gonna get it now.
Sora: Wait. Matt, why
don't you talk to Mimi?
Matt: What good'll
that do? She's too hooked up with Domon.
Sora: Can you blame
her?
Matt: Huh?
Sora: Look Matt, you
really can't expect her to just walk by and fall to
your arms, things like that don't happen by themselves, you gotta make
them
happen.
Matt: And how do I do
that?
Sora: Talk to her,
tell her how you feel.
Matt went silent, then
Domon and Mimi walked over.
Mimi: He ya'll, what's
going on?
Sora: Mimi, Matt has
something he wan't to tell you.
Matt: What? Sora
don't...
Mimi: Oh yeah? What is
it?
Sora: Domon, come with
me.
Domon: Very well. Good
night Mimi.
Mimi: Night Domon.
Sora and Domon walked
away, then Sora turned around and faced Domon.
Sora: Ok, tell me,
what were you two doing out there besides standing
watch?
Domon: We talked a
little, then Kamemon got Palmon mad and I had to
separate them.
Sora: What did you and
Mimi talk about?
Domon: She told me not
to tell anyone.
Sora: I'm her friend,
you can tell me.
Domon: Very well, she
told me that she really hated that Matt acted like
that when she was around. She told me she had a crush on him for a very
long
time, but since he started a band and was getting popular, what ever
that
means, she thought that he wouldn't notice her.
Sora: I see. So she
didn't put the moves on you?
Domon: What?
Sora: Never mind,
thanks Domon.
Domon: Any time Sora.
Good night.
Sora went back to her
tent, quickly turning to see Matt and Mimi kissing
wich made her very happy.
In the morning, Domon
was leading the party allong with Tai and Joe. Matt
was behind with Mimi.
Tai: How much longer
Izz?
Izzy: We just entered
the energy field, in any minute now.
Kamemon: I can't wait
to tell HolyMyotismon that I digivolved all the way
into ultimate.
Domon: He will be very
happy.
When they arrived at
the Shuto village, it was like a ghost town. No one
was around, not even the early rissing Enermon. Something was wrong.
Domon: What is this?
Where is everyone?
Tai: I don't like the
looks of this.
Suddenly, an explosion
came from HolyMyotismon's hut. From the cloud of
dust came Tallen, Shogumon, carrying an unconcious HolyMyotismon, and
Pixiemon, leading the gang of Enermon.
Pixiemon: Run
digidestined! It's a trap!!
???: Oh, you ruined my
surprise.
Ivymon walked into
sight of the digidestined, smiling.
Domon: Oh, now you're
gonna get it Ivymon, no one, and I mean no one messes
with the Shuto clan and gets away with it!
Kamemon: You've said
it!
HolyMyotismon: Do...
mon...
Domon: Master.
HolyMyotismon:
Beware... the...
Matt: What's he
saying?
Suddenly, a gigantic
bee/wasp like digimon came from out of one of the
huts. It was Bumblebemon.
Ivymon: I brought a
little playmate for you, Domon.
Domon: Give me a
break.
Domon leaped at the
gigantic insect, however it was very agile and dodged
Domon. Then the digimon charged at Domon with it's sharp stinger. The
warrior reacted and got a minor cut on his shoulder.
Domon: I'm gonna get
you for that.
Shuto blast!!
The warrior landed a
solid hit on the digimon, deleting it. Then he turned
to Ivymon.
Domon: Next time,
bring yourself a better toy, cause not even ten of those
things could have been able to beat me.
Ivymon: Oh, how naive,
it's purpose was not to defeat you.
Domon: What do you
mean?
Suddenly, Domon
started to feel a minor stomach ache, then it grew larger,
making it unbearable.
Domon: Ahhh! What's
going on?
Ivymon: A very good
side effect, to me of course.
Mimi: What's she
talking about Izzy?
Izzy: I'll check.
The computer wiz took
out his hand sized computer.
Izzy: Computer, show
data on Bumblebemon.
Computer: Bumblebemon,
a bee type digimon, ultimate level, his sting is
said to have mind manipulating properties.
Joe: Mind
manipulating?
TK: As in mind
control?
Izzy: Oh no.
Domon was crouching,
putting his arms around his stomach. The pain had
gotten worse. He was screaming in pain. Suddenly, he got up, and
started to
laugh maniacly.
Kamemon: Domon?
The warrior turned
around and charged Ivymon, then.
Ivymon: Stop.
The warrior obeyed,
stopping on command.
Ivymon: Now show me
what you can do to these digidestined freaks, and
listen only to me, is that understood?
Domon nodded, he was
completely at the mercy of Ivymon.
Ivymon: Good, no
destroy them.
Domon turned around
and charged the destined, but he was stopped by
Shogumon. Domon waisted no time and grabbed the old digimon by the
neck, and
threw him out of the way.
Kamemon digivolve
to... Kaioumon!
Kaioumon hit Domon,
but didn't even move him. He only looked back at
Kaioumon and punched him in the stomach. Then Domon walked to the
digidestined and was preparing his special attack. The digidestined
started
to tremble.
Kaioumon digivolve
to... Genkimon!!
Genkimon threw Domon
right into HolyMyotismon's building. Domon just got up
from the attack and saw Genkimon with ferocious eyes.
Genkimon: Domon,
please, wake up!!
Shuto Blast!
The attack was
deflected by Genkimon with mayor effort.
Genkimon: Domon.
please, listen to me! You're my friend and master, I don't
want to fight you.
Domon: Jeje... je...
Tallen: It's no use,
unless the controler is defeated, Domon will never
stop.
Ivymon: I told you you
were gonna suffer big time for changing me into a
filthy Palmon. Ohh, how I hated that! Now it's my turn to make you
suffer.
Genkimon: Ivymon!
You're gonna pay for this!
Domon attacked
Genkimon with a wall breaking punch, Genkimon defended.
Genkimon: Domon,
please...
HolyMyotismon had
woken up, and was on his feet again.
HolyMyotismon:
Genkimon! Listen to me, he is not Domon, he is now a servant
of Ivymon, making him our enemy. Yes, I know it is painfull to fight a
friend, but you must fight back, and defeat him, it's the only way.
Genkimon went silent
for a seccond, then...
Genkimon: I got it.
Digimon, get out of the energy field and digivolve,
then come back and defeat Ivymon. I'll hold Domon off.
Tallen: But...
HolyMyotismon: I don't
like it, but we have no choice. Genkimon, you are
the only one who can stop him. Do your best.
Genkimon: Yes master.
Now go!!
Ivymon watched as the
digidestined tried to run away.
Ivymon: What are you
waiting for, servant? Stop them!
Domon tried to catch
them, but Genkimon didn't let him.
Genkimon: Sorry
master, but I can't let you through.
Domon: Grrr!
Then, Domon began
attacking Genkimon with a rain of punches. Genkimon could
block most of the attacks, but some still went through, and it wasn't
the
pain of the blows that hurt him, it was the fact that he was battling
his
master, and it wasn't no training, it was real.
Meanwhile, the
digidestined made it to the other side of the energy
barrier.
Matt: Man, I didn't
like the guy, but, fight Domon?
Tai: That does suck,
but we have no choice.
Agumon: What do we do
Tai?
Palmon: Poor Genkimon,
it must really feel horrible to fight his own
companion, I know I'd be if I had to fight Mimi.
Mimi: Don't say that
Palmon!
HolyMyotismon: It is
the destiny of the pupil to overcome the master. It
was inevitable. Of course, this is not the way I expected it to be.
Patamon: What do we do
TK?
TK: Bro?
Matt: Well, standing
here isn't gonna do any good. Gabumon, digivolve and
let's go.
Sora: Matt's right, we
have to do this.
Tallen: Go to ultimate
level, you all have fought Domon before and you know
how powerfull he can be.
Digimon: Right!
Agumon digivolve to...
Greymon!
Greymon digivolve
to... MetalGreymon!!
Gabumon digivolve
to... Garurumon!
Garurumon digivolve
to... WereGarurumon!!
Tentomon digivolve
to... Kabuterimon!
Kabuterimon digivolve
to... MegaKabuterimon!!
Biyomon digivolve

Tai: Let's go!
Meanwhile, Domon
slammed into the ground, hardly able to stand up. Genkimon
was almost crying.
Genkimon: Please,
Domon, stop.
Domon: Kiaee!!!
The hybrid's onslaught
had no end. Genkimon clearly had an advantage. Domon
usualy was very calculative in his attack. The Domon he was fighting
had
completely gonne berserk, like a wild animal trying to be tamed.
Shuto Blast!!
Genkimon recieved the
blast right in the chest. He just couldn't take it
anymore, he crashed into the ground. Domon placed one foot on
Genkimon's
chest and prepared another blast.
Flower Cannon!
Domon turned around,
but was sent flying into yet another hut in the
village. Lillymon flew to where Genkimon was and helped him up. Then
the hut
exploded and Domon jumped out of there.
Ivymon: Finally, you
arrived. Domon, dispose of them!
Domon charged at the
digimon.
MegaKabuterimon:
Everyone, evasive manouvers!
Domon had hit
MegaKabuterimon when he finished talking, crashing him into a
tree. Domon then unleashed a fiery amount of blows to the ultimate's
chest.
Izzy: MegaKabuterimon!
Garudamon: Leave him
alone!
Garudamon grabbed
Domon by the shoulders and threw him to MetalGreymon.
Giga...!
Before MetalGreymon
could finish, Domon flipped and kicked MetalGreymon
right in a missile war head, making the missiles explode before they
were
completely out of him. MetalGreymon dedigivolved back into an
unconcious
Koromon.
Tai: NOOOO!!
Domon started to laugh
maniacly. Meanwhile, Genkimon was standing up with
the help of Lillymon.
Genkimon: No, they'll
never defeat him.
Lillymon: We have a
secret weapon. MagnaAngemon!
MagnaAngemon: I'll
show him!
Gate of destiny!!
Domon stopped laughing
when he was sucked into the gate.
Lillymon: Sorry
Genkimon.
Genkimon: There was no
other way, right?
Suddenly, the gate
started to crack, followed by an explosion. The gate
shattered.
Domon: GIAAAAA!
Shuto Blast!
The special attack
crashed into MagnaAngemon and made him change back into
a Patamon. Domon seemed invincible at the eyes of the digidestined, and
HolyMyotismon was speachless. He had never seen this kind of power. Ivymon
started laughing, wich made Lillymon turn.
Lillymon: Why you
little witch, how dare you?
Ivymon: What are you
gonna do about it, huh?
???: She'll do
nothing, I'll do the trashing here!
Ivymon: Huh?
Garuru kick!!
WereGarurumon was
behind Ivymon. She recieved a hard hit. The digimon's
attack on Domon was merely a distraction to make Ivymon turn her guard
down.
Ivymon: Domon!!
But before Domon could
react. Zudomon and Lillymon finished her off.
Vulcans Hammer!!
Flower Cannon!!
Ivymon couldn't do
anything. She turned back into a digiegg.
Domon: ARGHHHHH!
Domon screamed in
pain, falling to the ground unconcious. Genkimon
dedigivolved back into a Kamemon and ran over to him.
Kamemon: Domon! Are
you ok? Answer me!
HolyMyotismon: He's
unconcious, the effects of the poison will wear off in
a couple of days.
Every digimon
digivolved back into rookies, then they ran to were Domon was
laying.
HolyMyotismon: Here,
give me that Koromon.
Tai: Will he be ok?
HolyMyotismon: Of
course.
Pixiemon helped
HolyMyotismon carry Domon to the medical hut, wich luckily
wasn't destroyed. At about the same time in the Tower of Evil,
Cancermon
wasn't happy about Ivymon's failure, and most of the destroyers were
trying
to leave the chamber, but VenomKabuterimon and Leviatmon didn't have
any
luck.
Leviatmon was the
corrupted digivolved form of Ikkakumon. It seemed like a
Zudomon with reptilian scales and a crocodile like tale. He replaced
the
hammer with a trident.
Cancermon: You!
VenomKabuterimon: Who?
Us?
Cancermon: I don't see
any one else here. Since you're the only destroyers
with any gut left, you'll intercept the digidestined before they reach
the
lake.
Leviatamon: Yes, sir
Cancermon, they shall not pass.
Cancermon: Failure is
not an option.
The two destroyers
left the chamber, leaving Cancermon to his thoughts.
