Part 6
"A night at the desert"
Tai and the other
digidestined arrived at the Shuto Clan village, where
they met HolyMyotismon and their old friend Pixiemon. Then all of a
sudden
Cancermon, allong with Birdramon and Togemon, apeared at the village.
The
digidestined digimon tried to digivolve, but the energy barrier
surrounding
the village made it impossible. Domon and HolyMyotismon tried to fight
the
Destroyers, but they were too strong. Eventually Birdramon, Togemon and
Cancermon hit Domon and that got Kamemon over the edge. He digivolved
into
Kaioumon and trashed the Destroyers, although they got away with the
crests.
In the Tower of Evil,
the Digimon Destroyers gathered after the insident at
the Shuto Village.
Cancermon: Domon and
his new digimon partner Kamemon were unforeseen
problems, they could turn out into an obstacle for our plans.
Evil Palmon: They
already are an obstacle! Look what they did to me!!
Among the sight of
their dedigivolved comrad the Destroyers laughed, exept
for Cancermon and Birdramon.
Cancermon: Silence!!
Evil Greymon: Forgive
us sir Cancermon.
Cancermon: Palmon, you
should now have the power to digivolve back into
your original form.
Evil Palmon: Yes...
Palmon digivolve to...
Togemon!
Evil Togemon: Man, now
that's something I don't wan't to do again.
Evil Ikkakumon: We're
finished, not only are the digidestined's digimon can
digivolve into ultimates, but now we have another digidestined with
another
digimon.
Evil Kabuterimon:
Don't panic.
Evil Ikkakumon: Why
not?!!
Cancermon: Yes,
although the digidestined now have a new ally, we now have
the crests that will allow us to digivolve further.
Evil Gatomon: Don't we
need a human to help us?
Cancermon: No, only
the crests.
Then the evil digimon
threw the crests onto the table before them. Then he
threw a digivice along with the crests.
Cancermon: Now we have
the power to destroy them. All of you shall
digivolve into ultimates.
Evil Greymon: Finally.
Cancermon: After
today, the digidestined shall never defeat us again.
Digimon Destroyers!! Digivolve!!
An evil light came
from the castle. Nothing good was gonna come from this.
Meanwhile, in the Shuto village, Domon went to HolyMyotismon's house to
meet
with the digidestined. Along the way he met up with Kamemon.
Kamemon: Hey Domon!
Domon: Oh, hello
Kamemon.
Kamemon: Are you
feeling ok?
Domon: Of course, it
takes more than that to seriously hurt me.
Kamemon: I'm sorry
about yesterday, you know I get very emotional
sometimes.
Domon: Never
apologize, remember Kamemon?
Kamemon: Oh! That's
right.
Domon: Besides, the
only thing you did was make me proud. You took out a
Digimon Destroyer, something very few digimon have done.
Kamemon: I guess I
did!
The two friends
continued their walk to HolyMyotismon. Upon arrival, the
two Shuto clan members exchanged greetings with the digidestined.
Tai: Hey Domon, how
are ya?
Mimi: How you feeling?
Domon: I've had worst
injuries before.
Agumon: Wow, you're
pretty resistant, for a in-trainning digimon.
Domon just smiled,
then came HolyMyotismon and Tallen. Domon and Kamemon
fell to one knee and bowed their heads.
HolyMyotismon: Rise,
Domon , and recieve this...
When Domon was
standing again, he saw that it was a digivice. He was
stunned, and the digidestined were only smiling, they seemed to have
expected this.
Domon: But master,
only the digidestined are allowed to have one of these.
HolyMyotismon: What do
you think you are then?
Domon: Huh? But I'm a
digimon.
HolyMyotismon: No,
you're not.
Sora: Then you mean
he's human?
HolyMyotismon: I
didn't say he was a human either.
Tai: Then, what is he?
HolyMyotismon: I never
told you about your origin, did I, Domon?
Domon: No, master.
HolyMyotismon: Then
now would be a good time to do so...
Let's flashback ok? A
long time ago, probably right after the defeat of
Apocalymon and the creation of the Shuto forest, a young woman came to
the
digital world. No one knows why she was there, or who brought her. One
day,
she stumbled across a dangerous digimon. She thought she was about to
die,
when suddenly another digimon apeared and saved her. It looked like a
man,
except for it's white skin. It was also wearing the traditional white
clothes that the Shuto elite wear. The digimon took the woman to the
Shuto
village. The woman asked for the digimon's name. It was Rogamon. Both
him
and the young woman started a new life in the Shuto village, but one
day the
Shuto council of elders decided that the human had to leave the
village.
Rogamon didn't accept this and left with her. Sometime later, the woman
gave
birth to a baby, Rogamon's baby. One day, an evil digimon apeared and
challenged Rogamon to a duel. Rogamon accepted, fought, and lost, lost
more
than a battle, his life. The woman escaped with the baby to the
village, but
the evil digimon injured her before she escaped. She managed to make it
to
the Shuto village, there HolyMyotismon found her.
HolyMyotismon: ... Her
last words were: Take care of Rogamon's son. The
woman passed away. In the ceremony where the new generation of Shuto
warriors was presented, the baby was named...
Kamemon: Domon?
HolyMyotismon: Yes.
Izzy: Prodigious, it
makes perfect sense now. He looks like a human because
he's half human, but he's also part digimon, wich explains his
extraordinary
abilities. He's a halfbreed, a human/digimon hybrid.
Gabumon: That explains
why he has never digivolved.
Domon:...
HolyMyotismon: In
time, I began to see that you grew up like a human did,
but had a digimon's atributes. I then took you in as my pupil. I found
out
that the digivice could work with you, but I didn't know wich digimon
was
going to be your partner, until yesterday.
Kamemon smiled.
Matt: Oh, I see, the
same thing happens to our digimon when we're in
danger, they digivolve to save us.
HolyMyotismon: Of
course, you'll also need this.
HolyMyotismon handed a
tag to Domon.
Domon: Master, this
is...
HolyMyotismon: Your
inner quest beggins now, Domon. You must aid the
digidestined to defeat the Digimon Destroyers, but before that, you'll
need
your crest.
Domon: The temple of
Union?
HolyMyotismon: I
suppose you remember how to get there.
Domon: Of course.
Kamemon: Hey! Don't
forget about me.
Kari: That's right,
Kamemon'll be the one that benefits from your crest.
He'll be able to digivolve even further.
Kamemon: All right!!!
Domon: Ehemm.
Kamemon: Oh... sorry
master.
Everyone laughed, then
HolyMyotismon and Domon hugged.
HolyMyotismon: I
always considered you as a son, now make me proud, Domon.
Domon: I will, master.
Tallen: I'll stay here
for a while longer. You guys go get that crest.
Digidestined including
Domon: Right!
Then the entire group
left the village heading south, for that crest of
Union. A while latter they got to the edge of the forest, there both
Domon
and Kamemon stopped.
Kamemon: It's the
first time I leave the forest, I'm kinda nervous.
Agumon: Don't be,
Kamemon.
Palmon: We felt the
same way when we left File Island a long time ago.
Gomamon: But there's a
hole new world out there.
Kamemon: Thanks guys,
I'm glad you're there for me.
Domon smiled at
Kamemon, then he turned his sight to Tai.
Domon: Are you the
leader?
Tai: Last time I
checked, yeah.
Domon: Where do we go?
Matt: Well, we need
your crest to make Kamemon digivolve into an ultimate
digimon.
Joe: So we're going to
this Temple of Union, right?
Sora: I guess. Well
Tai...
Sora then grabed Tai's
arm and leaned on it.
Sora: Lead the way.
Tai: Oh, hum... Izzy?
Izzy: According to the
map, the Temple is that way.
Izzy pointed out to
the desert, something the others didn't like, they
recalled the days they fought Etemon in his desert and it wasn't
exactly a
good memory.
Domon: Well, let's go.
Domon and Kamemon were
the first to walk into the desert. The others
followed. They walked and walked and walked, until the wind started to
blow
harder and harder.
Matt: Tai!
Tai: What?
Matt: We need to find
shelter, a storm is coming.
Sora: How do you know?
Izzy: It's obvious,
the wind is increasing.
Everyone looked
around, but couldn't see anything.
Joe: Nothing, we might
as well dig a hole and hide there.
Domon: I don't think
so. Wait for me here.
The hybrid started to
float higher into the skies and flew away. He then
returned and pointed west.
Domon: There's a
cavern that way. We can get there in about two hours.
Matt: Nothing closer.
Domon: Nope.
Joe: Well, let's go.
Tai: Hey! That's my
line.
The nine digidestined
hurried to the cavern. When they arrived, the storm
had gotten worst and everyone went inside the cave.
Tai: Ok Agumon, seal
this place up.
Agumon digivolve to...
Greymon!
Nova blast!
The explosion caused a
cave-in and the digidestined were safe.
Matt: Whoa, it's
pretty dark in here.
Joe: Hey! Who's
touching me?
Gomamon: I'm scared
Joe.
Joe: That's no reason
to hold on to that!
Gomamon: But I need a
hug!
Tai: Control
yourselves!
Domon: That better not
be you Kamemon.
Mimi: Sorry, I can't
find Palmon and you're the only one close to me.
Domon: Oh, very well.
Kamemon: Hey! check
this out!
Suddenly Kamemon
created a bright ball of energy that iluminated the entire
room. Everyone seemed to be ok and Greymon dedigivolved back into
Agumon.
Sora: Neat trick
Kamemon.
Kamemon: Thanks.
Domon: You can let go
now miss...
Matt: That's right,
Domon doesn't know our names.
Domon: No, I actually
don't.
Tai: Ok, I'm Taichi,
just call me Tai.
Sora: I'm Sora, Sora
Takenouchi.
Matt: Yamato, or Matt.
Izzy: Koushiro Izumi,
you can call me Izzy.
Mimi: Mimi Tachikawa.
Joe: I'm Joe.
Kari: Hikari, Tai's
younger sister. Call me Kari.
TK: And I'm TK, Matt's
brother.
Domon: It's good to
know your names.
Kari: So, do you want
us to give you a human name? Since you are part human
and Domon is a pretty weird name for a human.
Domon: Thank you for
the offer, but no. I may be human, but my name is and
will always be Domon.
Izzy: So, Domon, how
long will we be in here.
Domon: The storm will
calm down at night, then I will open up the cave and
me and Kamemon will take the first watch.
Tai: Sounds ok to me,
anyone have any objections?
After that, everyone
just waited for the storm to clear. Around two hours
passed and the storm finally ceased.
Matt: Ok Gabumon,
digivolve and blast that wall.
Domon: No, your
digimon need their strenght to digivolve.
Palmon: Then who'll
open it?
Kamemon: Domon will.
Domon: Stand back.
The warrior then
placed both hands on the right side of his waist, energy
started to gather there, then he extended his arms forward, opened up
his
hands, palms facing the wall, then a tremendous ray of energy was fired
and
the wall was turned to rubble.
Domon: Shuto Blast!!
Everyone: Wow!!
Palmon: Amazing, right
Mimi?
Mimi: Yeah, If only we
could do that.
Izzy: Domon's digimon
half enables him to have that power.
Domon only blushed, he
wasn't used to being praised.
Domon: ... whatever.
Night had fallen and
everyone decided to have dinner. Everyone was munching
away at the fruit they took from the Shuto forest before they left,
everyone
except for Domon.
Mimi: Hey Do, aren't
you gonna eat something?
Domon: Who's Do?
Mimi: Oh, sorry,
Domon, I meant you.
Domon: I'm not hungry,
thank you.
Tentomon: I've been
meaning to ask you something Domon.
Domon: Yes, Tentomon?
Tentomon: How strong
are you anyway?
Kamemon: Pardon?
Matt: You know Domon,
how powerfull can you be?
Domon: I'm not sure, I
can easily take down a champion, and a couple of
ultimates too..
Izzy: I'll make it an
easier question, who was the strongest digimon you've
ever faced?
The warrior started to
think, then he answered.
Domon: It used to be
my master, HolyMyotismon, but since I faced
Cancermon...
Sora: You started to
have doubts.
Domon nodded.
Izzy: Then you
probably have the level of a high experienced ultimate
digimon.
Kamemon: Domon's the
strongest digimon I have ever known, he's invincible.
Domon: Don't be
foolish, once we have the crest, you'll be able to
digivolve to a more powerfull digimon.
Sometime later, Domon
was on his watch, then Mimi came from out of the
cave. Before she could talk to him, Domon spoke.
Domon: Can't sleep?
Mimi: No, It's my turn
to watch out.
Kamemon: All right, I
was starting to get sleepy, good night miss Mimi,
good night master Domon.
Domon: Good night
Kamemon.
The little guy walked
into the cave and layed down next to Patamon.
Domon: Well. I better
get some sleep too.
Before Domon entered
the cave, Mimi called him.
Mimi: Domon?
Domon: What is it miss
Tachikawa?
Mimi: Oh, you
remembered my last name, no one except my family and teachers
remembered it.
Domon: I have a good
memory miss Tackikawa.
Mimi: Oh, just call me
Mimi, I hate formalities.
Domon: Very well,
Mimi.
Domon then sat down
next to Mimi. Neither of them knew what to say, then
Domon broke the silence.
Domon: Tell me, Mimi,
what was it like when you came to the digital world?
Mimi: Oh, you mean the
battle against the Dark Masters?
Domon: Yes.
Mimi: Well...
Then Mimi told Domon
the hole story. Since they came to the digital world,
to the search for the eight child, and the final battle against
Apocalymon
and the Dark Masters. Domon was intrigued.
Domon: Wow, but I
don't understand something. My master was evil?
Mimi: Oh no, the
Myotismon we fought was evil to the bone, but your master
is a nice digimon, completely different.
Domon: I see.
Mimi started to lean
on Domon's shoulder. The warrior got nervous and
confused.
Domon: Excuse me, what
are you doing?
Mimi: I'm just
resting, being on watch is very boring, it's so nice to have
company. You will stay here, right? You won't leave me?
Domon: Err, I...
For the first time
ever, Domon was speacheless. Then, with all of his
might, he answered.
Domon: Of course not?
Mimi: Thank you...
Domon.
And there they stayed.
Meanwhile, evil shadows were spying on the
digidestined.
???: Let's take em out
now.
???: No, we wait until
sun up.
???: Why??
???: Because I have
bad night vision and I say so, anyone have a problem
with that??
The evil shadows were
watching the digidestined's every move. Who were
they? Could they have been sent by the Digimon Destroyers? And, how
will
this new friendship betwen Domon and Mimi turn out? The crest is near,
and
time is running out.

Hello again. This will probably have the "most boring part of a
fic" award,
I couldn't fit in a fight or anything like that, but part 7 will be
full of
it. The new and improved Digimon Destroyers show their face, and things
just

mistake I made in part 4. I forgot the name of Garudamon's attack and
my
sister told me it was "Fire Blaze", but soon after I saw a
digimon episode
and it was "Wing Blade". Again, sorry about that. As always,
