Tale of the Digimon Destroyers
Part 11
"Welcome to the Tower of Evil"
The digidestined left the Shuto village towards the Tower of Evil, hideout
of the remaining Digimon Destroyers. They arrived at a lake and decided to
rest so that they'll be at full power when they face the destroyers.
Leviatmon apeared but despite he was a destroyer, he wanted to make peace
with the destined. Now they had a guide to the Tower of Evil.
In Cancermon's chamber, the evil leader of the destroyers was meditating.
Suddenly, the creature that talked to him earlier apeared again.
Cancermon: Master...
???: Don't master me, you inept fool, why are the digidestined still alive?
Cancermon: It's being taken care of.
???: By who?
Cancermon: Does it matter?
???: DO NOT TOY WITH ME!! I'M IN A VERY BAD MOOD TODAY!
Cancermon: By VenomKabuterimon and Leviatmon.
???: I hope you realize that they're heading this way.
Cancermon: I'm aware.
???: Good, expect the unespected. Don't make the same mistake my imbecile
brother Apocalymon did.
Cancermon: I will not fail.
???: Let us hope so.
The image banished. "imbecile brother Apocalymon" thought Cancermon.
Cancermon: I can't belive that Apocalymon is my master's brother. Now I see
why he wants the digidestined destroyed: Revenge.
The leader of the destroyers left his chambers, running into
ShadowGarurumon, LuciferAngemon and Harpyamon.
Harpyamon is the evil form of Angewomon. She doesn't have any hands, just a
pair of wings and a wicket set of eagle like claws instead of feet.
Cancermon: We need to talk.
LuciferAngemon: About what Cancermon?
Cancermon: The digidestined are coming this way.
Harpyamon: So what? Let them, we'll squish them like bugs.
ShadowGarurumon: It won't be so easy.
Cancermon: Correct. They now outnumber us, but we have the advantage of
power on our side. Split up into two groups. Harpyamon, guard the entrance
along with LuciferAngemon.
ShadowGarurumon: And me?
???: Don't forget about me.
Cancermon: Ah, at last, I was wondering when you would wake up.
From the shadows came... SkullGreymon? Yes, it was him. He hadn't changed,
he was still the same skeleton like creature he was before.
SkullGreymon: It feels good. How long was I asleep?
Cancermon: Since you digivolved. Funny, you were the only one who went
unconcious.
SkullGreymon: But now I'm back, better than ever.
Cancermon: You'll guard the second floor along with ShadowGarurumon.
SkullGreymon: All right.
The Digimon Destroyers left the room, leaving Cancermon.
Cancermon: I doubt that they'll win, but I have a little surprise for them
Cancermon looked down to his hand and saw the eight tags and crests, with
an evil laugh.
Meanwhile, the digidestined were already up and ready to leave just as
Leviatmon showed up.
Leviatmon: Are you guys ready?
Tai: Yeah, let's get it over with.
The digidestined climbed aboard Leviatmon's back and sailed away into the
lake. As they traveled, Joe began to remember how seasickness feels.
Joe: Ugh, I don't feel so good.
Mimi: Oh no, mister, aim that mouth of yours somewhere else.
Gomamon: Take it easy Joe.
Joe: I can't, I'm gonna...
Mimi: Ewww!
Gomamon: That's it Joe, let it all out.
Tai, Matt, Izzy, Domon and their digimon partners were closer to
Leviatmon's head and didn't notice the trouble back there.
Izzy: So Leviatmon, who are the other destroyers?
Domon: And what can we expect at the Tower of Evil.
Leviatmon: Well, besides me and VenomKabuterimon, there's LuciferAngemon,
who digivolved with the crest of Hope. Harpyamon, with the crest of Light.
ShadowGarurumon, with the crest of Friendship. SkullGreymon...
Tai & Agumon: SkullGreymon!!
Leviatmon: You know the guy?
Tai: You could say that, yeah.
Leviatmon: Well, he's been dorment since he digivolved, so he probably
won't give you any trouble. The one you should look out for are
ShadowGarurumon and Cancermon, they're the most powerfull destroyers. The
other two are a bit stronger than me and VenomKabuterimon, but that's about
it.
Domon: Cancermon, he's ours, right Kamemon?
Kamemon: Yep, he doesn't stand a chance.
Izzy: And how is the Tower of Evil?
Leviatmon: Basically, it's only three floors, but each one is as big as a
mansion, making it pretty tall. Cancermon's chamber is on the last floor.
Kari: Land hoe!
TK: Whoa! Look at that!
Patamon: It's huge!
Leviatmon: That's the Tower of Evil, on the sumit of infinity mountain.
The digidestined arrived at the shore, where they ordered their digimon to
digivolve into champions, so they could climb the mountain more easily.
Agumon digivolve to... Greymon!
Gabumon digivolve to... Garurumon!
Tentomon digivolve to... Kabuterimon!
Biyomon digivolve to... Birdramon!
Gomamon digivolve to... Ikkakumon!
Patamon digivolve to... Angemon!
Palmon digivolve to... Togemon!
Kamemon digivolve to.. Kaioumon!
Each digidestined got onto his digimon. Kari jumped with Tai aboard
Greymon, and Kaioumon was flying along with Domon. Leviatmon led the
digidestined half of the way, where they encountered VenomKabuterimon.
VenomKabuterimon: Well, well, well, nice job Leviatmon.
Sora: What?
Mimi: No, it can't be.
VenomKabuterimon: Ah, but it can. Leviatmon, finish them off, now!
Leviatmon turned around, facing the digidestined, pulled out his trident
and just stood there.
Kaioumon: I knew we couldn't trust him!
VenomKabuterimon: What are you waiting for?
Leviatmon suddenly turned around and swung his trident, creating a masive
wave of thunderbolts.
Sea of thunder!
Leviatmon's attack was countered by a blast of poison from
VenomKabuterimon's tail.
Venomous spout!
VenomKabuterimon: What the hell are you doing?
Leviatmon: I'm helping my friends, what does it look like I'm doing?
VenomKabuterimon: Friends? Your a Digimon Destroyer! You don't have any
friends!
Leviatmon: Everyone, get to the tower, I'll take care of VenomKabuterimon.
Matt: Wait a seccond...
Mimi: We can't leave you here!
Leviatmon: I'll be alright, now go!
Tai: Come on!
The digidestined left their new found friend. VenomKabuterimon seemed
dissapointed at Leviatmon.
VenomKabuterimon: Traitor, I knew from the very beggining that you were
never cut out to be a destroyer!
Leviatmon: You're right, so I guess I'm now just another digimon who is
against you, so let's rumble!
VenomKabuterimon bursted with anger, attacking his comrad with his sharp
tail.
Poison Sting!
Leviatmon was fighting him of with his trident, but suddenly, his trident
was sent flying into the air, allowing VenomKabuterimon a clear shot at
Leviatmon. Leviatmon was hit in the shoulder, then he dropped to one knee.
VenomKabuterimon: Too bad your digidestined friends aren't here to help you
out, and since you're harmless without your trident you might as well beg
for mercy. Tough luck, eh?
Then, Leviatmon's trident fell from the air, cutting his tail and thrusting
into VenomKabuterimon's body all the way from his back into the floor. He
was litteraly stacked to the ground.
Leviatmon: Yes, tough luck indeed.
VenomKabuterimon: Why... Leviatmon...
The evil insect digimon turned into a digiegg.
Leviatmon: Better to die a chosen digimon than to live as a destroyer.
And those were Leviatmon's last words. He turned into a digiegg, wich roled
over next to VenomKabuterimon's.
At that time, the digidestined had reached the top of infinity mountain,
and were now at the gates of the tower.
Tai: Ok guys, were here.
Domon: Cancermon is in there somewhere.
Kaioumon: He better be hiding, cause I'm gonna kick his...
Izzy: We should be carefull, Cancermon isn't the only destroyer left, we
still have to worry about SkullGreymon, ShadowGarurumon, LuciferAngemon and
Harpyamon.
Joe: Great, more stress, I don't think I can take it.
Kari: We have to, everyone is counting on us.
Matt: Things would be a lot easier if our digimon could warp digivolve.
Sora: No kidding, we would have made short work of the destroyers a lot
sooner.
Domon: Warp digivolve?
Izzy: I'll explain later, right now we should prepare for our battle.
Greymon: Let's digivolve, we should be in ultimate form before we take on
the destroyers.
Mimi: Good idea, do it guys!
Tai: Hey! I'm supposed to say that!
Mimi: Well, go right ahead then.
Tai: Ahem... Do it guys!
Digimon: Right!
Greymon digivolve to... MetalGreymon!!
Garurumon digivolve to... WereGarurumon!!
Kabuterimon digivolve to... MegaKabuterimon!!
Birdramon digivolve to... Garudamon!!
Togemon digivolve to... Lillymon!!
Ikkakumon digivolve to... Zudomon!!
Gatomon digivolve to... Angewomon!!
Angemon digivolve to... MagnaAngemon!!
Kaioumon digivolve to... Genkimon!!
Just when the digimon finished, the door opened. It was suspicious, so they
decided to take a peek first. Seeing that it was safe, they went in.
Suddenly, two maniacle laghs started to be heard all over the room. Then,
LuciferAngemon apeared before the digidestined.
LuciferAngemon: Hello, I was expecting you. I am LuciferAngemon, your host.
TK: LuciferAngemon?
Izzy: Let's see. Computer, show data on LuciferAngemon.
Izzy's pocket computer started to make it's no known beeping sounds, then
the destroyer's profile was shown.
Computer: LuciferAngemon, infernal beast type, ultimate level, his specill
attack is the Crimson Fist, wich concentrates energy on his hand then fires
it in a violent power beam, similar to the hand of faith.
MagnaAngemon: In other words, your just a big copycat.
LuciferAngemon: No, I'm an improvement over you, I thought you already told
them Harpyamon.
Harpyamon: I did, but they don't seem to remember.
Angewomon: Harpyamon?
Harpyamon: Well, hello there sweetie, long time no see.
Izzy: Computer, show data on Harpyamon.
Computer: Harpyamon, infernal beast type, ultimate level, her special
attack is the Wind of Destruction, wich creates hundreds of wind sheers that
go so fast that they cut everything they touch.
Tai: So these are the gate keepers, where are the others?
Harpyamon: Well, ShadowGarurumon is on the next floor, along with
SkullGreymon. Our leader Cancermon is on the top floor.
Matt: Five to go.
LuciferAngemon: You'll regret ever challenging us. Who will be our
opponents?
Domon: We should pick some digimon to fight these and leave the others to
fight the next ones.
Mimi: Any suggestions?
Tai: Well, against SkullGreymon we'll need MetalGreymon.
Matt: And against ShadoGarurumon we'll need WereGarurumon.
Domon: Me and Genkimon will fight these ones.
Genkimon: It'll be a good warm up for our battle with Cancermon.
MagnaAngemon: I'll fight here too.
Angewomon: Me too.
Garudamon: I'll help out here too.
Sora: I don't know.
LuciferAngemon: Well? I'm waiting.
Domon: I'll be your opponent.
MagnaAngemon: As shall I.
Harpyamon: And who will go against me?
Angewomon: I'll take you down, copycat!
Garudamon: And I'll make sure you stay down.
Genkimon" I'm just here for the fight.
LuciferAngemon: Oh! I forgot, you can't get to the next floor without our
keys.
LuciferAngemon pulled out a shining key, so did Harpyamon. The digidestined
had to wait for the other digimon to defeat them.
Harpyamon flew into the air, then she prepared her special attack.
Wind of Destruction!
Extremely fast wind sheers were cutting Garudamon and Angewomon. Genkimon
managed to escape and charged at her. He hit her, but then she fastly flew
to his back and grabbed him with her claws, throwing him at the wall.
Harpyamon: You foolm, recieve the Wind of destruction!
Genkimon couldn't move, the wind was buring him into the wall more and
more. Then Garudamon and Angewomon attacked the destroyer from behind with
their attacks.
Wing blade!
Celestial arrow!
Surprisingly Harpyamon flew up, dodgeing the attacks, that were now about
to hit Genkimon. He was able to deflect the attacks with his hands.
Genkimon: Hey! Watch were you're aiming!
Garudamon: Sorry Genkimon.
Harpyamon: HA! You're too slow, darlings.
Angewomon: Why you...
As the digimon were battling Harpyamon, Domon and MagnaAngemon were having
their own problems with LuciferAngemon. Domon was sending punches and kicks,
but none seemed to affect the digimon. He finally was preparing to do his
speciall attack.
Shuto blast!!
LuciferAngemon recieved the special attack, but only was moved a couple of
inches. Domon couldn't belive it.
LuciferAngemon: Not bad, here's a real attack.
Crimson fist!
Domon corssed his arms in front of his face, blocking the attack. He was
pushed all the way to were the digidestined were watching the battle.
Mimi: Domon! Are you ok?
Domon: I'm fine.
TK: What are you waiting for, MagnaAngemon!
MagnaAngemon charged his counterpart with his sword. He slashed him several
times, making LuciferAngemon back away.
LuciferAngemon: Hey, not bad!
MagnaAngemon: I'm just getting started.
The angel digimon smiled, just as Domon jumped from behind him and
upercutted LuciferAngemon, followed by a rounhouse kick and a shuto blast.
Domon: Now MagnaAngemon!
Gate of Destiny!
LuciferAngemon was hit one final time by Domon, wich sent right into the
gate. The battle seemed to have ended, but the evil digimon wouldn't give up
and stopped the gate from opening with his bare hands.
LuciferAngemon: Don't think that I'll go down that easily!
Domon: Rats!
The hybrid looked at the battle with Harpyamon, and then he got an idea.
Harpyamon was evading the constant attacks of the digimon. She seemed to be
having a good time with them.
Harpyamon: Come on darlings, why don't you try harder before you die?
Then, Domon grabed her by her foot and started to spin her, much like he
did with Kaioumon when they were training. He threw her aiming at the gate,
but she managed to break just before she entered the gate.
Domon: Now! Finish pushing her into the gate!
Genkimon: Right!
Wing blade!
Celestial arrow!
Cataclysmic beam!
The evil digimon blocked them, but she was sent right into LuciferAngemon's
face, making him let go of the gate and both were sucked into the void.
LuciferAngemon & Harpyamon: Curse you, digidestined!
The gate finally closed, a bright light emanated from it. Then, two
digieggs fell, allong with the keys to the next floor.
Genkimon: Good idea Domon.
Domon: It was nothing, we all did our part in defeating them.
Tai: Well done everyone. Only three destroyers left.
WereGarurumon: They're ours, right MetalGreymon?
MetalGreymon: Piece of cake!
Sora: Where's Leviatmon?
Joe: That's right, he should have been here already.
Mimi: Lillymon, would you go look for him?
Lillymon: Sure, I'l' be right back.
The fairy left the Tower, then she returned with two digieggs, one of
VenomKabuterimon and the other was Leviatmon's. Mimi started to cry.
Matt: I'm sorry Mimi.
Tai: We should have stayed there to help him.
Domon: What's done is done, now we have to defeat the other destroyers.
Sora: How can you be so heartless?
Domon: Look, all I'm saying is that we should make sure that his sacrifice
wasn't for nothing, we have to defeat the remaining destroyers.
Izzy: He's right. Let's go.
The digidestined grabbed the other digieggs and placed them into a bag
where the other destroyer digieggs were being kept. After that the
digidestined walked the gigantic steps upstairs. They opened the door and
entered the chamber. It was dark. The digidestined seemed nervous. Suddenly,
a pair of eyes started to glow in the darknes. The torches inside the chaber
lit up, revealing SkullGreymon, who was accompanied by ShadowGarurumon.
SkullGreymon: So, we meet again, I'm rather surprised to see you here.
ShadowGarurumon: We are the strogest Digimon Destroyers. I hope you are
prepared.
Matt: Trust us, we are.
Tai: Izz, what do we know about these guys?
Izzy: Let's see. Computer, show data on SkullGreymon and ShadowGarurumon.
Computer: SkullGreymon, skeleton type, ultimate level, his special attack
is the Dark Shot, wich uses the missile on his back to attack.
ShadowGarurumon, a doom type, ultimate level, his special attack is the
Shadow Claw, similar to the Wolf Claw.
Tai: Well guys, get ready to rumble.
MetalGreymon: Right!
WereGarurumon: You got it!
The digimon were ready to fight. The odds were even, but this was a battle
of titans, who will win?

Only three or four more chapters and I give Tale of the Digimon Destroyers
its end. Hope everyone is enjoying the fic. On part 12 the colosal battle
betwen MetalGreymon and SkullGreymon, WereGarurumon versus ShadowGarurumon,
and the return of the mega digimon. Send me email, death threats, virus,
bombs, whatever, I'm open to every suggestion you can give me. The new
season of digimon started last saturday, I personally think it's awesome.
