Technical knowledge is essential in today's world.  In my classes, I expect students to acquire and apply skills to solve problems, to present their ideas and to work with others.  Chemistry is the study of matter and changes in matter.  Successful students will gain essential problem-solving and communication skills in the study of chemistry.

Labs
*Lab reports are due the class period after lab is complete unless posted otherwise in class.
*Late work is not accepted.

Absences
*The student must use posted lesson plans to get assignments missed during an absence.  Time to complete work is the number of days absent + 1.

*If no new material has been covered during a school-related absence, the student must take tests or quizzes as scheduled upon his/her return.
