Chiseled in Sorrow

Forever chiseled in stone
The fluid form of melted wax
Of sorrow so great
The graceful willow
Bends under the burden
And bending, breaks
Yet sorrowful she walks the pouring rain
Alone and wandering
Motionless in grief
The wind smoothes the clinging silk
Thinning and polishing
Until even stone breaks and falls
And the heavens weep
