Short History: Zephre was the only child of one of the greatest of the Oweomyran lords. As she grew, he taught her that she could be as great a warrior as any man, or even better. He instilled into her the values of the mountain clans and taught her of honor and truth. At the age of eighteen, she became a knight of Oweomyr and soon distinguished herself as both a strong warrior and a convincing diplomat. These were her two main roles and she learned to hide her emotions, for they could give her away to the enemy. Her deepest secret, about which even her father did not know, was the fact that she was in love with Etheldan, the king.
